Located near the escalator and have sitting inside the restaurant and along the walkway. Was pleasantly advised by a friendly Malay female staff to take the table near the entrance as it’s cooler. First try at a halal ramen and tendon place and was pretty interested in finding out how the chicken broth would taste like. Unfortunately both the original and spicy versions turned out to be very salty. The egg that came with the noodles was over cooked and ramen lacking the springy sensation. Batter for the tempura was too thick and had a “yeast” taste, accompanied by a bland dip. Maybe taste buds have been numbed by the saltiness from the ramen. Pity about food as the environment is good for a quiet dinner.

Love the tendon and ramen options. The tempura seems to be a hit and miss sometimes, but still a great option every visit. Bought duck and chicken ramen, with very rich broth for both. The noodles were springy and the overall combination of flavour was just nice. Speedy service during lunch hour was impressive. But the food almost on the salty side, and the tempura can be a little oily, especially the fish tempura. Green tea always taste great over any other drink options. Recommended place for a casual , but delicious Japanese e dining experience 🙂💪🏼

Ramen noodles are slightly on the hard side, but soup wise, they are quite good. The yuzu soup is based on quite a refreshing, sour taste with a strong aroma of yuzu and chicken broth. Fries shishamo was really 👍🏻 good, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Fried tempura is also very nice, crispy and not too oily.

Pleasant dining experience. Ordered the signature tendon, very filling. Batter is too thick but comes with a variety of ingredients: mushroom, egg (mine was perfectly cooked, yolk was very runny), baby corn, sweet potato, 2x prawn, 1 big fish, very crunchy seaweed, also comes with miso soup. They serve free water. Place was quiet on a tuesday evening even though it is mostly occupied. Omar and Alice provided good service. If there's not enough sauce, you can ask for more tendon sauce, which they will serve in a small bowl. Will return again if I want to dine in a quiet place with company

If you miss eating Authentic Japanese Food, then you may try here. Most Restaurants in Japan, will serve Ramen in big bowl with big portion but here the portion is small for the high price paid. To bring out more on Japanese atmosphere, Restaurant should play Japanese music or theme songs. Wasabi should be made available too. I hope they can improve on our next visit.

tempura don ($15.90++) could have come with more sauce, was a little dry, but still tasty and i loved the tempura nori. pretty standard place; nothing too special but also nothing to complain of - nice that it’s a halal option!

Delicious food (halal) and prompt service! I got a beef hotplate lunch set, and husband got a spicy beef ramen, okonomiyaki gyoza and houja tea. We both really enjoyed our food and got a free dessert for liking the restaurant’s Insta page. Will definitely come back.

First time trying. We ordered Spicy Black Spicy Chicken Cha Shu ramen. And Suki Toji Set. Overall very good taste. Better than certain bigger ramen franchise. Big enough portion with reasonable price. Recommended to try.

Hesitated a bit before stepping into in to try it for the first time due to the mixed reviews. Some very positive and some very negative. 🧐🧐🧐 Well I’m glad I did and had a good dinner. 🥰🥰🥰 The tendon was very good, perfectly cooked rice with quality ingredients nicely fried and not oily. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Just an absence of sauce, which was settled easily- politely ask for more🤗🤗🤗 Batter is of the thicker side (I kinda noticed that generally Singapore’s tendon batter are slightly thicker while those in Japan slightly lighter) I’m very impressed with their fried egg, dude that made it, did them with great precision of timing and temperature (egg yolk was still runny)😘😘😘😋😋😋 Ramen soup which is made with chicken stock is thick enough, fragrant and balanced. 😋😋😋Definitely not a coffeeshop version as one of the reviewer claimed. Maybe the dude in kitchen forgot to taste as he cook that day. 😅😅😅 Service crew were all very good as well. Young Malay chap 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼, Fat dude 👍🏼👍🏼, floor Manager 👍🏼. If really wanna complain is that they are all dudes, so no 小妹妹for Ojisan to see😂😂😂 Food quality ⭐️ + Pricing ⭐️ + Cleanliness ⭐️ + Taste ⭐️ + Service ⭐️ = A 5 stars google review.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the ramen. Tokyo Shokudo offers a wide variety of ramen dishes to satisfy every palate. I opted for their classic chicken chasu ramen, and it was delicious especially the noodles. The broth was rich and creamy, with layers of umami flavors that danced on my taste buds. The noodles were cooked close to perfection, and the toppings were fresh and generous. It was a bowl of pure comfort I will definitely come back again in the future..

I really suggest trying their "Signature Tendon" – a mix of tempura with rice. In my opinion, this outlet consistently delivers top-notch food quality, unlike another outlet I've been to where the tempura wasn't as crispy. Also, my friends enjoyed their ramen and said it was quite good. May give it a try next time but for now, it's still Signature Tendon! Oh ya it's a Halah restaurant chain by the way, which makes it a good option if you're looking for a place to dine with your Muslim friends or colleagues.

Foods are fresh and good. A bit salty as japanese like. The prices are high. Service are good and served very fast.

Not a pleasant experience at this restaurant. The broth was so so salty. Want to order hot tea and is not even refillable. Won’t be going back to the same chain of restaurants.

I think my insides have been preserved from the excessive salt used in the dishes. The elderly tea auntie had to refill my tea twice. Servings are also on the small side. Sorry, unless every other Japanese place is full with a queue, I suggest thinking twice about eating here. I'm still thirsty writing this review.

It’s very unfortunate that this is a one star review cos I actually had the ramen before and while salty, its comfort food the last time I ate here. As seen from the photos, the restaurant is empty. I stood at the reception for ten minutes and nobody served me. When asked the lady at the kitchen counter if I could sit, she just waved me off and didn’t say anything. I assume she was just kitchen staff doing takeaways. There was no cashier and from what I could tell, there was also one chef, and possibly one cleaner sitting at the restaurant tables. One patron sat there with no food. So disappointed. Was looking forward to their ramen which I liked. Shut down this establishment lah no point if you have no staff.

Ordered the ebi tempura & beef shabu don set. Miso soup is half a bowl only. Beef was well seasoned. However prawn tempura was small and the batter left an oily aftertaste. Also tasted overdone. Luckily the don came hot. This set only for small eaters. Halal place.
