One of the biggest, if not the biggest Encik Tan with the widest variety. Laksa could be spicier, but that’s to each preference! Rather fragrant though. Lor Mee is ok, a little too jelak after finishing the whole bowl. Signature noodles and curry rice are the 2 dishes from Encik Tan that can’t really go wrong. Carrot cake is surprisingly good! Slightly on the wet side, but taste is 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Update — CKT has a nice char and wokhei to it, worth the price point Update!! My favourite will have to be the carrot cake/char kway teow/claypot stall. Nice wokhei, charring and flavours for a decent price point

I like the food, have been to sg 2 times and i always going to encik tan bcs i like the food, especially the chicken cutlet set. The service juat fine. The have separate cashier for every menu. So if you want to buy food and drink you need to buy it separately

Staff gave a rolled eye welcome when taking order. Ordered Chicken Cutlet Rice but gotten a spoon full of curry, leaving the rest of the plate dry. Poor service.

not bad. so far i had the wanton mee and lor mee, both quite nice. price and portion was reasonable also considering that it is in a shopping mall.

Outlet at Marina Square. Was disappointed with the claypot rice, lots of soya sauce, 5 pieces of small chicken cubs and that’s it. It look plain, no vegetable, no spring onion very pathetic.

Just got intimidated by a male staff tending the the curry rice section, seemingly a foreign talent whose attitude is the worst I ever come across. Not only he refused to pour curry sauce upon my request but tossed the plate of rice (without curry sauce) to me and raised his voice at me said “no cant give”! Immediately I asked for the manager and he added the curry sauce but can’t be bothered to apologize for staff rudeness. At the same time the staff keep raising his voice in Chinese in the background. What was wrong with this guy?? As if he was doing his job for free?? And vented his anger at customers??!! While eventually sat down having my below par curry rice, I heard him shouting at the crowd to queue properly. WTH! Would never want to set my foot in there again! And be forewarned for unruly behavior from this guy!
