Mee goreng was very tasty. Have asked for beef instead of lala and surprisingly there wasn't any additional charge! Beef slices were indeed big and tender. ********************************** On 4th January, I was here again for lunch and this time it's with a colleague because I have shared with her about the mee goreng that I enjoyed. When I placed my order and requested for beef instead of Lala, the Malay lady staff on duty said that was not possible. I told her I just had it before and I still have the receipt though. Then she mentioned that the Chinese lady staff who served me on that day actually didn't know anything. The way she told me that she's in charge here, was indeed so "unfriendly" and rather "boastful". She asked if I had paid any additional charges for the beef because it's premium beef and I immediately replied No. While making payment, she told me that this will be the last time she could allow me to have such beef for this mee goreng and next time I won't get this as it's premium beef. I replied "okay next time I will have something else". If she is really the person in charge of this branch, she should have said something better than not allowing me to have that premium beef again! As a beef lover, I wouldn't mind paying for any additional charges. I mean of course any F&B outlet would be glad to have it too. She should have said if I still wanted the premium beef, I would have to pay for it. When our mee goreng was served, I noticed it was not the same premium beef that I had before. My colleague and I were shocked. So on this note, I have no choice but to edit this review and give just 1 star. That Malay lady staff obviously doesn't deserve 5 stars for her service especially when she didn't seem to make an effort so that I could be one of her returning customers. Her unfriendliness spoiled my day!

Delicious food, but pricing remains opaque and not clearly labelled on the self service ingredients making it hard to make any budget conscious choices. Best to just get fixed price menu items like the fish, which is a type of catfish that is perfect with their mala base.

Been here twice, really love the food they served, the mala is really good with lots of options, slightly pricier than your coffeeshop or kopitiam mala, but worth it! cause just add abit more $$ and you get better value, comfort and great service! 🔥

Long queue during lunch time. Choose the mala ingredients that you want from the food counter and ordering of fish is done at the cashier. The fish broth was quite salty. The mala was average and seemed lacking in something.

This fantastic mala restaurant truly delivers an unforgettable experience and its HALAL! Their mala dishes pack a punch of flavors with just the right level of spiciness, leaving your taste buds tingling with delight. The fresh ingredients, range of options, affordable prices and very clean ambiance make it a must-visit for spice enthusiasts. Highly recommended!

Had the worst experience at their century square outlet. Very BAD customer service by the malay auntie. We were treated very rudely by her. Was told we need to pick items which cost at least $10 minimum, what we chose was just $7 which she cant accept. We then picked a vege and a pc of hotdog and was charged almost $15. And was ridiculously told when asked that the $10 which is a must is actually not inclusive of the pot base cost of $3. Okayyy. Why isn't there any big notice to inform customers before buying that we need to pick items which cost $10 minimum not including the pot base??? She rudely said don't ask her but go n ask the Manager why. Okayy that will be the last of our visit to the stall. All thanks to the makcik and her "EXCELLENT" service.

Great mala taste but worst customer service experience left a bad taste in the end My first and the last time dining in here. Price is on the higher end. Spent 42 dollars for size for two but thats ok. Got told off at the counter when we used two bowls, to separate our wet (seafood, beef) and dry items (veggie) for hygiene purposes. "NEXT TIME JUST USE ONE BOWL." Dont worry there wont be a NEXT TIME for me. Staff could have told us politely rather than being frustrated at us. Our reasoning was for hygiene.

Ate at the Changi City Point outlet. Food was great, but service was terrible. No one was entertaining the queue and since I’m new to this restaurant, I figured that it was a “find-your-own-seat” system. However, there were still some of my family members who have yet to arrive (they were very near the restaurant already, walking towards the restaurant) thus we secured a seat. Then, I was informed by the Malay lady staff twice within a short time quite sternly, and LOUDLY that we could only be sitting when all pax was present. However, she didn’t mention that we had to leave therefore we just decided to order first to secure our seats. We also very kindly made it clear that we genuinely did not know of the rule and anyway we also planned to leave if our family was not gonna arrive anytime soon. Instead of kindly explaining to us, she decided to still loudly remind us to the point where other diners were staring. When my family was already going to choose the fresh ingredients, she came back to my table and sternly said (quite loudly!!) that she’s only going to give me 5 more minutes or else I have to leave. At this point I was beyond embarrassed and if it wasn’t for the fact that my family was already choosing the ingredients, I would have respectfully left. The chinese lady staff however was very kind when she talked to us beforehand and said we could order first (fyi: we were already going to) and I appreciate her patience! TLDR: Food was great, but we would’ve appreciated kindness in the treatment given. We are not difficult customers, we would have cooperated if we were informed to kindly wait outside by the first reminder.
