Have not tasted Arnold's fried chicken for many years,this outlet @ city plaza has been operating here for a long time.. ordered the half spring chicken & 2 PC plate to compare & the latter tastes better! Best to come during weekdays,not much crowd

First time having Arnold at this outlet, its at corner outside toilet. Lighting isn't bright and seats are limited.. Fried Chicken is tasty, crispy, not oily not too salty, its good. Only drawback is the price, it is on the expensive end. The food is better on this outlet compared to the one in North..

Came at 9pm and there wasn’t any queue. The fries was very cold and we did not touch it at all. The chicken was hot and fresh. The skin is crispy and is the reason for being so popular. The meat is moist and we are glad to have tried this. It’s quite oily but thankful for the gloves that is provided with the meal. We ordered the three person meal for $46.40 but this 9-piece meal, 3 bread, fries, coleslaw and mashed potatoes is more for a four person meal. The mashed potatoes are awesome and the coleslaw is uniformly chopped, it’s very refreshing. The coleslaw is not diluted at all. The bread is normal. The set comes with 3 drinks with a choice of Mug, coke, Milo (additional charge) etc.

the taste I just I remembered it when I tried many moons ago.. been a while since I came here.. the welcome crew uncle is very friendly and makes us feel like old friends visiting.. the chicken is aromatic - very crispy (skin) and tender (meat)... sorted out a fried chicken craving nicely! 😋

Service is ok. Food waiting time is also quite fast. Chicken served is fresh and juicy. Definitely taste different from other fried chicken chains. Personally, I don’t like thick fries.

Finally tried the well-known Arnold’s Fried Chicken that has been raves about by many and they certainly didn’t disappoint. I went with my wife on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and surprisingly, there was no queue. Waited a bit to make my order at the counter and ordered a 4-pieces meal for 2 before making payment. FYI, only Nets or cash is accepted. Service was relatively fast and everything was ready on a big serving tray. The chicken meat is juicy and tender. I like the seasonings and marination on the meat which are way better than other chain fried chicken outlets. The fried buns are an interesting and delicious side which complement the mashed potatoes and coleslaw. All in all, a very satisfying meal and I would definitely return whenever I crave fried chicken

Happily enjoying 39 year old chicken recipe with family. Great eatery concept. Simple food queue system way of ordering. It’s tender chicken set will get your fingers wanting for more. Brilliant coleslaw for all to share. Here we go for fried chicken goodness.

It has been many years since I last ate here. The fries were rather disappointing as they were cut too thick and were not hot and crispy. The chicken on the other hand was pretty good. It was freshly fried and crispy and delicious. While not knocking on the food quality at Arnold's, I believe Popeye's chicken presents better value for your money, as the set meal comes with a soft drink whereas at Arnold's it is charged separately.

I had a craving for fried chicken but ended up really disappointed. I had to queue for 20mins to find out I'm NOT allowed to dine in because I'm Chinese and it's Ramadan so the restaurant has prioritised people who are breaking fast.... There's a list that's there with people's booking for breaking fast. I ended up ordering to take away, since I've already queued for so long, waited another 20mins for my food to be ready. I looked around the whole shopping centre hoping to find a place to eat. I ended up having to eat the food outside the shopping centre on a bench with the food on my lap, I was looking for some comfort food for a moody day, and ended up disappointed.

Shiok, but expect long queues during Hari Raya period for dinner. Ordered two piece meal with fried buns and onion rings, plus half spring chicken. Spring chicken is quite small, but seasoning and texture is good.

went for lunch on monday. outlet is quite small with about 12-15 four seaters. food was served fast. fried chicken tastes better than other fried chicken faat food chains. everthing else is self service. staff came around regularly to clear table

Can never go wrong with Arnold’s fried chicken! Still taste so delicious and crispy. Very fragrant and sinful, but who cares! However, I must add that their payment method doesn’t include credit card. The queuing system in this outlet can be confusing too. There were QR codes on the table but we have to queue outside of the shop to place an order. Really defeats the purpose of the QR code.

As an Eastie for over 50 years, I must have been living under the rock. Today is our first time ever visit Arnold’s Fried Chicken. Singapore’s very own KFC. What can I say? Move over, KFC ! AFC is way yummier. The chicken is moist (I suspect the chicken might have been marinated with milk or Yoghurt) and the “sand”-blasted chicken skin is crispy. Even the coleslaw is fresher than KFC’s. All I can say is that AFC has won a new fan !

The 2 piece meal chicken piece is so tiny and they charge so expensive. The wing is the same size as the spring chicken. attached is the proof of the size compare with teaspoon..So u can imagine how small it is.

I'm trying Arnold's dining in for the first time instead of ordering in. The experience is more enjoyable with enhanced flavours. They offer disposable gloves for convenient eating and provide basic soap for handwashing - a considerate touch.

A delicious spring chicken which is not that oily and with succulent meat and with reasonable price. Used to serve a delicious chendol drink several years ago. This is a local chain. Do come here if you are in Payalebar vicinity. Be prepared to queue for 15-20 minutes during peak hours.
