It is halal so pork is replaced with chicken. So need to manage expectations. Texture of noodles is good. It is ok and average. No complains but no wow factor. 😊 service was prompt and good though and the space is clean and air conditioned.

Located in simpang bedok, besides another decent eatery wanton mee. Average cost but above average taste! My first time trying out KL traditional chilli ban mee which is dry style, usually I would take the soup style. The taste is really not bad and exceeded my expectation. Wife ordered lor mee which is mama teh while mom ordered fried noodle which is also mama teh. Prawns aren't as fresh though per our reviews and dishes at this point. Fish cakes are decent though! If you want drinks, order them regular ones or canned drinks like coke or 100+. Their haus brew "coconut milkshake" is not recommended at all. I have tested almond milk and earl grey of that brand else where which are fine. Should really just come here to try our their chilli ban mee. Next time if i come i would probably try scallop or plain vanilla but upsize it! Despite the comments and feedback from wife and mom, actually is 3 star only but i make it 4 star only because of the ban mee 😍

First time trying this and will be the last. The fish cake is sour and confirm alrdy spoil. I told the staff and she insist is ok. Oh well prob my was the prev batch. Soup with noodle is flavourful. Noodle portion alot. And is al dente. Fish ball is sweet. Overall, idk what am I eating. Chilli not spicy too… I suspect the chef is a french cook not ban mian…

Sorry but… this is not KL Pan Mee. Also, KL and Damansara are (part of) different states. The chilli was somewhat decent, but the noodles were 🫠. If you think this is good KL Chilli Pan Mee, you just haven’t had actual KL CPM yet. Please visit KL once for the benefit of your taste buds and stomach.

Bland. Noodles and soup weretasteless. Noodles was abit hard to my liking. Nice environment but food lacking. The most tasteless ban mee I ever had. Will not be back again.

Ban mee thick and doughy, although quite bland by itself, mix it with the ikan bilis and special made chilli adds a good salty and spicy taste and texture. Very filling. Fried wanton crispy. Wu xiang tasted like paste. Can pass. Fish rice dry and hard, a little underwhelming. PayNow or Favepay only for cashless payment.

Service was quick and lady at counter was friendly. Managed to snag the last lor mee. I wish it was more starchy as the one I got was runny for a lor mee. Ban mee was good anc enjoyed it thoroughly

The chili ban mee here is really nice, with many choices of chili ban mee to choose from. I'm choosing the chicken meatball ban mee. After it comes out, you can add as much chili as you want. I go there with colleagues during our office lunch hours, so we usually order the regular one, which is already very good. They also have a lobster ban mee option that costs SGD 88.88 if you want to give it a try. I will visit there again if I'm craving chili ban mee. Also, it is all Halal.

Another gem of a makan spot for us. Unpretentious — meaning nothing poshy or packaged for social appeal — but truly with amazing authentic Chinese favourite street food that hit the soul. And for me I'll dispense with any trimmings and packaging just for the kind of food that makes my hungry tummy dance. And KL Traditional Chilli Ban Mee frankly makes me want to do a happy jig. The house namesake specialty is just deliciously sedap. It is the right perfect balance in a bowl that will satisfy your Asian palate. The other offerings on a classic old school printed menu — depending on which is still available after a while — do not fail too. Special mention goes to the friendly staff who accommodated special needs as well as politely asked for your understanding when they can't. Honest. Real. Sincere. We're pocketing this as a family go to for feelgood satisfying soulfood. 🧡

Taste even better than the ones in KL. Noodles are thick and full of flavours. So delicious. Huge portion. Excellent service. Was struggling to use FavePay but thank you for being patient with us . Hidden gem in Bedok 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!
