Well your average Japanese fast food with decent pricing and not that high quality products. A no frills eat and go fill tummy semi happy experience. For around 10 you get a combo main hotplate, soup and rice or just hotplate rice with meat . Plus point is your food is sizzling hot . Depending of your cookery skill , you may have a great gourmet experience with your own cooking or several trips to the bathroom because you ate uncooked meat. Overall food is ok but I reckon their quality to improve to attract a bigger crowd.

Rude service staff. Doesn't give you cue on when to order, or answer you when you collect your order. Counter staff (older female) even short changed me and when i voiced out, and before i say a thing she immediately put her hand out motioning me to return the change for the right amount. Food portion is small and miserable. I ordered a takeaway Cheesecurry RICEbeef, and found strands of noodles at the bottom of the curry sauce. Did I just get some leftovers?? On the whole this chain provides lousy, dishonest service. They used to be very popular but not any more, thanks to these terrible serving staff. Not worth the value. Never patronise again. Never.

The fair guy is extremely rude. First he said I still owed $.30cents when I just paid as per cashier via card. Then when my food is ready, I’m in front of him to collect he insisted and gave order that food be collected at extreme corner!!!! Hey please next time put up a collection point sign if staff is so rude.

Horrible double beef swimming in oil. Tilted the hotplate to let the oil collect on one side. The results are what you see in the photos. Had to use a tissue to soak up the oil. I did not eat anymore. Oh when I told them to go easy on the oil, they were evidently unhappy!

Awful experience I witnessed with the extremely rude auntie server (seems to be an elderly). An auntie behind me wanted to amend her order as it was keyed in wrongly on the receipt due to miscommunication as "add egg" vs "add rice" sounded very similar in Chinese. The cashier raised her voice at the customer in Chinese: "you told me to add egg what?!". The auntie customer was nice enough to apologise even though it wasn't her fault. She also requested no pepper & less oil, but was sent to the waiting queue by the server very rudely, and I noticed there was no indications of her request verbally or on paper whatsoever. The food was honestly bad relative to other outlet chains. The beef pepper rice ordered was drowned in oil, and the portion was pathetic. While dining, this man seated beside my table asked us if the food was good and said "this stall is mine", so I assumed he either owns the franchise outlet or is just a manager. I think rather than just sitting there using your phone and drinking, you should learn how to manage your stall better as the other reviews here aren't looking too promising as well.

Wow, I have eaten pepper lunch a decade plus ago and decided to go nostalgic today and eat it again. Not true if the portion has shrunk with time but look at the size of the salmon and chicken steak in comparison with the spoon. I have seen kid's meal bigger than what we were given. And they have a big sign saying free miso soup, but noone was given soup at all. Terrible. Waste of my money and calories

order their pepper steak for take out, the aunty very stringy at giving brown sauce. gave like 2 table spoon of brown sauce. i went there twice same thing happened. not ordering again. food portion also shrunk.

3 staff but only the cook know what he is doing. The aunty name Ah Mo… has very bad attitude. Although you are aging doesn’t mean you have the rights to treat customer in such bad manner.

Just had pepper lunch today for dinner and I was greeted by this friendly Malay guy at the cashier.. he took my order and repeat to confirm before he key in..the rest of the staffs were fast and I got my meal real quick.. I think the guy is management level since he is wearing brown.. didn’t manage to catch his name but thanks making sure I got my correct order.. I think he is new coz nv see him last time…

in contrast to other reviews, i found the staff at this outlet to be quite friendly! the portions and taste of the food were just as good as the original outlets. perhaps this is due to different staff working for today🥲

The portion of the sliced beef for the pepper rice kept decreasing while price kept increasing. Not worth it. Better to eat other food that is available
