I really wanted to like this place but the food wasn't as fantastic as I had hoped. Great portion for beef and the slices were tender. Lots of la mian but the noodles weren't great, were dense and slightly chalky. Lava egg was run of the mill. Dumplings large and juicy. Soup made me thirsty the entire afternoon, tasted like MSG. If not for lacklustre noodles and soup, I would have given 5 stars. Overall quite good value for money. Place gets crowded very fast, long queue by 12noon. Electronic ordering system, very fuss free. Number gets called, collect food from counter. They give serviettes, which was nice. Don't like that they use disposables. Tables are small, can get squeezy. Clean and comfortable aircon surroundings.

I ordered the combo of fish vermicelli and beef noodle. The vermicelli tastes a little bland for me, but I guess that’s how it should be. The beef noodle, on the other hand, was delicious. As a Vietnamese, it reminds me of “phở bò”. The meat is super tender and well-marinated. The coriander and spring onion go great with the soup. The tofu skin salad was also good, very Chinese with the spices. I order 2 beef balls and they were so so. The price doesn’t seem a lot for the location, but the bowl is also quite small. For lunch it’s packed.

Nice quick stop for noodles! They give a lot of beef as well. The aunty was very nice and friendly :) would definitely come back again whenever I’m in the area!

Fantastic deal with the membership. The lady at MBFC outlet was very accommodating to assist us with our orders. The braised beef la Mian was delicious! Would visit again.

I hope your management team can put more efforts to train your employees so that they can understand how to respect customers. Today around 11:40am, when I was ordering the food, the waitress commanded me to get out of the bar counter- because she only allowed me to check menus and photos outside. She was very rude. There is only a few customers in the restaurant at that time, and I was not standing out of anyone’s way. If you don’t want your customers to check menus at the bar counter. Why do you put photos there? If your employees are not professional and even “command” your customers, how could you run this business? That lady really refreshed my understanding of Singapore's catering industry.
