Porridge is good, always had it with their sotong head. Be quick to get it, as it will usually be out of stock after 9am.

Usually very crowded and that's because they usually have 2 or 3 people max in the store so evening crowds are insane EVERYDAY. If you really want Old Chang Kee for a snack in the evening, just go later in the night or buy and keep in the afternoon Most of the items are gone after 6pm anyway so best to just go in the afternoon. Most of the times I bought food there, the staff is usually not in the best of moods but I guess you can't be expected to be happy if you are working in a very hot environment in a very humid place with no air-con Best time to go buy snacks is around 3pm so make sure you go around that time

Quality of food is good as usual. Their fried food is crispy and tastes fresh. My go-to place for curry puffs, chicken wings, giant fish balls and other fried snacks. However, prices have increased so much that I’m having second thoughts on patronising them. How do they even justify selling a small spring roll that is filled with nothing but shredded turnips for $1.60?

The lady who takes the order for the breakfast at the side is all smiles. She is the definition of customer service. Always visit this outlet to grab breakfast. The porridge and youtiao is popular and gets quickly sold out. Today tried the mee siam. The portion is great and tasted delicious. I wish more old chang kee outlet could open up and serve breakfast as demand is there.

The lady serving noodles and porridge are very friendly and cheerful. Mee hoon sold out very fast, need to be there early. There's another lady selling curry puffs and chicken wing, totally no eye contact with customer, no smile, and sometimes quite impatience.

Since 1956, @oldchangkeesingapore has been a household brand, especially for their signature curry puffs and a wide variety of delicious, high-quality finger food. It's delighted that Chicken Satay'O is coming back after its inaugural launch during SG50. The puff pastry is filled with tender juicy chicken and onion with a pinch of spice coming from the satay gravy peanut sauce. Only $2.30.
