Situated at Bukit Gombak and jammed between a few other restaurants, Habib has made a name for themselves. Wanted to makan dishes and so we decided on Habib. My sis loves this place for their butter naan and normally when I'm here, I would just almost always have individual dishes. However today was different decided to try individual dishes and boy it was a smart choice. Sambal Petai, Black Pepper Beef, Sambal Sotong and Beancurds were all super sedap lah! Delicious!!!! Simple mouth watering. I can't gush enough on how good it was. And the portion size was absolutely fair. I don't care if I sound bias but it really was that good. And service timing was also on point. Maybe it was off peak but we had our drinks in less then 10 minutes and another 10 minutes all our orders were served. My only grouse would be that a clearer instructions about the ordering process and the clearing if tables be put in place. All in all, I would definately be here again and hopefully they keep up to their standards! Pls do not falter or regress cause that would be absolutely disappointing. Must try halal beef bak kut teh at this muslim family restaurant located at Bukit Gombak The claypot style bak kut teh is very herbal and is better than most chinese versions. They also give big chunks of beef You can opt for bee hoon option Around $8 for a big portion Also must order their sambal stingray. For $15 comes quite big and very meaty. Loved the spice as well! This Hong Kong Mee which for me the taste just right not that delicious or superb. Same goes for Nasi Goreng Kampung and Tom Yum Mee. Only Teh Tarik is nice.

I always buy food here for cheat days 😁 I love it. The foods are delicious. Well served, hot, friendly staff. I also tried ordering and they are quick to make assistance when there's need to address. I recommend this place to visit and a must restaurant in Bukit Gombak to try. You won't regret it.😉

If you're looking for a delicious and filling meal, then Habib Family Restaurant is the place for you. This family-owned establishment is known for its delicious Bak Kut Teh made of beef and mutton, which every foodie in the area should try. The menu is full of tempting options, but the Bak Kut Teh is the real star of the show. The broth is rich and flavourful, with a perfect balance of spices and herbs. The beef is tender and juicy, while the mutton adds depth and complexity to the dish. All in all, Habib Family Restaurant is a must-visit if you're a fan of Bak Kut Teh or just want to enjoy a delicious meal.

This restaurant is the 1st Halal establishment that I know that introduces the Beef Kut Teh to the muslim community in Singapore. Over the years the flavours have not changed a bit and the soup is so refreshing and not with a overpowering of herbal fragrant & taste. Not too salty either but just nice for me. Though, the soup is good and beef is tender, the amount of meat, to some maybe, too little and soup is too much. Serve with sambal, I think, belacan and white rice. We also ordered Beef Claypot Rice and its is also 1 of my favourite here. The portion is a lot for the rice, sauce & beef but a bit too salty because it also have salted fish in the sauce and the burnt bits the bottom of the claypot is the best part and to not get too burnt you must scrap and mix the rice with sauce etc, as soon as it is served. Sambal Kangkong is a must as side dish and the portion for small is generous and delicious. Well balanced flavours.

The first time we had our meals here. The place is quite crowded. It's a sign of good food. We ordered Beef Claypot rice, Seafood Hong Kong Bee Hoon noodles, and the Tarik. We would say the foods are flavourful and the portions are quite generous. The Teh Tarik is delicious. We ordered Nasi Goreng Salted Fish for takeaway. Overall is satisfactory 👍👍... Will surely come back.

Having been a patron of this establishment since its inception, I've witnessed numerous changes over the years, particularly in the service department. However, my recent visit left much to be desired. While a "self-service" and "return-tray" system might be fitting for bustling hawker centers or food courts, its implementation in a "restaurant" setting, especially one with a substantial service staff, raises eyebrows. During my visit, I observed elderly couples struggling to navigate the space, forced to fetch their own beverages from the counter and clear their tables post-meal. This departure from traditional restaurant service norms felt incongruent and lacked the personal touch that distinguishes a dining experience. While some may argue that such practices are becoming standard, I beg to differ. In essence, what matters most to me is service with genuine care and attentiveness, qualities that seem to have been overlooked in favour of efficiency.

Service sucks . Order at 5.57 pm after half and hour still not cook yet. Ask twice was told to wait for the beeper, third time ask counter staff than saw cockles been taken from the fridge. For goodness sake please have someone to look into it.😡😡😡
