TLDR: A highly recommended bowl of beef noodle soup Order: Signature Beef La Mian Big + Add set menu + Spicy wanton Cost: $9.50 + $3 + $6.90 = $19.40 Always wanted to try this place but there is always a long queue. Having seen that it was in a kopitiam setting with not much people, I decided to try it. The broth is very beefy, umami and depth to it; doesn't make you feel jelak of the taste. Most beef broth I've tasted usually lacks umami and depth but this proofed me wrong. Normally people would add chili oil and vinegar to balance the flavors, but on it's own, I think it's perfect. I added a bit of both chili oil and vinegar because it really elevated the broth even more and adding more layers upon it. The ingredients that came along were a handful of mixed spring onion and coriander, slices of radish and shaved beef slices. While the mixture of greens and radish gave a nice bite of crunch and textural change, the beef slices gave a satisfying chew that isn't dry. The noodles weren't as al dente as I liked it to be, but it is still definitely slurp worthy. The set menu comes with a side of cold dish and drink, which is iced passion fruit tea. I chose the cold spicy bean curd skin and it was very flavorful in it's own right. Texture and seasoning was on point. For $3, I felt the drink was an afterthought and you are mainly paying for the cold dish. Lastly I've also ordered their spicy wantons. It's well made; seasoning, depth, umami and the taste of the dish. The spring onions gives it a very nice crunch and flavor profile, which I felt it was necessary for this dish. Personally, I would like it to be a bit spicier and more numbing. So if you were like me, maybe you can add the chili oil, they served on the side of the store, into that dish. Overall, I was impressed at the quality and depth of flavors. Even though most of the stuff I got was spicy, but the flavors weren't similar or even conflicting; different profiles that made it exciting to try. The only thing that could have made this experience perfect was the pricing. There was bundle where you can get a bowl of noodles with a drink at like $8.90. I didn't really compare the sizes, but I felt that was a better deal than me paying $9.50 for the big bowl. Also the spicy wanton is close to $7, which is very expensive for that dish. That said, if you have the means and money, you should definitely check out this place. This is probably one of my favorite beef noodle franchise and will definitely be back.

Too salty for my liking, the taste itself was good, I like though.., Hope they have some option service to adjust customers’ preferences. —————————————————— 2nd visit. Though their sesame paste hot-dry noodle was a bit too salty last time, the taste itself was nice, so visited them again ‘cuz I craved that taste. This time was a bit too sour. Dumpling has an option of choosing chicken or beef. Beef one was good, the texture of skin was normally ok not great though.

Craving for noodles wt hot soup in a rainy day so I found this Nuodle outlet at Kopitiam. Really satisfying, especially the chilli oil for those who love the fragrance! Definitely will come back again!

I was simply shocked when I saw this…Their wanton is so tiny that I couldn’t believe this is a main dish for adults, probably for infant instead? And get this: they are CHARGING 7.9 SGD for such a small bowl of teeny tiny wantons, which the spoon can simply hold five of them - this is worth for 2.9 SGD at most! Don’t mention the taste is even below average, worse than most of stalls in food court and it’s not authentic 红油抄手 at all! Their so called “金牌卤粉”(signature dry bee Hoon/ rice noodle) also tastes pretty weird like some TCM medicine! I would never ever come back again. Suggest you don’t try this either or you will regret for sure!
