They have set meal for 2pax - $24. (Halal Certified) I chose the Beef Platter. Coz i love grill meat. So im happy with this platter that suits my appetite. There are also buffet style. Not sure how it works though. They come around to top up the soup frequently. And ask if i need anything halfway through my meal. Other than that the staffs wont bother you. Stall is one level down. Near to POSB ATM. You are free to sit anywhere. Its a hawker centre. Quite airy as there are many fans. As long you avoid peak hrs. I went at 5pm. Very minimal crowd. Will return again soon!

The foods are comparable with Seoul Garden but the service is not there. Firstly, they do not allow a table of 5 friends sit nearby with each other. Move us to far distance from the other table. They do not actively refill the soup, need to take by yourself. And their scallops are expensive, $3-$5 per piece.

Been here almost every month before covid but today when we came back we encounter very bad custormer service with the Chinese guy with the hair bun(Owner). He came to our table telling us(Rudely)that he is not liable for any injuries jst because we brought kids along in a warning tone not once but 3times. It was so rude that people turned to look. On top of that we are a total 7 people so we asked for 2 mokata he again rudely told us can use one what if we do this next time he won't accept. Bro if u read this even if you don't have enough mookata you can explain to us and not make you staff answer for your rude mistakes. Regretted coming back. We shall never return again .

Love the halal moorata. Especially the 2 sauces. Soo good! $20 for 2pax splatter is more than enough for us. Would recommend all my friends here. The whole place will be closed for renovation. Will open in January i think.

love it so much! their secret sweet, sour, tangy and spicy sauce really complements the bbq food! Too bad they dont manufacture those in bottles for us to purchase. Would love to go there again.

This is one of the first few Halal Thai BBQ steamboat in Singapore. Me and my Muslim colleagues were eager to check them out as there aren't many options for Halal Thai BBQ steamboat available. Sedap Thai is located at 1st floor of Berseh Food Centre, within a 5mins stroll from Jalan Besar MRT. Affordable, Halal-certified Thai BBQ Steamboat. While Menu is not extensive, however includes all the familiar choices that diners typically savor. For those with smaller appetites, can go for the platter set for two at $24 which consist of an assortment of everything. There's also other platter at $24 as well, like the Chick Out Platter for Chicken lovers, or beef lover's Beef’d Up Platter using 100% Australian & NZ Beef. We went for their All-You-Can-Eat à la carte buffet priced at $22 per pax. Diners can order anything on Menu except for seafood, which incurs a separate charge. There're 2 soup options. We opt for chicken broth (however if you prefer spicy broth, for an extra $2, you can indulge in their Tom Yum soup). Sedap Thai provided beef fat to grease the skillet before grilling. Marinated meat selections were well infused with an aromatic blend of seasonings. Most importantly ingredients were very fresh. 2 chili dips are provided on the side, adding a notable touch. The denser red chili dip is not too spicy with a hint of sweetness, while the other dip had a more tangy profile, a refreshing contrast balancing out the richness of grilled items. Dining experience was fuss-free, and service was quick. To my surprise, Berseh Food Centre was well ventilated. Despite grilling our food, we never experienced any discomfort from warmth. Will be back again.

Value for money ($22) and yummy all you can eat Thai steamboat at Jalan Besar! It’s also halal certified! They had a good variety of meat to choose from so you won’t get taste fatigue! We came on a weekend evening and was a little crowded but still managed to get a table pretty quickly!

This has totally changed my impression of halal food! I’ve came across some halal thai steamboat and had doubts, wondering why I’ll choose to go such places over the common mookata chains. But this was such a game changer!!! The meats were well marinated and so tender, the staff were super detailed and they were so generous 😩 I’ll totally come back again and recommend this to my friends!

I really enjoyed my meal at Thai Sedap! Really yummy meats and great, efficient service. I had the $22 AYCE buffet and it was great value for money. Definitely will be back.

There were so many different types of marinated meats (chicken and beef), meatballs, munchies, etc to choose from! We were spoiled for choice! My personal favorites were the fresh beef slice and NZ premium beef! The meats also pair really well with their homemade sauces! You can pick between their chicken or tom yam soup. I opted for tom yam, which was just the perfect level of spice! Prices are really reasonable too for high quality halal steamboat! Will definitely come again!
