Staff very quickly showed lack of patience and attitude when I asked her to repeat what she said. The food quality is okay but a poor customer experience and impression will stick with you

My friend ordered a fried chicken nugget for me, and then I wanted to add one, and then that person said to order it [Angry] together and using impolite tone , before that she didn't ask me. After that, she asked me what I want, and I pointed it out to her, and she took it by mistake, and other stuff said in a very annoying tone "call each food name next time". Not only that, she tell me dont be mad🙄

I am writing this letter to express my deep disappointment with the level of service I received at your establishment recently. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by the shocking and unacceptable behavior of your staff members, who displayed a complete lack of politeness and professionalism. From the moment I entered your premises, I was met with indifference and a dismissive attitude. The staff （aunty）appeared disinterested in assisting customers, and their tone was consistently impolite. Despite my attempts to communicate my needs clearly, they seemed inconvenienced by my presence and showed no willingness to assist me. To make matters worse, their behavior escalated from rudeness to outright anger. I was astonished by the blatant disrespect I encountered. It is deeply unsettling to be treated as though my patronage is a burden rather than an opportunity for your business to thrive. As a customer, I firmly believe that I deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy. Unfortunately, the treatment I received at your establishment fell far short of these basic expectations. It is disheartening to see such a lack of regard for customers and a complete disregard for the values of good customer service. I sincerely hope that you take this complaint seriously and address the issues I have raised. It is crucial for your company's reputation and success that you train your staff to provide the level of service that customers deserve. I expect a prompt response and a sincere apology for the ordeal I endured.

Bad experience especially the outlet at JEM bad attitude bad customer service. Order set request for the black container they start throwing my food into the container with a very frustrated black face and their tone when they serve customer is like we owe them something. 2 staff both ladies

Is there is a negative 5 for service, I’d gladly click it. Food is definitely yummy as always but the attitude of the service staff is beyond appalling. As someone who frequents OCK, I’m surprised to find out that the management did not investigate even though the reviews are flooded with negative comments on the service level. Disappointing.

elderly staff are not equipped with digital literacyat all… wanted to redeem some voucher from the ock app but then they didnt know how to do/couldnt help and just forced me to pay using cash and dont use my voucher just because they already put cheese on the fries… should teach them how to do if ur going to hire them/put then as cashier bc i had no issues redeeming at other outlets 😭

Such kind staff that will patiently wait for you if you didn't know what to order. Such kind people that are enthusiastic and waited politely for people to make up their minds even if the line was long. The food was amazing, tasted better than my grandma's food. In a nutshell, Service was as good as their food and Old Chang Kee will always hold a special place in my heart.

Rude staff, i asked for the stick of fishball first and told her i am still scanning through. Mind you i was the only customer there and the staffs were talking among themselves. I asked for the popcorn chicken as well then she muttered "Dont know what to order dont order" under her breath in chinese which i clearly understand.

I went old chang kee at jem outlet. Was long Q and waited for almost 20min in the Q but no one serve us.. there's a Philippino man pretend to not see us and doing his own thing.. when one of the customer call him he keep say another staff go toilet 5min come back but when I turn back ,I saw mid age lady with old chang kee uniform was sitting down. I believe she on her break. Well this kind of staff really affect the sales of the day. Don't bother about business at all.. what a day..

today I go and redeem my birthday voucher and the female who looks like a store manager or sth gave me a supercilious look, she thought I was a tourist and rudely say they don’t accept cash in Chinese to me, but unfortunately her Chinese sucks, so I speak back in English that I do not have cash and I never give her cash, you thought I am a tourist and has a discrimination on that, but I am not. Anyways, the service sucks and I wish all the tourists never come here buy stuff since the staff here have discrimination on you.

Everytime I come to Singapore I always make it a point to visit an Old Chang Kee store. We don't have them in my country. I have always been fond of Old Chang Kee ever since I first tasted their selection many years ago when I first visited Singapore.

The cashier (lady in specs and short wavy hair) was extremely rude ALL THE TIME! She NEVER pays attention to what you want and always took the wrong item! When we highlighted to her(all the time) she will show you the black face and cold hard stares like it’s our fault she took the wrong items! She has the cannot be bothered attitude and acts like the whole world owns her a living! We were very polite to her FYI but she wasn’t! She also cannot accept the fact that we can make payment with our watch! She will kept saying cannot cannot cannot when she sees you taping with your watch! Please lah OCK, I believe you can do better than this nonsense right! Please send your staffs for re-training or do something about her attitude, she is obviously unhappy all the time and it should be addressed! Hope to see some positive improvement soon!

I order a Popcorn chicken with cheese, the lady auntie put a small portion cheese for me. And I requested to put a little bit more, but what she told me is imm branch have to add money than can put some more. Hello I don't mind that u tell me to add money for the cheese, but this attitude really disappointed to buying food at this store.
