This brand is perfection. Staff sells the menu in a way that is not just beneficial to the company, but also to their customers. The founder of Chic-a-boo takes the term "western concept" to a literal and whole new level (by local standards). The size of the burger is the size of a Dutchman (6'10 is the biggest I have come across), chicken is juicy, spicy and tender (one of the best in my opinion), cheese fries is just alright. It's considered very cheap going by the portion, and it's family-friendly too (spotted a whole stack of baby chairs).

Always excited to try never tried before fried chicken and decided to order it despite a very extensive menu. Ordered the hot and spicy flavour which wasn't as nice as I would expected it to be, There isn't really a 'hot' or 'spice' tasting, and really not sure what they used in the marinade. It was like a hint of spicy and that's all. The chicken skin and meat were also quite dry. Or maybe I should have ordered the original flavour or some other items on the menu instead.

It wasn't the same on the menu cause the picture shown was small/regular size burger... But wow it is actually big and the price is quite reasonable! Is not oily and you can feel the crispy texture when you take a bite! It's well fried to perfection! Hope they'll release many different sauces to let us dip their fried chicken (>w

3 Piece Chicken with Cream of Chicken Soup and Curly Fries and 2 Piece Chicken with Onion Rings and Curly Fries 🍜 Food wise: In my opinion, it is on par with KFC, the tenderness, crispiness and texture. The chicken was served hot too! Flavour wise, I think this might lose out a bit? The winning factor here is that they have two side dishes while KFC has 1. Yet quantity might not mean quality, the side dishes were just slightly warm and taste wise can be improved. ✨ Ambience wise: The same vibe as one gets in an Aston restaurant, excitement of eating western in a restaurant 🤵🏻 Service wise: Great! Even though they are really busy. 💵 Price wise: $10.90 and $8.90 for 3 pieces and 2 pieces set respectively

Food 4/5 Price 3/5 Service 3/5 Overall 4/5 The chicken is tender, but is about the same as KFC's, only with different breading on it. Had the cheese fries as well, which is comparable to the KFC nachos cheese fries. Price is fairly okay, similar to Aston's prices given that this restaurant belongs to Aston's group. Service is average. More self-service in this restaurant where you have to collect your prepared food from the kitchen window. May return again if I have cravings for this specific chicken, otherwise I may visit other fast food restaurants.

An alternative to the epitome fried chicken offered by KFC. Efficient operation, plus point on the nice hot fried chicken that does not give you the feeling of death chicken. Ie. Chicken is being left on the shelf for so long that you feel that it's pretty stale when it's served. The side dish that comes with it is remarkable. Excellent place to have a cheap decent meal.

Ordered their Baked rice, portion was REALLY small & pathetic, even smaller than kids portion. See the photos for size comparison with my iPhone 11. Taste was so so.

📢 #ChicABooReview: Just had the best chicken fry experience at Chic A Boo in City Square Mall, Singapore! 🍗✨ From the moment I walked in, I knew it was going to be a great first-time visit. Here's why you should check it out: #DeliciousDelights: The 2-piece combo I ordered was a complete winner! The chicken fry was freshly cooked and had no visible excess oil. Every bite was bursting with flavor, leaving me wanting more. #CrispyAndTasty #SatisfyingSides: The combo also came with 2 sides, and I chose the Cream of Chicken soup. Oh, my taste buds rejoiced! It was an absolute delight, creamy and flavorful in every spoonful. Definitely a must-try. #SoupLoversParadise #CurlyFryCrush: The curly fries that accompanied the meal were a hit too! Crispy, golden, and perfectly seasoned. They added an extra touch of deliciousness to the whole experience. #FryPerfection #FreshnessMatters: I couldn't help but notice the attention to detail in Chic A Boo's cooking. The chicken fry was incredibly fresh, and the absence of any excess oil made it even more enjoyable. You can taste the quality in every bite. #FreshAndFlavorful #FriendlyVibes: The staff at Chic A Boo were warm, welcoming, and attentive. They made sure my visit was pleasant and ensured I had everything I needed. Kudos to their excellent customer service! #HospitalityMatters Overall, my first experience at Chic A Boo was a memorable one. Had their fried chicken set with 2 side dishes. Chicken is well seasoned and nicely fried. Coleslaw is a bit too sweet for my liking, but still tasty. TCO salad is generally ok. Service is good. Friendly staff.

First time trying the Best fried chicken in Singapore. $9.80 nasi lemak has so much ingredients, prawns and whole egg. $6.90 korean fried chicken is much better than 4👆. Love the chicken decor

I tried this Tumeric Nasi Lemak at Chic-a-boo at City Square Mall. The rice came together with a large piece of fried chicken, 2 sticks of ebi fry, cucumber and hard boiled egg. I thought that the rice was tasty and portion was adequate. Costs $9.80, together with a soft drink. Shop unit is a little small and sometimes not easy to get seats. As it was during lunch time, the shop was a little noisy.

Side dishes are very small specially fries and wedges, they said it’s 100gms but never mention in the menu. Also chicken fillets are very small and dry. In addition to the rude attitude of the stuff and the manager (zero service knowledge) Also the place is not clean especially under the tables.

Pretty decent western fast food specialising in fried chicken. Chicken that I had seems fresh and portion is just nice.

Original chicken is too dry and saltish for me. The fried fish is ok. The sides are also average what you'd expect. Overall quite ok just under $10 for this set including a drink.

Visited Chic-a-boo at City Square Mall for lunch on a Friday. While the mall was fairly quiet, the restaurant had a long queue! Despite the line, the cashier remained pleasant and calm, which I really appreciated. The wait was manageable - I collected my food in less than 10 minutes, which is impressive considering the number of orders. I opted for the $9.80 2-piece set, which comes with two pieces of chicken (though you can't choose the parts), two sides, and a drink. It's excellent value for money. The chicken itself was juicy but the spicy batter turned out to be milder than expected. Overall, I had a very positive experience at Chic-a-boo and would definitely recommend it for a quick and tasty lunch.
