This place gave me Malaysian Kampung vibe. We decided to have an early lunch here. The dishes were leaning towards a Malay kampung dishes (lauk kampung). Wide varieties of choices and the dishes we had were tasty, and transported me to some kampung in Malaysia having these dishes overlooking a padi field. The simple and humble Grilled Cow Fish was perfectly cooked and served with savoury soy, fresh chilli and diced onion as dipping was so good (you can ask for sambal belachan). Very kampung style. 👍🏻 The asam pedas fish roe feels homely and the broth was wholesome. Squid ink dish was nothing lack of spice goodness. Sitting capacity is quite limited so it’s best to come early or just ask for a take away. We’ll return to try other dishes.

Not the most delicious nasi campur I've eaten but it is very good nonetheless, can taste that the foods are being cooked by someone experienced in cooking malay dishes aka older people who cooks well. After reading reviews I thought it was going to be very expensive but my stingray asam pedas set cost $7 which comes with lemak turi and fried egg, I find the pricings very reasonable. Well deserved 4 stars and will buy again in future.

Nasi Goreng Petai with worms in their Petai. Unhygienic and does not even bother to slice and clean the petai thoroughly. I had to do it myself to end up finding dead worms in it..

Note update: this stall moved away and no longer operating here. I like coming here to get delicious Malay traditional kueh kueh, especially goreng pisang. Pricing very affordable. They sell satay and bbq seafood. My helper buys nasi here. Stall closes quite early in the evening once food is sold out.

Everything is so-so. The service is nearly okay. They're pleasant but a few things that we're unhappy about. Firstly, They got us a wrong order twice despite telling them twice. Secondly, this shop called 'daun upeh', but they don't sell any upeh dish. The server proceed to say that we need wait very long for the 'daun' to soften, that's honestly your job as a staff that needs to prepare it way before customer ask for it... Thirdly, the menu never show price, no pictures, and very few list of food. Unlike other restaurant, this is the first time I see a 2 page menu that barely have picture and just like 10+ dish names. Which they also don't sell most of the food in the menu. Finally, the waiting time is like more than 20mins. Overall, sorry but not worth going here the second time.

The food portion is resonable, quite generous. Bean sprouts are done crunchy, vegetables are well cooked n soft. Chicken was a tad overcooked n dry. Assam gravy was delicious. Had a shock when paying as did not expect the chicken thigh to be $6, same price as a fish or sotong elsewhere. Do be careful when ordering, ask e price first if you don't want to have a price shock after.

Service was good and variety was alot. Food wise the taste was ok, but abit on the pricy side. For a Nasi Pandan nearby can consider good.

Nasi sambal goreng power, more tempe than tahu 👍🏼 Rendang power. Sambal belacan very fresh. Love the spread of ulam. My parents and I enjoyed the dishes. Worth the money spent.
