Poor service! The frying station male staffs were super rude! I waited and no one attended. After prompted, he said " I ASKED YOU TO WAIY RIGHT?!" Who on earth can hear you with your mask on and frying at the same time? Are you talking to your youtiao or butterfly? Dough Culture management, with so many bad reviews on Google, I urged your team to step up and do something about it! Super bad experience!

Happened to be around the area at 10am so decided to get breakfast. They just opened. I was the second customer. I start my day feeling positive and happy, until I was served a lady (Chinese auntie) in specs, very rudely like I owed her a million dollars. I nicely asked what’s an item because the tag was wrong. She simply used the tongs and “tsk” at the question and starting slamming and rearranging the tags. I placed my order (which is just Tau suan) and she said, somemore? I said that’s all, thank you. You know what she said.. “ THATS ALL ah?” And rolled her eyes. Is it wrong to get only 1 item??? I kept my cool, and even said thank you, have a good day and smiled. But she rolled her eyes again 🤦🏽♀️😂 I mean, wow the attitude in the morning. I encountered a couple of times but didn’t bother to review but this morning was real bad ah. Cause I frequent the one at Canberra plaza more now since it’s nearer to home and the staffs there are very friendly, welcoming and keep their work station clean and tidy. As opposed to what I experienced at NP. Probably need to have a kinder culture at dough culture NP 🥲

When I paid for my banana fritter by shop back, the Malay lady cashier said ok but she doesn’t know how to do because school didn’t teach her. Her employer should train her. The shop mentioned pay with shop back is accepted but she doesn’t know how to check.

Bought from youtiao and butterfly from this outlet. The taste and smell is nice but the youtiao is really small and pathetic. It looks like a deflated balloon unlike the fluffy fat crunchy kind from markets. Butterfly also cold and hard. Really disappointed in the quality. The only plus point is they are very easy to locate in all malls.

i dont know abt others but to me its very nice crispy and delicious...It costs reasonably cheap too .To me the auntie isnt rude but the chinese auntie is friendly.My favourite is the youtiao fried as well as goreng pisang and peanuts dough and to be fair the butterfly ham chin peng dough with tao suen was super fresh and crunchy . suitable for tea time snacks as well as early dinner for teens and family . It only cost less than 15 bucks for so many dim sum.

Love to buy their 'zai er' but some batches are not fresh, probably kept too long? But if you happen to get the freshly fried one, it's very fragrant and crispy.

Tried the Black Sesame Bun after seeing breadangel’s recommendation. Dough is nice and chewy but the filling quite little and not much black sesame taste.

The attitude of your staff is very bad, the service attitude is very bad, and the attitude is very arrogant. I went there at 11 o'clock this morning to buy a deep-fried dough stick and a spring roll. Your staff asked me if I wanted to pack them separately. I didn't hear clearly, so I returned "Ah", then your employees kept mocking and mocking this sentence. I complained to a boy in a black uniform in the store. He said he was the supervisor here. I forgot to ask his name. I hope you can positively criticize and educate your employees' attitudes and behaviors

Bought last week and today. Last week it wasn't nice and it's cold and not crispy . Today the fried items are also cold and and not crispy. Like overnight. Will give last chance to buy next time. If still cold, I will not buy again from them. NO QUALITY control.

Bought something frm dough culture. Food is fine, but the auntie was very rude! I asked for 6 butterfly buns, she gave me 1. I asked her nicely i wanted 6, she said "just now u want 1!" then continue to scold me like a step mother . Even the customer in the Q next to me shook his head at the auntie. Not happy to serve customer then don't work. Dough culture, pls do something about this. I would love to come back, but with this stuck up attitude, customers will think twice.

Cannot make card payment at 945pm because they have banked in cash money. I dont see the relevance. Food was still on display, and only cash payment accepted. I was from work, very hungry and wanted to eat something but the lady rejected.
