Very happy with the food. Taste like home cooked food. They were not kidding about their tagline "our curries alone make a good meal" Worth the price when you get good quality and tasty food.

I am more than upset with the dish prepared. I ordered through deliveroo for chicken rendang rice that was supposed to come with sambal goreng but they delivered chicken cutlet rice with achar and kimchi!?? I mean i didnt know nasi padang now comes with a side of kimchi! The olive fried rice we ordered was supposed to come with sunny side up and sambal goreng and they delivered without sambal goreng and egg, and added kimchi? Is there a new fusion food this Yanti Nasi Padang is working towards that i know nothing about?

Inconsistent pricing. Ordered the exact same items as my friend, but got charged $2 more instead. Apparently different cashiers attended to me and my friend. Maybe there is differential pricing coz i am Chinese and my friend is Malay. When i asked the cashier why is there a difference, she simply said she don't know about my friend's order and kept asking me to pay. Horrible experience. Food was mediocre at best. Not worth visiting. They are already expensive as you can see from other reviews, still wanna overcharge people. Gave 1 star review because google does not allow 0.

5 bucks for a plate of what I would describe as heaven on a plate. Yes, the price is high, but compared to the fares around this establishment, it is very reasonable.

Very delicious nasi padang, especially the beef rendang which is very tender and tasty, in a nostalgic restaurant. The curry chicken is nice too. 😋

Good tasting nasi Padang. Love the beef rendang and sambal goreng especially. Went back to try the ayam penyet and was pleasantly surprised by how good that tasted.

Their is very different from normal melayu nasi padang & have many different types of curry sauces... Very unique by its own. Chicken drumsticks is very tender & the beef rendang after left over in my fridge for 2 days still taste very good. Worth trying

One of the more affordable and better Nasi Padang situated in town. Location was pretty obscure at first but they totally make it up for you with their awesome food quality and myriad of choices when comes to their staple dishes. Definitely recommended to try if you are within the area.

Randomly came across this restaurant while travelling and fell in love with the food instantly from the first bite. I took their nasi lemak rice with chicken rendang, mix vege and tempe+taufu. Really enjoyed it and worth the $8 is you ask me

The best nasi Padang in the area! Comparable to TAMBUAH MAS! price is steep for hawker stall! But the food is SO GOOD! I wish I knew sooner coz my office is just around the corner!

Firstly, I don’t understand why this place is rated only 3.5 stars. Food is to my liking. Service is on-point. Location is great. We liked how they close at 10pm - twice we came at 9pm and there were still a variety of dishes available. Secondly, the guy who served us was friendly and was attentive to our needs. I requested for hard boiled eggs and they actually boiled eggs for us on the spot. My daughter wanted sunny side ups and they were able to prepare it for her too. Thirdly, pricing wise it’s actually alright. For our family of 5 (2 plates of nasi Padang, 1 egg fried rice, 1 nasi lemak with sunny side up and 2 drinks), it only cost us $32. The only downside is parking might be a killer. But we were lucky to get lots nearby.

Value for money mixed dishes rice at a prime area. Dishes were tasty, I especially liked the petai. Server was friendly and had a good attitude. I wasn't expecting the lemongrass drink to be a cordial one, but it tasted alright. Will come for a budget meal.

Parked at Keong Saik Road as parking at Chinatown was madness on a Sunday late morning (since it is very near to the Lunar New Year). Decided to have our lunch there instead of the Chinatown Hawker Center. Saw this shop with only 1 stall…it was well patronised, most tables were occupied and numerous customers were in the queue. Managed to get a table along the walkway after abt 10min wait. Dishes were awesome and we enjoyed the very authentic mutton rendang, curry chicken (whole drumstick with the thigh) and sayur lodeh. The chunks of mutton must have been slow cooked for long time as it was very tender and aromatic. Curry chicken has well-balanced spices instead of just being spicy. The sayur lodeh was robust and has the homemade taste! We also enjoyed the hot milk tea…it was creamy, not too sweet and has good texture. We even tarpau a cup home. Service staff were courteous and attentive. The young gentleman who took our order was friendly and very efficient. He asked if we like to hv chilli sauce….when he served the food. The chilli sauce was good. The 2 ladies were also very pleasant and 1 of them asked if we enjoyed the food while clearing the table. She beamed widely when we showed her 2 thumbs up! Nice cosy place serving halal dishes in the vicinity.

Mar 2023 Nice good with great gravy for most. Rice is undercooked which make it a miss. Overall a good place for nasi padang Dec 2022 The only place to have $2 nasi lemak in town

Finally tried this unassuming nasi padang place after walking by it many times and well, my question of how it survived with only mediocre ratings on Google was answered - their food is actually tasty, AND they open till late! I ordered ahead for food pickup and while what I got was nothing like the photo in the food app it was a happy surprise - the beef rendang was fragrant and fork tender, and the tempeh veggie side dish that came with it was so sedap, I just gobbled it up nonstop. I don't even consider myself a tempeh lover but that sauce is really something...Only reason why the food isn't 5 stars is due to some hard crusty bits of rice in my bento.
