A comfortable restaurant with great services. The menu is neat and sufficient from small dishes to main and deserts. The Maluccas beef ribs taste so good. Tender and a lot scene going on in the mouth with first bite. Well done. Roasted canoe beef bone marrow is another excellent dish. It grilled well and go so well with the bread. Jamaica jerk chicken wing is not bad too. There are still plenty to try, will return next time.

We spent about $150 for 5 dishes. The bread served before main course is good. 8/10 Carbonara could be a little saltier, a bit too creamy to my taste. 7/10 Pizza (smoked duck) is nicely done 👍🏼. 8/10 Fish and chips is alright, I like their tempura fries, but don't like their fish. 6/10 Scallop seasoning is nice, but the scallop is no very fresh. 6/10 Ribs is tender, taste is not bad. 8/10 Overall the food is a bit too jelak (too heavy) for us.

quite a new restaurant in Turf Road, we had ordered 3 dishes, beef ribs is the best one among all. the meat is tender, with mash potatoes at side, mixed with the sauced from the ribs, Yum!!! would also recommend to try the bone marrow, eat with the bread, good match! The other dishes are also tempting, will return again next time and try different dish.

A great great time here for dinner. Food was excellent - both taste and portion size. Open kitchen so you can watch your food getting prepared. Great hosts - Mint & Noelle were very friendly and accommodating. An ez recommendation. Their menu changes regularly so don't miss it!

Had free bread while waiting for the food and the bread was delicious especially when pared with olive oil. Service was impeccable, portion size was huge and the food presentation was superb. However giving 4 stars as the spaghetti was slightly too salty for my liking. I loved the smoked squid but it was slightly tough and I needed to use the knife to cut into thin slices so that I wouldn't choke. Would try other items on the menu though.

We had Omakase experiential dining experience and it’s 10/10! Service was impeccable, food is beyond our expectations! Hey, if my 80 yr old grandma love their food and the people behind it, it shows a lot of how much she truly enjoyed the experience. My photos don’t do justice to the creations they made. You’ve got to experience it to know what we mean when we say we love every dish and moment of it.

Chanced upon some word of mouth recommendation of this rather elusive private dining! I’m glad The Lover and I followed our gut and made reservations! We were enjoying every course of this Omakase and the surprising menu kept us guessing! The only thing we knew? It was gonna be good! I’m not gonna spoil the surprises, but will let the pictures do the talking. It was absolutely lovely paired with some chilled, delicious palette cleansing teas. Every dish was lovingly prepared with attention to details— I’m feeling the SOUL man! Premium produce at not so premium prices. Affordable enough to come whenever they update the menu (which I suspect will be quite often as they are creative 😛)! I have not included photos of the entrance as it is part of the experience for others 😜

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and was treated to their unique interpretation of Omakase, which deviates from the traditional Japanese style. Their innovative approach to this dining experience left me intrigued and delighted with each dish. The food was tantalizingly good, and each course was a surprise that excited my palate in unexpected ways. The service, too, was commendable. The staff were attentive and professional, further enhancing the overall dining experience. If you're open to trying something new and enjoy the concept of Omakase, I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Their food and service demonstrate a commitment to quality and a desire to offer something unique to their guests.

A truly memorable dining experience! 12 course omakase . From Japanese to American BBQ ,to Central/South American dishes and Asian dishes. Your palate is on an exciting traveling experience throughout that 2hours. Well thought yet unexpected combination of some of the finest ingredients, you will be intrigued by the plating skills and the taste. Very attentive staff and great introduction by the staff. Well worth a visit for that special or rewarding occasion!

I recently visited the social outcast restaurant and was blown away by the amazing service and delicious food. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly professional and attentive, always making sure our drinks were filled and that we were comfortable. But it wasn't just the service that impressed me - the food was outstanding. Every dish we tried was cooked to perfection, with the meat being particularly tender and juicy. The flavors and textures in every bite were simply incredible. To top it all off, the chef, Mr. Outcast himself, even came to our table to apologize if there was any less-than-perfect service, even though we had experienced nothing but excellence. He was incredibly humble and gracious, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I would highly recommend dsocialoutcast to anyone looking for an amazing dining experience. I plan to tell all my friends, colleagues, and family about this hidden gem of a restaurant. I wish them all the best of luck in the future, and can't wait to visit again soon!

My husband and I love Social Outcast's burgers and pizzas before. So when we heard they have this new Experiential Dining we cant wait to try. We tried their 7 course Woodfire Experiential Dining to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we had an enjoyable, sensory and mouth-watering experience. Ella and Noelle were great hosts with good knowledge and made us feel comfortable. The food was well thought of, tasty and we could feel the creative passion of Chef Mint. We also appreciate their thoughtful gifts. Thank you.

It was a double celebration for my husband and I: anniversary and birthday. The Social Outcast was so thoughtful in giving us little gifts on our special day. Our first 10-course omakase dining experience was mind blowing! The different flavours and textures work so well together in each dish. We also would like to commend Ella who was so full of energy! She makes our dining experience very entertaining and engaging! She is approachable and we felt very comfortable talking to her. Kudos to the young chefs as well! They definitely have a bright future ahead judging from their awesome culinary skills! We will definitely be back real soon to try the wagyu experiential dining! Keep up the great work The Social Outcast!!! 👏🏼👍🏼

Ella (our host) was super friendly & helpful! Noelle, Tian and her team were all very welcoming too Omakase 7-course meal was superb! Service was really fast and Ella was super helpful in explaining the dishes & ingredients! Atmosphere was chill & mysterious, even the toilet (red room) is really interesting 👀 Furthermore, they ensure that you leave their place full! Chef Wan prepared an additional dish (for you to find out) and it was amazing!! I have more videos of the dishes (but can’t upload to Google 😭)

TL;DR Food was great, the company was even better. Amazing service and hospitality from the team. We had the 10 course woodfire experiential dining. The food was amazing and Ella was a really great host. Chef Mint, Noelle, Hafiz and one more chef (whose name I can't recall I'm sorry) took such great care of us from the moment we stepped in. Do come with an open mind and let them take care of you. You'll have the best time there. Very likely will come back for more as we were told they periodically refresh their menu!

Book 7 course dinner experience for me and my wife wedding anniversary. The moment we step inside the shop we were greeted by a Ella, a great knowledgeable, bubbly and cheerful host. Our omakase experience was awesome, all of the food was bursting with flavours in our mouth. The young chef that whips our food is great, always smiling and answering to our queries about the food preparation. Thank you for the gift for me and my wife for our Wedding Anniversary . Overall a very good experience and will come again to try the 10 course omakase or the wagyu experience.

Came here for a friend’s bday celebration dinner. Entrance has an European airbnb vibe. Great for chilling with drinks and light snacks at the round counter top. Then there’s this mini entrance that leads to the main dining arena. We preordered the Alaskan king crab course ($188+)in advance. Crab was abit lackluster as the meat felt shrunken and wasn’t as grilled as i thought. My friends thought maybe it was frozen crab and didn’t say much about it as it was a joyous occasion. The marinated egg sauce that came with it is nice though. Ordered the Moluccas beef ribs ($38)as well and damn it was gd! Meat is tender and the whatever magic sauce it’s marinated with goes really well. So i guess their forte is in meats. So the host Ella was saying that they serve really gd burgers as well and was enticing us to come back again. Being a sucker for burgers, i came back for a second visit to try their classic burger ($22)that boast an A5 wagyu patty. Ok so here’s where i got a little disappointed. I can’t really tell the diff between a reg beef patty and an A5 one.. cause it’s all minced. Supposed to have a more buttery taste but i really can’t tell the diff. The brioche bun was abit dry as well. I guess maybe over charred. I had to add another $2 for a slice of cheddar omg.. What i like is the 2 pieces of tamago sandwiched in between. Total dmg after tax for the burger alone is almost 30 bucks. Well overall it’s a decent burger but not sure if it warrants that price. I gave another star for Ella being a friendly and chill host!

had my birthday dinner here and i enjoyed the whole experience! this might be one of my fav place to dine esp for date night 👍🏼 my partner chose the 7 course Omakase experience and we both love it! would definitely come back and try their wagyu meat Omakase course and and their burgers. Even tho we went before CNY period and manpower was low, the service is still the best and we got to vibe with Noelle and Chef Mint better as we were lucky to be the only couple dining in that night for the Omakase. The staffs made sure we were comfortable from start to finish and not be too serious 😝👍🏼 Had one of the most interesting yet mind blowing conversations with Chef Mint too! Thank you team for the hard work! btw anyone plan to dine here, check out their Red Room!! Love the idea of Chef Mint’s fortune quotes too.

My wife brought me to The Social Outcast for my birthday dinner treat. It turned out to be an unforgettable food experience that I highly recommend to people looking for a unique dining experience. We selected the 7 course meal and were treated to dishes inspired from cuisines across the world. Tom Yum Porridge, Grilled Unagi with Udon, Century Egg and Fugu Chawanmushi, Red Velvet Lava cake with Raspberry salt to name a few. The photos will offer more justification to the delicious dishes that were served to us. We were also exposed to Junboocha which we are planning to try more of in the future. At the Social Outcast, dining is more than just eating food served. We got to converse with the owners and Chefs about the food, their journey and even went onto life topics for two hours after our meal. They even presented me with a unique birthday gift. If you’re not convinced to give them a try yet, let me make it clear that The Social Outcast is an amazing dining experience that food lovers should go for.

My friends and I totally enjoyed our first omakase experience. Chef Mint is very engaging with the customer interaction and time really fly by quickly without knowingly. The food was plated right in front of our eyes and the taste totally blows our mind with the burst of flavors. I will probably be coming back here again in the future to check out any new menus created.
