First time to Alaturka yesterday and it was a fantastic experience! We ordered the set for 6 persons and the portions were just right. Everything tasted good; a friend who has been to Turkey before commented how it tasted authentic. In addition, another friend mentioned how it is significantly better than another Turkish restaurant that is very popular. Lastly, the decorations in the restaurant were beautiful. This is definitely a place worth visiting!

All the dishes we ordered were great, including their Turkish coffee! The meat was tender and the taste of sauce was too tasty to stop until I eat up! The ambiance and service were also comfortable to enjoy the meals. Especially I’d like to appreciate again to senior male staff for his suggestion about our coffee. Though I’ve eaten Turkish cuisine only a few times, their dishes changed my image dramatically. I like Turkish food——No!—- their Turkish dishes. I’m sure I’ll visit them again, especially craving meat.

Pleasantly surprised with the speedy service, cute ambiance and delicious food. The veg mezze platter had some so-so dips, but the breads, mains and even the chicken was delicious and light. Would return for sure. Dessert was one of the best I've had in a while.

First time having Turkish food, and it was a pleasant surprise! Aside from the food looking amazing, the taste was great, too. Each item was seasoned well and was flavourful! Just a suggestion to anyone going to order the Künefe (dessert). Make sure you have many people to share it with because it can get quite filling from the cream and cheese after a while! But the taste was supper yummy :D

The food and ambience was great! Their sharing platters have the right amount of food and includes the items I wanted to sample. I also enjoyed their drinks - we had lemonade and ice mint tea, and I like that it's not sweet. Good for groups up to 6-8pax. Definitely would be coming back.

I had the pleasure of trying Turkish cuisine for the first time, and it was truly a delightful experience! The standout dish for me was the lamb; it had absolutely no odor and tasted fantastic. The grilled items were a highlight as well, bursting with delicious flavors. The restaurant’s ambiance was beautifully decorated, and the staff was both charming and incredibly helpful, taking the time to explain the dishes to us. While it’s not the cheapest option, the prices are fair for the quality you receive. One thing to note, though, is that the platter we ordered was described as “for two,” but for Asians, it’s considered a generous portion. So, if there are four of you and you’ve already ordered other dishes, I recommend going for the platter for two only; it’s quite substantial. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great dining experience!

We ordered a seafood platter and grilled chicken for our main. Food was great especially the seabass. Juicy and not overcooked. We wanted to order additional serving of the seabass only but were told it will come with rice and salad but we knew we would not be able to finish it. Didn't order the extra serving in the end. Staff was attentive too and patient in asking what we like and gave us recommendations.

Highly recommend. 3rd time here, food is always so good. Brought a friend who has never tried Turkish food and never tried lamb, and she loved the food so much. The meat is always so soft and flavourful. Best knafeh in the area imo. We stayed and talked till pretty late but the staff still treated us very nicely, did not rush us or anything.

We got a table by chance as the place was reserved. Reserve beforehand to avoid disappointment. Ambiance is shiok! It is a small place but the hosts are so warm welcoming, helpful and alway at your service. We had a great experience, food was absolutely delicious 🤤 every single thing we tried was delish!! We had their koftas! Yum! Very soft juicy and cooked perfectly tender. Then we tried shis tawoq very juicy and flavourful chicken salad was very fresh and rice were JUST like we had in Turkey! Fluffy and flavourful. Falafel was like we eat at other place nothing extra ordinary it was good. We fell in love with their breads and starter platter with dips delicious 🤤 couldn’t get enough of it. All the breads were v fresh good ingredients used. We had their mint tea it was v authentic. Definitely will come back again. Damage for 2 people 135$ without desserts ❤️

AS A VEGETARIAN: I really was expecting this to be one of the usual turkish cuisine places, but I definitely was surprised by the extensive menu and food. The service was really good and the waiters really knew their recommendations. The food was just extremely tasty and was quite wholesome and filling. Though I wasn't the biggest fan of how pricy the place is, the ambience and abundance of vegetarian options made up for it. All in all, a really good experience and wouldn't mind going again.

Went here for a birthday celebration and the attention to detail from their service staff is amazing, didn’t mention to the staff that it was for a birthday celebration, only had a note in the reservation. But they went above and beyond, having candles in the dessert and even giving us props to take pictures with and proceeded to then print out the photo of us to keep! The food also matches the service, authentic Turkish cuisine done perfectly, the Hummus was so good we had to order a second portion! I’m not usually a fan of chicken but the chicken that came with the platter blew my mind, so juicy and tender. Then comes dessert, my first time having Kunefe and the only thing I have to say is that I wish I didn’t share it, wanted it all to myself 🤣 Definitely coming back here again!

I tried this place last night. The food and service were both amazing. The staff was friendly and very attentive (even the trainee!) even though it was so busy. We got their recommended "set" for 4 pax. Every single dish was good, especially the lamb and kunefe. My only gripe is that it got quite noisy as it's a rather small place. I would definitely recommend this place!

I've always been a fan of grilled meats, and kebabs is top of the list. Our favorite dish was the Alaturka platter. My family absolutely loved the grilled lamb and chicken in the platter. The lamb and chicken pizzas were really good. The pide was fresh and light and the entire dish tasted very fresh. The Hummus was also yummy! We also had the Arai sicak and the grilled goat cheese is worth the calories. To top off the meal, we shared a Kunefe for dessert and everyone in my party have it a thumbs up. The icing on the cake is the excellent service provided by Jenny. We will be back for more!

First time having Turkish food and was really pleasantly surprised. Their dips and bread was really exceptional. The bread was steaming when it came out it was both crispy and fluffy at the same time. The platter for 2 was also great all the grilled meats was tender and flavourful. Portion was also huge.

Delicious Turkish food! From the taste, food presentation to the quality of service, the small restaurant made quite an impression. The staff who served us was polite. She patiently explained the menu to me, who was unfamiliar with the cuisine. I ordered the set of dipping, Karisik kebab platter (prime), baklava as dessert and the salted yoghurt drink, Ayran. I loved every moment of it. Thank you for the great night!

Everything from the service to food were impeccable. Staff were polite and always made sure we were well taken care of. I ordered before my friend came and they asked when the food should be prepared and how it should be served. Food was perfectly done too. It is the little things that make a difference and win them a return customer.

Overall, the food does not amaze me, but it's a good place to gather and try out new food. - 6pax (2 ladies & 4 guys) - dinner, outdoor seating ⭐Food we ordered: - small Meze Tabagi x2 (one lavas for each, the balloon bread) - Borek (can skip) - large Alaturka Platter (chicken&lamb)(neutral) - Musakka (recommend) - Ispanakli pide (spinach pizza)(recommend) ⭐Dessert: - Kunefe (recommend, not as sweet as we expected) ⭐Drinks: - Turkish coffee - Yogurt drinks(can try for fun. It surprises my taste bud) - Turkish Apple Tea We seated outdoors but never felt hot. It is better to view the menu gallery from the website before you come to get familiar with the name of the dishes. I believe the lady boss is local chinese, and I heard her speaking English, Mandarin, and Malay, so you could ask for local preferences. If you have an Asian stomach like me, I would recommend adding to Spinach Pizza and Musakka. Be sure to order Lavas for your insta's feed. A Lavas also included in Meze Tabagi cold platter(only one in either small or large platter). We ordered a large Alaturka Platter as main, due to some of us not eating beef. The food here is rather expensive, and the portion does not meet expectations. We are not full if referring to the items we ordered. Overall, the food does not amaze me, but it's a good place to gather and try out new food.

Very impressive food & service displayed by the dedicated front staffs and chefs. It’s nice walking in the street after a wine & dine session in the area. The staffs were very attentive, price is reasonable.

Food was excellent, esp the lamb chops were tender and juicy. They also prepared a birthday surprise for my friend.

It’s a small establishment with limited tables. So be sure to make your reservation ahead to avoid disappointment. If you are driving there, my advice would be to go there earlier than your reservation time, especially on weekends evening. There is a small public carpark behind the restaurant. They serve hot bread for your meals. It tastes good. I ordered both cold and hot appetisers. Both are small portions to share by two pax. We have four pax in our group and the portion was just nice. We also ordered a deluxe platter, consist of chicken, lamb chops, fish, big prawns with rice and salad. And I placed an order of beefsteak too that was cooked just right. The food cooked well with spices and herbs. Delicious! The staffs were friendly too. Will sure be back to try other food on their menu.

It’s an absolute delight to dine here! Food quality is great and their coffee is strong enough to wake me up from my hangover ;) We came in a large group and seated right at the end - best spot with great ambience. The platter is really nice and I would their BBQ fish and meat is nicely done! We love the food and enjoyed the lunch. However, just a feedback that the seat at the end may feel a bit hot during noon. Will return again for sure

Food is highly recommended, best Turkish food I have tried- especially the baked items- pide is so soft. Grill is tender and flavorful. The dessert is not too sweet. Space is limited indoor , it’s not airy sitting outside.

Had Team Dinner with colleagues here in Alaturka Turkish Restaurant on weekday. The place was full house, but we had a reservation before so we managed to get a table. For the food we ordered Alaturka Platter, Karisik Kebab Prime, Karisik Kebab Deluxe, Tavuklu Pide, Etli Pide, Sucuklu Pide, Hunkar Begendi, Musakka, Meze Tabagi, Lavas, Borek, Kanat. For the drinks we tried their Turkish Coffee, Turkish Black Tea, Ayran, Ice Lemon Tea, House Lemonade. The food was great, the meat which were served on the plater was tender and juicy, not dry. They grill the meat just right, and the doneness of the meat as per our request. Ingredients were fresh, and the seafood were fresh too. The Pide and Lavas were good. Overall the food were delicious and flavourful. Service was great and staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. Atmosphere is fine but it was a bit hot in the area where we were seating as we sat at the corner table (indoor seating). Seems the aircon did not reach the corner area. They have additional fan, it helped a bit but we still feel warm. And the table was a bit too small for 10 of us so we need to squeeze a bit.

The restaurants around the area weren’t occupying a lot of space. Thus seating was limited and reservations were recommended if you had a large group. The Alaturka platter was a deliciously grilled meat platter. It was savoury and nicely complimented by the tangy sweet salad that accompanied the dish. However, it was supposed to be charcoal grilled but I couldn’t taste any hint of it. The babaganoush was creamy and it was a fantastic appetiser to start off. You got to eat with bread (good recommendation by the waiting staff). The star of the meal was the kunefe which wasn’t too sweet and the portion was satisfying even if it was shared by two people. The staffs were polite and professional. One of them made the experience great by helping to adjust the airflow from the aircon. They also served complimentary tap water.
