First time trying their ayam bakar belado, easily became my favourite dish! The belado was so tasty and the chicken was super tender. What I love most is their sambals (they have a variation) are one of the best ones I’ve tried. A must try. Bought their nasi sambal goreng, all praises. Generous portion, super tasty, fresh ingredients and value for money!

Went down to try the Lontong Kering and lontong in person as over the years have only tried takeaway that was bought by family or via online food deliveries. Even though was not even 8am,there was already a queue. The ladies mending the stalls are polite and nice and the food looked good. Unfortunately was slightly disappointed by the Lontong Kering (Dry Lontong). The Kakak told me it'd be $7 as it comes with the rendang. I've had the rendang numerous times and it's usually pretty tender but this time the rendang was very dry and felt like it was left overnight. The serunding and sambal goreng were delicious. The soup lontong was way better. We ordered a side of sambal fishball and quails eggs to go with it. Overall the food is nice, just be prepared for the queues.

Celebrating Chinese New Year🍊🍊 but decided to order some delicious food from Gerai Nenek Obek for my family instead...it came just in time for lunch and all praises from my family...food arrived hot even though we stay at far west...and their chilli....gawwddd...it goes so well with all their dishes...thank you so much G.N.O 🤩

Wow this meal is so WORTH IT!! Worth my travelling down, worth the $ and definitely worth to come back for more! Friendly family stall with nice food!

This stall serves equally good food and it’s prices are better than Sinar Pagi which one reviewer said that you have to go to the bank when you eat at Sinar Pagi. Gerai Nenek has some delicious dishes although not as many as their neighbour. The stall holders are friendly and obliging and do not over charge you. This is my 3rd time buying food or eating there and they do not disappoint. The food is tasty i packed 4 packets a fried fish, fried omelette, sambal goreng and some archar and the portions are quite big, top up with some Ayam masak lemak gravy and sambal blachan $7/- which I consider is reasonable. Should I be in the vicinity of Geylang Serai Market I would patronise this stall again

The taste, so so. Their neighbour much better. Worse still, no customer service, no courtesy smile provided by the owner that served the loyalty customer. Bye - Bye.

First time trying this dish and I was wowed with the taste of the peanut sauce, sambal sotong and the freshly fried paru. Priced at $7 for two meat and two sides plus steamed kangkong and bean sprouts.

Price abit steep but potion is generous. Personally for me they have the best Nasi Padang In that area. Much better then sinar pagi for sure

Lady was very rude during ordering process. Understand that she’s wearing a mask, but that doesn’t give her the right to black face her customers when they can’t hear her. Food is great, but not coming back due to this unpleasant experience.

Generous portion and truly filling to eat during breaks. A group of friendly staff with a good vibes. Will definitely come back againnn ! Sedappp !

Food is good. But customer service very bad. The fair skin woman who serve is very rude. I dont believe the feedback from other customer till i personally expirience myself. Very very rude woman. How good the food my appitite spoiled with the service. Will never buy again.
