wadeh 3 for $2 comes with much "bigger" prawn than store opposite, nasi lemak kukus, n green chilli... Popian not as tasty at $1.20/ pc. But staff are friendly... Try get from this store than nasi lemak kukus (not sure their "good food certificate are actually valid"...

I am writing this review a bit too late after visiting Anak Bapak a few years back in 2017-2018. However it never gets too old, as this place is a treat for anyone who wondered how "Bak Kut Teh" tasted like because you never find the halal version of this dish. The uncle who runs this place has been doing it for a long time. He makes Beef Bak Kut Teh halal version, and it tastes amazingly wonderful. The spices and herbs added to the soup gives explosion of flavors in your mouth. When I had a chat with the owner, I mentioned the fact that I found this place after reading a few articles on internet. But the elderly owner/chef did not know that he was so famous online as he did not use any internet or Facebook. He believed his food got famous due to word of mouth. There are many other dishes he prepares, but the 'Beef Bak Kut Teh' is the signature dish. Location: Anak Bapak Blk 4A Eunos Crescent #01–16 Eunos Crescent Market & Food Centre Singapore 402004

The place is located in a hawker center just beside the eunos mrt station. The stall is in the center of the hawker area and halal. I have been going to this place so many times in the past and glad to know that the same guy is still cooking up the dishes and is the same good taste as back then. Lunch period is really busy as the uncle us the only one cooking and managing the store, many customers need to wait abit due to the solo manpower, but no problem for me. Pricing and portion is the same as last time. The uncle would close the shop for awhile after lunch hours to take a quick rest before preparing again for dinner time do take note. I awlays wanted to try the halal version of the bak kut teh, here they sell the beef version. Overall satisfied with the food served! Will come again

Excellent food, plenty of choices and variety of seafood, noodles and rice combo. Highly recommend their beef bah ku teh, which is in an excellent broth, full of flavour. Tried Fried Mee Goreng Cockles and Fried Rice Chicken. The chef is also very friendly. Expect a bit of queue during peak period but the wait is worth it. Love it! A different twist to Malaysian’s halal wantan mee. The beef kut teh is delish! Just be careful of the mala pepper in the soup or you’ll numb your tongue biting it.

The halal bakuteh was quite different from the usual. This was more on the peppery side. Lots of Big black pepper was inside so be careful when eating. The beef was tender and flavourful but also loaded with fats on many of the chunks. If that is a concern to you.. flavour wise it’s wholesome almost identical to mutton soup. Overall can eat again if you have the feels. Customer service very good. I was carrying a baby and the staff brought the dish to my table.

Good food. I wouldn't compare it to any authentic Chinese style cooking as i believe the owner over the years has developed his own flavour base on his clientele. But on its own without comparing it to any other shop the food here is tasteful with generous portioning & affordable price.

Came down on Monday at 5pm plus to try their halal Bak Kut Teh but no longer serving food. Google map state that its open from 10am to 7pm. Should’ve change the timing. Disappointed and waste of time.

One of the better Malay style fried kway teow I had in a while. Friendly people with a simple stall, in the middle row of the Eunos hawker centre behind the MRT station.

It’s very disappointed as I bring my friend from Malaysia just to came here taste this beef halal Bak Kut Teh. Open half shutter and i ask other hawker they also say not sure open or not. I arrive at 11:30am and google say open at 12pm-7pm. Waited almost 2 hour. Decided to eat briyani at other hawker and wow! its amazing

It’s my first time trying Bak Kut Teh (don’t worry it’s Halal version). To be honest as a muslim I don’t have the comparison with the real Bak Kut Teh but this one taste good and can smell the spice so nice. Worth to try😄
