When Google says that it closes at 8pm, I would hope that they actually do close at 8pm. Instead, after reaching at 7pm to order takeaway, they stated that they won’t be taking anymore orders. So instead of listing the closing time as 8pm, I would hope that they change it to 7pm instead to save other people’s time.

You are spoilt of choices at Raffles Place. Avoid this one at all cost. The staff is UNBELIEVABLY RUDE. Check other reviews, for real.. Not sure who the hell she thinks she is, treating customers the way she did. I specifically stated "bungkus" which means take away. Got it dine in. Asked politely for a change. She retaliated by muttering offences and claimed I did not specify when she asked. Which I did even before she ask, which by the way SHE DID NOT. Lie lie lie. Sigh, I can take some rudeness cos everyone is entitled for a bad day.. but not blatant false accusation, glaring (swear her eyes gonna pop out), and her yapping non stop. Over such simple matter, ffs. Food is not even that good, or maybe she just ruined the whole mood. The worst lunch time in CBD ever..

I had the chicken satay for dinner. Price $7.20 for 2 skewers, looked pricey. But, look again! It came with a lot of rice, BIG chunks of chicken skewers drenched in peanut sauce, 2 fried tofu, 2 slices of cucumber, lettuce, crackers (kerupuk bawang) and sambal! The only drawback was that the chicken was missing the grilled aroma of the usual Indonesian satay.

I had a bad experience last week having the grilled fish from here (dine - in). I ended up getting a really bad episode of food poisoning from that. The fish triggered bad vomiting and diarrhoea. My colleagues who had other items on the menu didn't have any issue. But I won't be visiting here again.
