Penang Culture is a Halal Restaurant located at Changi Airport Terminal 2 and just a few minutes away from Changi Airport MRT Station, Penang Culture is a great place where families and friends can enjoy tasty and value-for-money Penang dishes in a casual and comfortable environment. Food in term of taste can improve, lacking flavors. Especially enjoy having the Egg Oyster.

Can’t travel to Malaysia🇲🇾 for the next 2 weeks? Not to worry, Penang Culture has got you covered with their staggering variety of hawker food that will bring comfort to the soul😌. It might not look aesthetically pleasing at first but I swear its taste and generous portion made up for it😋. For those that’s crazy over cheese🧀 and fresh seafood, this unique combo will definitely satisfy your cravings! In short, I had a good time and experience!

The foods are delicious, they are like the taste just like in Penang. We order Laksa and Cha Kwae Tway or fired flat noodle with prawn. The restaurant is quite nice and families friendly place.

Had the salted egg char kway teow. Taste and portions are reasonable. But it’s too pricey. Would only pay this type of price at the airport. Otherwise, it’s not worth it. The staff were friendly and service was fast.

Ate here before sending my dad off and was greeted with a great view of the transit area while having our lunch. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and approachable. Would recommend eating here if you are flying off or just visiting Changi Terminal 1! They are located at level 3 departure hall #03-19

Not 1st time visit to this restaurant across the Singapore but 1st time review Quite decent food and still acceptable if you want to try the taste for Penang food but no time to fly. The price is quite affordable. The steam fish is fresh and the fried rice portion is quite big.

My recent visit to Penang Culture left much to be desired. While the food was alright, the overall experience was marred by the abysmal service we received. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted with indifference from the waitress, who seemed more interested in chatting with her colleagues than attending to incoming customers. After an awkward wait, we were finally seated. When the waitress finally arrived, her attitude was far from welcoming. It was as if she were doing us a favor by taking our orders. She lacked any enthusiasm or knowledge about the menu, providing vague answers to our questions and making us feel like a burden for asking. She then just asked us to order using the QR code provided. As for the food, it was decent at best. The flavors were underwhelming, leaving us feeling like we could have had a better meal at the Burger King opposite the restaurant. To top it all off, when we finally managed to flag down our server to request the bill, they seemed annoyed and impolitely asked us to pay at the counter, further extending our stay at this lackluster establishment.

You'll get a sterilised version of Penang food, though arguably still with some authenticity. We had the Char Kway Teow (with Crab Meat and salted egg with additional cockles), Assam Laksa, Otah, as well as Tea Latte, Bundung and Chendol. The tea latte was weird though, and while I'm not a Penang native, I haven't tasted any tea like this in Penang before, it feels like the tea was steeped for too long as it had a burnt bitter flavour. Bandung was decent, though sweet. The Char Kway Teow was average, nothing special even with the added crab meat and salted egg. The additional portion of cockles was a let down, and the cockles were really small, I'd advise against getting them. Assam Laksa and Otah were decent, though the Chendol is a mixed bag. The coconut milk and ice shavings were done well, however the green rice flour jelly was too dense and mashed. It had a bad texture / mouth feel, and not much in the way of taste. However, staff service here was good (and food is average for an airport, even with my complaints), so kudos to the staff here.
