Decent fish and chips eatery. The price to quantity ratio is not too good, especially the side dishes are very very small. The hoki fish seemed pretty fresh, though a tad bland. Likewise for the fried chicken which is also somewhat tasteless. They definitely need to go with the various sauces on offer. You will need to get the staff to give you more as the original amount of sauces given is really small. The spicy mayo is nice.

The fish was fresh and had a nice crunch. Big portions of crisps. The chicken was surprisingly flavourful. Sides are decent though churros fall short. Overall service was fast.

First time to Big Fish and Small Fish at Tampines Mall basement. Uncle Johnson is very friendly and helpful. He will keep checking with us if we need additional sauces or anything we need. We still chit chat a bit and he is only 2 months old with this branch. We have ordered Fisherman Sampler and 2 kids meals with chicken for a family of 5. All 4 fishes were fresh. It was well serviced experiment here and all of us are pretty satisfied with it!! 👍🏾👍🏾

First time having dinner at Small Fish Big Fish. Was greeted by a friendly senior guy Bruce, he ushered me to a table for one. He took time to explained to me about how to order and menu. I noticed the place is so busy during dinner time, and there’s only 2 senior staffs going up n down serving with pride and passion. I noticed Johnson (the other guy) n Bruce enjoyed their job by serving, which is a plus sign in service line. Then came my food, real nice setting, crispy fish n skin on chips. I would really recommend this place to all. It’s at Tampines Mall #B1-K3. I enjoyed my meal, thanks to the 2 senior staffs who make this place a pleasant place.

Went to eat my late lunch here and the dory fish was delicious! the sauces were nice too. All the staffs are friendly. I must compliment one of the staff in particular, Johnson, for the wonderful service. Johnson is very warm and hardworking. He provided good service by recommending and offering sauces that goes well with my meal 👍🏼

Ordered lunch set cost a total of $23.42 after taxes for Haddock fish that comes with chips, coleslaw, green veges and drink. Portion is a WOW feel for the price paid. Fish is fresh but coleslaw turns a bit sour but we managed to get it removed. Staff is friendly and helpful. The truffle mayo taste good.

Ambience here is not bad. The portion and quality of fish and chips is very good for the price in my opinion. Cheese sauce along with chips is very delectable. Fish is crispy and inside it is tender and juicy. The spicy fish and chips tastes good as well. The drinks are given in large cups and quantities even for the kids meal. There is a hole in the table for you to put your drinks. The price of the kids meal is a little expensive in my opinion as only nuggets are given along with corn and mashed potato. The restaurant is a little small and with limited seats, but there was not much people when we came here so we could get a seat. Be sure to bring a phone because ordering is by QR code.

Ambience is good and place is clean with good friendly staff. The food was ok but the pasta has that strong smell of olive oil (I guess) but the fried dory fish was good served hot, crispy and fresh. The drink not so fancy but oklah.

Compliments to the service crew who had been excellent. The manager was very reassuring and constantly helped to keep a lookout for seats in the small dining area. Food was great too, especially enjoyed the fried mushroom.

Had dinner at the above rest. Was impressed with the food that we ordered. The fish well marinated and fresh. Salad crisp and crunchy and the chip not too salty. Like the cheese sauce that goes with the food. Overall good seafood and service (special mention to Johnson). Will be bringing friend and familyon next bisit.

The food was good, I was dining in with a friend yesterday during the early evening. Our waitress was very nice and had us seated promptly. There weren’t many customers while we were there, so we were caught off guard when this staff member started complaining really loudly in the open. He was making comments about his work to his co-workers and overall it was really awkward having to hear him talk about his job while we were trying to enjoy our food. Shortly after, the other customer paid for their meal, though we didn’t listen in on the conversation, we heard the same male staff saying something along the lines of “but who’s making the money??” It sounded obnoxious and rude, but we didn’t know the context of the situation, it just appeared like he got annoyed at the customer for asking a question. We wouldn’t come back to this outlet again, was just relieved that he didn’t give me the same attitude as he did the other customer when I paid the bill

Very much a bang on average experience. Plus points are it’s location - convenient. I think it’s relatively ok value, better value if you are a student. Food comes hot, and the chips are crispy. However, the flavour from the fish is often lacking and a tad bland. As such, I really appreciate the sauces that are provided. The salted egg and the tar tar sauce are my favourite as they really help cut through the grease. Personally, not a fan. But will likely return if I really need an affordable fish and chips fix.

The food was really good! First time trying and we ordered one halibut and one haddock. Both were very tasty and freshly made. Overall a very satisfying meal.

first time trying big fish small fish and got the pasta set lunch. portion was generous and pasta was flavourful. fish was crispy. however the brewed coffee was too bitter for my liking. the service here was pretty good too! we were welcomed with cranberry juice & by an extremely friendly staff whos name we didnt get
