The food was a total disappointment. Used to enjoy their food. Ordered mee kuah. The gravy come out with PINKISH color instead of red. The meat at the mutton chop was so hard! The only nice thing is their teh tarik. Just curious… why do they hang “stone” and whats look like “amulet”?

I am an avid customer to this outlet for years. Now, their cooking is just disappointing. Was hoping that their food will get better but, its getting worst. This is a piece of uncooked chicken. UNCOOKED. Just disappointing. And the pricing is ridiculous for something that is not even done properly. Hope they can improve on their food & customer service better.

I just bought some takeaway pratas from the store 30 minutes ago. And found out a small insect after finishing the mutton curry. That’s gross. About 0.5mm insect? Doesn’t look like spices. Such a disappointment!

Ordered Nasi Goreng with Mutton. 6 sing dollars. If add egg, another 1 SGD. Tea tarik is 1.30. I didn't say Putih, so I guessed that was why I got the standard bright red Nasi Goreng ? The dish was too salty. Amount of mutton was not a lot. The place was small and frequently you would smell smoke as the people sitting outside there tended to smoke openly and the store didn't bother to enforce. Even though they claimed to be CDC vouchers compatible, cashier said it is either the voucher or cash. They do not accept toping up with cash. Overall it was an average experience

Used to be nice, now it's prices are ridiculous $2.90 for a small cup of Milo, tables are not cleared regularly or automatically, no longer have a table service order(must order at counter). Most importantly food quality sucks. Just eat at the 7-11 beside, it's nicer and cheaper.

Used to come here a lot but after some years of not coming here, utterly disappointed. $8 for mutton chop (see pic) - fries dried and overcooked, meat is tough, amount is quite pathetic. We found hair in the maggi goreng and under the fried egg but when we highlighted to the staff, we were gaslighted and they insisted it was our hair (none of us have hair that looks like the one on the fork - literally pulled out hair when we tore the egg open). Questionable hygiene, so gross.

I've been a loyal patron of this establishment for over two decades now, and it holds a special place in my heart. Fondly known as the "Corner" due to its strategic location at the street's end, this gem never fails to deliver. Despite the prices having risen by 40% since my first visit, the quality and flavors of their food remain exceptional. It's no exaggeration to say that this eatery still stands as one of the best indian-muslim experiences in Tampines. The staff's polite and attentive service further enhances the dining experience, making every visit feel like a warm reunion. On my latest trip, I indulged in their Thai Maggi Goreng, which proved to be a rich and flavorful delight. Complemented perfectly by their refreshing Teh Cino Ice, the entire meal came to a reasonable total of $10. If you're in Tampines and craving a satisfying meal in a cozy environment, this spot is an excellent choice. It's not just a restaurant; it's a corner of culinary history where memories are made and flavors are savored.

Food was disappointing. Maggi goreng was too wet, $6.50 for mutton maggi goreng, very little vegetable, non existent egg in it. Staff was impolite, he simply pointed at a “counter” where no one was stationed at when we wanted to place our order as he walked by. Food was also slow. 1 guy cooking when there when about 5 tables were full. Will never visit again. Horrible experience.

Once upon a time, Haji Kadir Food in Tampines was my absolute favorite place to dine. They were known for maintaining exceptional food quality. However, I must express my deep disappointment because the food quality has taken a nosedive recently. My latest order, the mutton chop, was a real letdown. The meat was excessively tough and overcooked, a far cry from its former glory. Even the sauce lacked the delightful flavor it once had. And don't get me started on the fries – they were unbelievably soggy. Sadly, this isn't an isolated incident. It's been happening for months now, and it pains me to see such a decline. I want to remind the owner that we're customers, we deserve a better dining experience.

Their maggie goreng is CRAZY. You know how Hokkien Mee tastes extra saucy when it's wet? Haji Kadir's maggie goreng is SAUCY. Adding the pattaya was icing on the cake. It's not too expensive (I think it was $6-8) one of the best I've eaten!! (PS, other nice maggie gorengs: Novena's Sutha's, West Coast's Niqqi's)

DISAPPOINTING! Decided to try the Mutton Chop but was shocked to learn that the price is $8????? With the portion and ugly presentation, it looked more like a $5 meal. Fries seemed like they re-fry 3-4 times as it is very soggy, mutton tasted awful, egg doesn’t look appetising. I will not come back!

Impolite cashier and serving staff, Long waiting time though no customers, Dirty utensils served covered in white water, I can only assume it’s prata flour. Came by because the nearby Prata shop was closed but really wanted Prata. I’ve came to this shop before a few times(2 years ago)but it was never this bad. Will not come back again. Went to wait by the cashier for about 3 minutes until I got a hold of the staff walking by. They looked like they were cleaning up the place so I politely asked if they were still open. Once given a yes, I asked if they still served prata because previously when I was here, there were several times where they told me it’s too late at night, no more prata to be made. The cashier, after asking what I wanted to order, turned to another customer and handled them first, one after another with me beside him. That’s pretty rude, and the way he walked past me and was doing his things just felt that they didn’t even want to serve me at all. Anyways I ordered the food, 2 kosong prata 2 egg prata. Waited 15-20 mins from 2am, no other customers showing up to order food, only 1 other table received like a pratas. Not sure what was going on but we waited quite awhile. When the food came, the server was rude as well when he passed the food to us. The utensils had white water on it and honestly made it feel super unappetizing. I had a towel on me so I wiped it off and ate it after a few minutes. The prata was average but the curry was below average. Honestly after this experience, I don’t know why anyone would want to come here. Come at your own discretion but I don’t recommend coming here. For the staff, I don’t know if you’re going through something but, I wish you could be more polite. If you don’t want to serve your customers, it might be better to just say you’re closed.
