Queue starts by 1130am and while the space isn’t too big, the staff are always there to help with finding a table and cleaning up quickly after diners leave to allow for a quick turnaround time. Food is decent and it shows by the amount of people lining up throughout lunch time.

I stay near PLQ and have been visiting Red Ginger many times. Value for money place for meals and I recommend to come here. I paid 10 bucks for a generous portion of Nasi Padang (huge drumstick with egg omelette and vege) + iced kopi C. If without the iced kopi C, my big plate of Nasi Padang costs 7+ bucks sitting in air con PLQ shopping mall. Pricing is reasonable I feel (considering the location and comfort) and their food is tasty! I always return to red ginger

Penang kway teow is good. Mee goreng a bit too salty. Overall is good we bought the Nasi lemak takeaway. Many people ordered the Nasi with ingredients. It must be good

Had the breakfast nasi lemak set with kopi C kosong at $4 which is very affordable for a filling meal. Service was fast but maybe too fast till when I told her that i also wanted to add coffee for the set the female staff who was serving the meal didn't reply me. But the male staff wearing black just quickly made my coffee without double checking with me or at least reply. Then when it was my turn, I told him I wanted kopi C kosong then his face turned black and complained saying I ordered coffee now wanna change to C kosong which he already made. But I told him the lady serving me didn't even hear my order as she went to prepare the nasi lemak. Nv apologize or say anything. Just redo the coffee and collected payment. The rice didn't have much coconut fragrance n flavor in it. Quite plain tasting. The ingredients were ok like otah and omelette. Many tables had plates not yet cleared. Thought they could have cleared it quicker.

Good Nasi Padang. Spicy chicken is decent level of spiciness, enjoyable not painful. Lemak rice tastes rich. Ample food portion, enough for a filling lunch. Affordable price for a shop inside the mall whilst providing good quality and top class taste. 10/10 recommend

the people around me keep saying that the food here at red ginger is good. Happened to be in paya lebar and there’s an outlet! Came before 10am there wasn't much crowd. And i can say that taste-wise, its legit! feel like a homecook meal. Yum! will comeback to try other dishes.

Generally good value with a wide spread of dishes and ample seating. Very popular and has a Q constantly. Best dish for me was Ikan Pari Assam Pedas. Ayam Merah was a little too sweet for my liking.

Service was prompt and order was easy. Ordered curry fish head set that came with a vegetable dish, rice and papadom. Staff was alert and attentive to suggest if a change in table was needed. I appreciate that attention and gesture. Fish head was fresh, good fish. Gravy was flavorful but not too spicy. Sambal goreng was excellent, they have something added that made it much better than other places. Good place for a meal!

The mixed rice which is same like nasi padang is okay, decent. But there’s other that is nicer. Chilli is limited , even already asked more chilli. The snack kue loepis is the star there, which is nice with a good amount of gula melaka. It always nicer when the place more generous with chilli, and better service, memorable. Place is crowded , good to go earlier during lunch time

My favourite place to get my fix of Nasi Padang and Mee Rebus. Always maintains its quality. I like their rendang. Tender, chewy and perfectly cooked. Ask for curry. For those who can take spicy, their sambal is just amazing. Mee Rebus is also one of the best, if not the best. The sauce is tasty and blends perfectly with the noodle. the meal offered me such warmth and comfort 👍 Definitely will come back and fully recommended !

Probably the worst Penang fried kuey teow and Nasi Pattaya that we have ever eaten. Totally no wok hey at all. Not even close to the name of food they offered. A total disgrace to the original version What a waste of money?
