I ordered one piece of carrot cake and three pieces of samosa. The total price was $2.90; I paid with fave. The carrot cake was rather plain and I felt that it could've been tastier. The samosa, on the other hand, was pretty good. I would go back for more. I went there on a Saturday morning and there were around six people in the queue. That's already considered a short queue for dough culture, because the queue is usually super long at other times of the day (e.g. more than 11 people). Nearest MRT: Serangoon. It's really close to the circle line exit.

2x Liao. 3/4 pure starch filled tau suan and 1/4 beans…if you are lucky to find…😕…This time remembered to take pics. DC need to do some sanity check at nex outlet, no supply of mung beans or what ?

There wasn't any queue and I was there waiting for any of the 3 staff to take my order. NONE. All 3 just looked at me and continue doing what they're doing. Left without buying.

Please do something about the lady manager ( the one in black polo t shirt) that is on duty today 23/07/2022 around 3.40pm at NEX branch today. Many reviews on her bad attitude and the way she treats the other cashier lady is definitely unacceptable. Scolding the cashier lady infront of other customers calling her a dog is definitely unacceptable Very disappointed at the way the manager treats the other employees. Hope to see improvements on the next visit and please treat this issue seriously Thank you!

Terrible supervisor saw she scolding the staff rudely shouting and hitting the table to an old lady, name Sally or something. The company need to teach this barbarian how to have a good team work.

Bought tao suan from rivercourt, hougang. The tao suan was total cold! The you tiao was also cold and hard. I couldn't heat up the tao suan as I was outside. I try to eat as not to waste money...

Good place to get your fix of Singaporean fried food. Of note the 油条. However the quality seems to have dropped somewhat recently.

Very disappointing snack store. The You Tiao was cold and slightly tough to bite, signifying that it has been on the shelf for quite some duration. Make sure to ask for a freshly fried one if you do want to purchase it. The curry puff was quite disappointing too. While the crust was well seasoned and made, the fillings were subpar to other curry puffs sold in Singapore. The oil used to deep fry the snacks also look stale. At least the price of the food is reasonable for a quick bite.

This is place is one my favourite for a quick bite, sometimes I miss this place if I'm not in Singapore. The service is also generally very good. Shows how much the company emphasize food quality and service. Well done. And they keep coming with new items to try.

Very disappointed rushing and no que when I was there I order rojak this morning the cashier already inform auntie 1 rojak.. but the auntie wearing spec still continue talking to the young girl of there personal things When this auntie throw her rabbish I already inform her my order but she still taking her sweet time and inform cashier I was gg to be late..I ended waste my timing.. she purposely slow and take her time to do my order Very very disappointed in early morning...

There was a long queue. 1 staff member was taking orders as well as payment. The other staff, instead of helping, was arranging the food irems. Seriously? Why not help out by taking orders? Another staff, possibly making the dough, was just standing, doing nothing. Again, why can't this staff help out taking orders to ease the queue? Waited too long as there was an issue with another customer's payment, so I left.

Tau Suan is full of beans n not too sweet. Takeaway only. Best w you tiao separately packed . Price is reasonable . Love it
