Been here since our teenage years. Great spot for Indian food, be it dining in or takeaway. It does get crowded on weekend mornings and the service can be pretty slow then, so try to avoid peak hours.

Only came here for prata and teh halia…shiok. Service does get very slow when they are busy so come during off peak. Egg prata price is now $2.00 🙀 halal neighborhood restaurant

Today I have mutton rice asked worker to put little extra piece. They charged $ 11.50 price. Which is ridiculous for the meal. They gave only curry apart one vegetable which is smelly and useless appalam. I mean not puffy. When I asked why are you charging this much simple answer for the extra piece. Day light robbery. When I asked for the break up they literally showing finger. Just pay or keep the food you ate.

Went here to get some lunch. Got myself the fried chicken briyani and honestly, it was the best one I've had yet. The rice was fragrant and well done. The fried chicken was almost similar to the one you'd get from tenderbest. But what surprised me the most was the acar and curry. It was absolutely brilliant.

Workers atitude is so horrible! I wanted to order Prata Tissue and they rejected my request as they told me they were busy with so many customers orders. And can't even make 1 piece of prata tissue 🙄 then after 15 mins sitting at the table while my family's food finished, I tried my luck again to order Prata Tissue as most of the customers has leave the makan place, they accepted my order. How pathetic that is. And im complaining about prata tissue overall. Hahahaha

Located in the community hub of the area with plenty of parking available. Thosai is very well done, crispy around the edges, light and fluffy when you get into the middle. Accompanying sauces are pretty good pairs well with the bread. Fried fish looks unappealing but the marinate and flavour is spot on. Fresh, crispy outside and moist meat when you tear it open.

The mamak stall in Yishun offers an authentic prata experience with an extensive variety to choose from. While the options are plentiful and flavorful, the downside is the lack of ventilation, making it a bit warm inside. Expect a bustling atmosphere, as it's consistently packed. Despite the heat and crowd, the delicious prata selection makes it worth the visit for those seeking an authentic taste of mamak cuisine.

I'm not sure is the workers' attitude or lack of ingredients .. We were there to get our supper last night. Ordered mee goreng.. Maggi goreng.. Fried rice.. Sup kambing and nasi briyani. Mee goreng had nothing in it.. Just plain noodles with dark soya sauce.. Not even a stripe of beansprouts or vege..not even with sambal.. N yet tasteless at all.. We all were very very surprised n dissatisfaction with the food. Eat halfway n end up in dustbin chute. Haven't mentioned that each of the food was priced at 5-6 each. Sorry to say even hawkers economic noodles looks n taste better. Sup kambing was just spiced with water, only 4pieces of small cut of meat in the Sup..n not to mention was full of grease. Chicken Briyani rice just don't feel like it..to cut the bad time short.. Too harsh to say.. We hope you may cheat us that night... But hope that others will take note. That's our first and last. Next time we definitely go for McD. Thanks

1. The Thosai is a must to try 2. Get the fried chicken, another best food to go with your makan set 3. Indian Rojack is another must try. The gravy is solid

Summary: Just skip this place if you can. Ordered Maggie goreng on a Saturday evening, about 530pm. Initially nobody wanted to take my order but they were cheery. Then after ordering, we waited and waited…. Food came at about 6pm, not kidding. We were joking are they cooking Maggie goreng or Buddha jump over the wall 🤣🤣 Then came the food and it was seriously meh. Very salty, although ingredients was okay. A sunny side up with few cubes of chicken and some strands of veg. $5.50 for one of the worse Maggie goreng I’ve ever had. Many people in the kitchen area but no one cooking. Almost ordered prata but saw that their prata were just served from a plastic box and straightaway drizzled with curry. Not fresh and not warm.

Food is perfect, egg isn't cooked to drippy consistency. Atmosphere is great to hang out and talk together with friends late at night. But what caught me off was the poor service. My friend ordered two pieces roti prata, friend 2 ordered fried rice, I ordered fried Maggi. Friend 2's fried rice came first, followed by mine. Friend 1's roti prata did not arrive, but we didn't thought much of it. But after abt 20 minutes of waiting, he asked the waiter for his roti prata. He claimed he 'got his order' and told him that it's on the way. 15 minutes later and it did not arrive. Eventually, he cancelled the order. Service could be better given this is a 24/7 restaurant.

Staff taking order very rude. I request not to put sauce n cucumber in my mee goreng but he says he doesnt understand my request and just walk off. Of course he is not the cook. Just want him to relay to the cook. Very rude n no wonder the other indian muslim businesses nearby overtook them though syed is there for decades.
