Quite mediocre, the tom yum beef noodle is bad - taste like Maggie noodle and was served slightly warm only. Most importantly, it is $17.90 - rather steep price for this quality The meat for bbq is ok, but that’s about it and it is also quite common and nothing unique about its flavour.

The food was just average and not really worth the price. For the chicken set it was 9 dollars for just a few strips of meat (see image) which I think was quite inadequate. The service is alright, and the place wasn't that crowded since it was a weekday. Brought chopsticks politely upon request. I bought the chicken set and you have to heat it for a while over a controlled flame before consumption. The chicken was okay, but nothing special and not really affordable considering the price tag. As for the rice bowls, it was also just okay food. However, the kids meal is quite tasty. Otherwise there is nothing special about this restaurant. Will not be coming here again because of the price.

For the price, the cuts of meats is alright and quantity is good. Recommended to get the set meal with full steak for $25++. Service is okay and food arrived quite fast.

Grilling The Meat In Huge Flames Again Despite The Friendly Staff Changing The Grill Plate Once. Reason Is Because Of The Debris Underneath The Grill Stove Which Caused The Flames. Other Diners Also Encounter Such Problem From What I Observed. Management Should Look Into This Seriously.

We had a very strange and unpleasant experience. In fact, I'd say the staff is rude. First, the positives: the food is quite fair value. I ordered the Shokudo full beef set and the meats were decent. The portion size is quite fair for the price of the set. The taste of the food however is quite average - I've had better elsewhere for around the same price. The one thing here that needs big improvement though is the service staff. We started dining before 6pm on a Saturday and the place was only half full at the time. Nevertheless, it felt like the staff was very keen to get us off the table. On two separate occasions while we were eating halfway, one of the male staff will suddenly reach his arm across our face without warning and take the empty plates from the other side of the table. To be honest, we felt that it was rather rude just that we didn't bother to make a fuss about it at the restaurant. Could the staff not wait for us to finish our food completely and set down our utensils before they clear the whole tray at one go? Eventually when we left at 615pm, the place was still only half full.

Including GST and SC, this meal is $24. 100g of meat and a steak. The food serving is generally inconsistent as my friend who ordered the same meal had a bigger portion for meat. The stove here is slightly more violent despite it being at level 1 but I would say that's a good thing as my food was cooked fast. Soup here was absolutely AMAZING. A pity they do not allow refills as it doesn't cause the place to lose money. Kimchi is generous but slightly too sour to my liking.

We left the place disappointed with the food. The restaurant atmosphere didn't match the food menu. Mediocre and pretentious. Ordered a set meal. Served with a small servings of meat, a bowl of rice with miso soup and a side of kimchi(in a Japanese restaurant)? The marinade of the meat taste exactly like the korean beef bulgogi set that I usually have at the Cantine Food Court. The steak portions were small, beef cuts weren't properly curated. Looked at other patrons wagyu portions, seems like quite lean and thin. Other japanese bbq staples like seasonal mushrooms and vegetable tempura were also not on the menu. It's quite a shame because the staff service experience and restaurant decor/atmosphere was excellent. People actually queue to dine into the restaurant.
