Crispy Cornflake Chicken 🍜 Food wise: Ooo hot fries and well salted, straight up plus point. The chicken was tender, but today's crispy is on the hard side, probably due to overwhelming customers. ✨ Ambience wise: Swensen restaurant, ice cream machine and ice cream cake fridge are always so tempting. 🤵🏻 Service wise: The staff's response, despite the number of customers, was really fast. They are always there. 💵 Price wise: It was okay, affordable once in a while!

It's been a while since I last visited Swensens. Probably my 1st visit in 10 years? The food remains to be ok but service really needs improvement. We went with 2 free dining vouchers from our insurance agent and just becos of that,this doesn't provide legitimate reason for staff to treat us differently? The voucher includes soup of the day, main course and a drink. The soup of the day and 1 main course never came till we asked for it after my kids finished their kids meal ... The staff nonchalantly states the kitchen never see it.. huh? The staff in general looks super unmotivated, and I wonder if this is an understaffed situation l? During payment, it mentioned HSBC card is entitled to 10 percent discount with no min spend. The staff said " you only order 2 kids meal and 2 kids dessert? " Yes .. but any issue with that?

Burgers were good, fish and chips were acceptable, Oriental Chilli Fish Pasta was bad (really, don’t ever order it), and service was even worse. When it was time for ice cream, the table was still full from the plates of our main course. They served the sundaes and totally ignored the plates. It was impossible to get the attention of somebody to clear the plates and the ice cream was melting, so we ended up doing it ourselves. Just a couple of big plates, just to be able to reach our sundaes comfortably.

the food standard isn’t equal amongst all outlets. i’ve had better at the jurong point outlet. sweet potato fries came soggy, has no crispyness. steak and curry baked rice below average, can get better ones at a hawker centre. macaroni & cheese tasted like boiled pasta with no sauce at all. the cheese isn’t distinct. the only food that was average was the fish & chips. the staffs here are excellent, felt very welcomed, prompt service and helpful which is why i gave one star. other than that, i don’t think i’ll visit this outlet ever again.

They have moved from the corner unit and the new unit looks better as it is much brighter and more welcoming than before. Spacious and good number of seats. My favorite from swensens is the topless 5 as you can choose your own flavours! Recommend for those who loves icecream but not interested in toppings like sauces and all~ Saw they have new icecream item that looks like dumpling but didnt get to try.

The 5 star meal that you have to digging in deepen in a restaurant. Only few people will know the taste of very western steak in town, the only Steak you choose is the Tenderloin and it’s able to choose the cooking level into rare. And it cooks just right. The side dishes just ok. Dessert is one of the best reasons to come by. A bit pricy but ok… the environment just a bit noisy. Many people here for family dinner with kids. Tenderloin steak - 5 stars

Atmosphere not as cosy as before but understandable as trend/demand changes. Food is still as good. Crispy fries, well grilled fish. Love their banana split ice cream as always.

If you are here for the food, don't. I'm upset that I have to post such a scathing review of what once was a place that served good tasting food which I looked forward to patronising. That was years back. Swensen's is sadly not the same anymore. Mash potato side was dry and artificial, tasted like it's made from instant powder. Cheese macaroni side was bland. The fish in the fish baked rice was flavourless, the rice dry and lacked sauce, and whatever little white sauce was milky starchy and bland instead of creamy. Sprite was simply cheap tasting sugar syrup water. The soup of the day (see pic) was more like goop - a starch solution with an artificial seafood flavour (think imitation crabmeat). Lamb chop was fatty. For a household name that markets itself on the ice cream, the ice cream was not firm, melts within seconds and tastes like what you can find from a Nestle Neapolitan tub sold in a supermarket. This was not the same delicious food that I had in the past. And for this price point, it's not worth it. The only decent tasting food, though not amazing, was their coleslaw and fries. But these are sides that you can get at the same quality at a lower price from a fast food restaurant. Best dish of the night was the complimentary iced water.

I recently enjoyed a delightful lunch at Swensen's, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The new promotion featuring the Ultra Burger was an absolute highlight; the flavors were beyond incredible. But that's not all – Swensen's consistently delivers outstanding food, and this visit was no exception. Every dish we ordered was a masterpiece, and the quality and taste were simply outstanding.

A famous chain conveniently located at a neighborhood mall. Service staff was attentive and always with a smile. Air-con was slightly on the warmer side but overall it was a nice place to have a family lunch.

Staff were friendly despite being very busy, Ultra burger was also very tasty, with just the right amount of seasoning, with premium cheese and bun. There were some strips of onion skin which were slightly weird. Would return again for lunch.

Came here for ice cream after our meal. Service was a little slow even though it wasn't very crowded. But the kids still enjoyed their ice cream very much!

I can confidently say this is one of the worst, if not the worst western i have ever ate in my entire life. 60$ was the bill, steak was ordered medium rare but it came raw, asked to recook (1st photo) , still close to raw 😂 . Double meat but chicken literally 3 inches, all in all, would rather eat soggy cup noodles then visit this outlet again, and for the chefs, please consider a career change.

All food quality so so around 3star . But customer service so bad. 2 staff(white color clothes) sit behind customer and so noisy? They can sit far from customer many sit other side. Still can not understand about this shop customer service.

Being an EXSA silver winner myself, I know what's a good service. Today I am totally awed by the service by Linda (server) and Richard (manager). Linda is very helpful for helping me out and makes me and my family feel very comfortable while having our lunch there. Richard is also very good and patient in explaining the perks I can claim. Excellent service from both of them. Food is tasty too. Excellent dining experience here. Thanks very much.

service was so bad. when we requested to change our seats at the start because the ventilation was bad there and felt like we couldn't breathe, we asked the staff uncle to change it but he muttered under his breath and seemed irritated with our request. after that, he also ignored us when we raised our hand for service. asked the same female staff three times for chilli and Tabasco sauce at different time intervals, but we still weren't given them. only when we asked someone else on the 4th time then we got them. usually, swensens would serve water first before anything. however, this time, they forgot to serve the water and even our drinks were served towards the end of our meal (usually these would be served before all the food!) the food was not up to par as compared to the other times i have visited. the u.s. fries were not as good as usual. the fisherman's catch baked rice was so dry (picture provided), barely any sauce except for the top. the pizza was the only good one out of all the food ordered. please improve on your service and food. this experience was absolutely terrible and i'm never coming back here again.

Like the Sticky Chewy Chocolate Sundae here which is a very nice desert. For main course prefer Corn Flakes Chicken Chop, Curry Chicken Bake Rice. Always wanted to try the Impossible Burger. Hope this is also nice.
