Excellent briyani lah!!! Recommended by my colleague quite some time ago, never managed to go. Today decided to take a walk with the family and to eat briyani. Well rewarded effort! The rice is excellent, fragrant and soft. My mutton piece tasted excellent too and not to spicy. But was a bony piece and had to dig at the meat. My wife considered the chicken a little dry but the rice was good. Service was quick and prices very reasonable. Parking is an issue with no big car park nearby. Have to try your luck at the private estate behind.

They didn't sit us even though there was a sign to wait to be seated. We ordered murtabak + 2 prata + maggic noodles + 2 drinks. I am not sure if it is good-good food but err I ate it all. They'd come to you if you wave like you're waving the national flag.

When in the area I love coming here for breakfast. The prata is lovely, chewy and has a good bite and to it without being too greasy. My favorite is either the egg prata or egg and cheese prata. The masala served with the prata is tangy without being too spicy. Ice coffee is fragrant and has a good punch. Other menu items tried were the thosai filled with potato curry (hearty and filling) and the tissue prata (if you want to go bonkers on your sugar intake).

Food was awesome. The service staff were all friendly and polite. I have tasted good mee goreng here after so many try outs at different eateries. The lamb chop was also super duper good; it was to die for. Their black pepper sauce was somewhat alittle different in taste and pricing was reasonable too.

Average coin prata with average Maggie goreng ayam, place is rather crowded and there was a queue around 1AM. Recommend only if you’re around the area and if you’re dying for prata. Service was pretty alright and thankfully the coffeeshop was pretty clean

Tea connoisseurs will know just how robust the flavour of Zamas' Teh Pandan is.. and that was exactly what I used to frequent them for, plus the best Choc Banana Prata. Recently, in a revamp of their menu, Zamas introduced the Prata Tsunami - Two plain pratas, Curry, and two eggs. I thought it was just that but daYUM. What was presented was an explosion of textures and avors. Let the prata soak in the curry, yolk, and runny egg white 🤯🤯 Who knew something so simple can taste so delicious and at only $6!!! Truly comfort food! The "larger" sibling is called the Prata Tornado and comes with Mutton Curry and meat🥹🥹 I'll definitely be heading back for that!

I've heard good things about zamas but this was a little disappointing. Would give it another try. Tried the teh pandan and teh tarik. I would say it's okay. If you want really good teh I'd recommend Tekka market. You get really good teh for just sgd 1.10. The Maggie goreng pattaya was too sweet for my liking. The red sauce on top was sweet. The Maggie was sweet. I didn't finish it. The mee goreng seafood was the better choice but the seafood wasn't fresh for sure. Very rubbery. Hence the average 3/5 stars.

Had the chicken set. Not so good. Chicken tasted quite flat. Didn’t quite enjoy it. Perhaps the chicken briyani would have been better. Wife says the prata is good! So 3.5 stars for us perhaps. Ambience is nice though parking is really limited

Giving an honest review of this place, Advice to the restaurant owners. Train yourbstaff better The efficiency is non-existent Reached at 12.50pm And ordered 3 drinks while looking through the menu. Cos it's a really hot day 5 mins later, drinks not here yet Spoke to 1 waiter and he says got to wait. The person in charge is making the drinks Dude, I ordered canned drinks You guys have a canning factory here? What the ????? When I approached the first waiter who took my orders, he fished out the order chit and started shouting across the restaurant to another fella That was when I realised our orders were not placed yet. (And the best is yet to come) After a few more mins (cos the wrong drinks were served), I placed orders for the food. Only to realise the restaurant does not serve the western food in the menu til 5pm They bothered to label the thosai as available from 4pm But did not label Western food from 5pm only (Refer to the pics for a clearer pic) Finally at 1.05pm, I placed my orders For 3 food items Its now 1.35pm Lunch has just started 30mins wait Was the food worth it? Definitely not when you have to face bad services and long waiting time The Mee Hong Kong has dark sauce poured in; almost like an afterthought. Like the chef thinking to himself 'this needs some color'

ordered nasi goreng butter prawn. prawn was rubbery…rice was tasteless…portion was pathetic! supposed to come with 1 egg but didn’t, egg came after but was cold. butter chicken was not butter chicken, more like fried chicken in butter sauce. milo is extremely sweet with powder not mixed. worst of all, had to wait 1 hour for drinks and another 30min for food

The late night food here is amazingly delicious, had the plaster and plain prata, the fish curry and sambal goes so well with the prata, such a rare interesting mix and their maggi mee goreng pattaya is filled with chicken chunks which perhaps makes it yummier. Their prices are higher but worth every cent of it. Staff are helpful as well!

Portions were generous. Tried their mutton bryani the rice was covering the huge portion of muttons. The muttons were not gamey and has a nice spice to it. Took abit long for the beehoon ikan bilis but founfld its worth tge wait, it has a wok hey taste to it. Their prata was crispy and curry is good too!

Great place for Prata. The Prata(s) are well “smacked” & fluffed up before & after being made, leaving it crispy yet fluffy. Hadn’t notice ot in previous visits, & it might be a recent addition, but they served the Prata with sambal chilli now. Yummy! Only had it this way in another place at Joo Chiat, & I must say it’s a nice touch to the already delicious Prata + curry combination. But warning to those with a weak stomach like me 😖 after eating my breakfast, I had to visit the toilet…… Teh Tarik here never disappoints too. But a bit more to the sweet side. Ask for Siew dai to prevent diabetes 🤭

Nice place for supper. Food is excellent. Maggi goreng portion is generous, prata is freshly made and not oily at all. Utensils are extremely clean not like other places.

Been there on a few occasions. Had to wait for some time. If you’re super hungry, I suggest u go to another place. However, the food is good.

Only come here for desperate supper, otherwise you’re better off cooking your own food. Picture shown is $7.90 chicken maggi soup after 30 min wait. They are better off charging less for less frozen corn and carrot, or at least offer the options of not having certain ingredients

I recently dined at an Indian restaurant, and while the food was delightful, I couldn’t help but notice that the table was quite sticky. In my opinion, the restaurant could benefit from some cleanliness improvements.

My third time eating at this location. They don't sell naan at 2 pm. Only after 4pm. Service was slow at 2pm, it was 20min wait. Dosa (Plain) : available in the morning; in was slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside better than ABC Restaurant (4 Stars) Biriyani (Mutton) : rice was generous and nice and loose. Papadam was fresh, but the mutton texture was hard to chew that it was disappointing. - 3 Stars Prata (Plain) : I like my prata flaky, not doughy. It's more towards the doughy side. This prata is likely made with Planta/Margarine as I could smell the distinctive scent. I prefer ghee or regular vegetable oil that's not artificially hydrogenated. - 1 Star
