Don’t bother to even come this place, it’s a waste of time. Be it brunch or supper, you be disappointed. Prata aren’t that great to start with. Sometimes you might even get Prata that isn’t cooked properly, as they might be raw and doughy. Price point is terrible here. Service is near zero, so expect nothing from them.

Very packed with people so it’s understandable service suffered a little. But the food taste-wise is not really good. The mee goreng still has the strong alkaline noodle taste and the plain prata is not really plain but very oily and with a sweet glaze. At least the chicken briyani is not bad.

Waiting time for 1 egg Prata and 1 coffee is 20 minutes. Super slow service. The Prata is not good at all. Don’t waste your time coming here.

I came at 12am for supper . A lot of people . Long Q to order food ,Service almost zero . Nobody clear the tables. The lights are the most irritating bright white LED lights which blind the eyes type . A turn off . Will never come again

I wouldn't say this is the best because there are now so many Roti Prata restaurants in Singapore now. However, Jalan Kayu is the place that started it all and is worth visiting one of these here whenever passing by.

Ordered satay, chicken masala, chicken murtabak and naan. Waited 20mins before a server came and ask was there anything served to us and nope. When satay was served, it was cold. Waited another 5mins for murtabak to be served, tasteless. Another 5mins later server came and ask if it's ok to change to mutton masala because chicken masala OOS. And waited for another 10mins without any sight of the naan and was only informed that time that no more naan!!!! One of the server even got the cheek to say I'm noisy When I was asking about my order!!!

Wish there is an option for zero star. Never had such lousy and expensive prata. It was hard and tough. Price is $1.70ea. Wasted my time and stomach. Dont be fool by the number of customers here during breakfast. Mostly cyclists on sat morning.

The accompanying dishes taste is ok. Thosai is very rather cold. The Bru coffee ☕ lacks punch, taste like normal coffee. Service is good. Food deserves 2 star Service 4 star

We ordered via Foodpanda. I ordered the friendship meal, and half of the Soup was spilt inside the plastic bag. Worst, they have forgotten the rice! I have experienced this problem before, and it looks like NO improvements have been made to address the issues.

Sunday night 11pm.. Super slow even when not full house.. Super dirty no one do clearing.. Even drinks also slow.. I don’t usually post review.. But this is real bad.. They have crowd only because they are the only Prata store left here.. And when people think of Prata, they link it to Jalan Kayu.. Maybe in the past it’s good.. But super bad now..
