Ok quality food that overpriced and worst service. We ordered for 2 serving of rendang after initially asking for 1. He added only Half of the other rendang beef. Ridiculous. Picture was also taken to depict how the other half was cut off instead of adding the whole, already small, meat

A good plate of Nasi Padang with great selection of dishes. Most of the dishes are available on daytime and finished during dinner time. Had the chicken with green chili which is not as tender but tasted good. The sambal goreng, begedil, and sayur urap are great too. Came on Saturday lunch time and it was very crowded that we needed to takeaway to eat outside

Fairly good service. I ordered my food at 1.45pm and almost all my dishes were only slightly warm. The cuttlefish was over cooked. Tahu Telor was too sweet in the centre. The fried chicken in sweet spicy sauce was over fried and hard. The batang fish in yellow curry sauce was ordinary. The curry chicken was tender and fragrant. The spicy kang kong and potato patty were yummy. Their belachan chilli was fragrant and yummy. The ondeh ondeh was QQ and quite yummy. The lemak green bean soup was quite yummy but was almost room temperature. It was a pity that Assam Fish was sold out because I would love to try that. I will visit their other branch at Bugis area next time and be there earlier to catch the Assam Fish and try their food at higher temperature.

Had the beef rendang, lemak daun singkong and sambal goreng with sambal belacan on the side and teh tarik to wash it all down. The food here is significantly better than Sari Ratu, Warung M. Nasir and Warung Nasi Pariaman and marginally better than Sabar Menanti. Hajjah Maimunah is still "it" for me currently. Rumah Makan Minang does lemak daun singkong very well, along with teh tarik which tasted perfect to me. The sambal belacan was spot on in flavour but the texture was much too fine, almost like a thick sauce. The beef rendang was rich in flavour but over-salted and the beef was tough and very chewy despite having been scissor-cut. The sambal goreng was too sweet and lacked fragrance but was otherwise sufficiently tasty. To its credit, RMM is generous with its rempah and everything looked and tasted sufficiently tumis-ed. Many nasi padang places cut the rempah frying time short and this shows in the flavour, aroma and texture of the rempah, resulting in dishes that taste and smell like "rempah mentah". I hope RMM will improve on these minor but no less important issues and not dumb down the flavour profile of their dishes to cater to diners who prefer a less spicy and sweeter flavour profile. These people should just go eat dessert.

Delicious Botok botok ( fish with vegetables in banana leaf wrapped and steamed) my mom's favourite. Tahu telor my hubby's favourite, Spicy samball sotong kering kembang my favourite. Lodeh, beef rendang, terong belado, fish ball soup, begedil etc etc. Bubur kacang, kue kue Melayu and Teh Tarik too. If you have a function they do catering too. Eateries like this make your meal planning easy as you can do other stuff.

I think this place is overrated. Big fan of Malaysian food tapi this one was just not it.

This is my must-go to place for Lontong, Gado Gado and Teh Peng fix. Prices are affordable and the staff have good service too. The nasi Padang may be on the pricier side but certainly tastes good.

It is pricey compared to other nasi padang stalls in the east but well-worth your money. Every dish I ordered was super tasty and the beef rendang was SHIOK! They have a huge selection so I’ll be coming back to try the other dishes. Front plate pictured cost me $13

Jul 2023 We had been back a few times, but this was the first time we did not order sharing plates. For two individual plates - rice with beef rendang, bergedil and omelette, and the other with sotong, begedil and sambal goreng - as well as a hot tea o and an iced tea 0, the price of $24.60 was a huge surprise. Previously, even with sharing plates of beef rendang, 2 bergedil, sotong, eggplants with sambal, 2 drinks and 2 iced tea o, the price was around $19 and $21. Food was good though. Mar 2019 Went for dinner and the taste was good but portions were really small. We had the sambal brinjal, one piece of beef rendang, one curry chicken drumstick and two bergedil with rice and two iced teas, all for $19. ———- Like their tahu telor but only managed to buy it once out of three times as it is very popular. The food is tasty, particularly the beef rendang. Service is usually friendly and staff does help in bringing the food and drinks to your table. Ordering is rather haphazard and sometimes takes too long, as customers in front take their time to select dishes. Then there is another slight hold up at the cashier’s station, as drinks are also ordered at that time.

This is very good nasi padang! I had sambal goreng, spinach, and ayam mesak merah. Chicken was really juicy and the gravy was just the right amount of sweet and savoury. A generous amount of chilli was given when asked. And it hit the spot. Just wish they served sambal chilli too. Teh halia was amazing too! It's a cozy little spot tucked away at a little corner of the B1 of Tampines Hub. Quite a lot of people patronizing, and deservingly so. Thumbs up!

Ever since Hjh Maimunah Mini Tampines Mall opened, competition heated up between these two stores. Both are equally good but I think Minang has an edge on the taste side. HOWEVER, the only thing is I cannot understand why is NASI PADANG so expensive... Pic as shown is $9.50.. I wonder if anyone can afford to have $10 cai peng everyday? 😴

Admittedly the price is on the high side but then again it's typical for nasi padang fare. We love the great tasting dishes and you can talk from the complex taste and texture that much effort is put into the spices and food preparation. Hence I feel the prices are worth it.

One of the best padang restaurant in the Tampines. Neat arrangement of foods, efficient food process, good variety of foods and the most important is all the foods generally are delicious! Can only pay by cash, nets - cannot by credit card.

Ordered dishes to share and more variety to try. Chicken was tender and the fish curry was good. Overall is good but the dish abit cold and price at higher side so give 4 star.

Always been a supporter at the branch in Kandahar, but recent visit was a disappointment to the taste. Decided to try this branch yesterday. I was the 5th in line at 10.45am and realised no one servicing the 1st in line for a while. Many staffs were around but they were busy preparing and packing food likely from deliveries. Finally the 1st was serve but it took a long time (not that they ordered many times) and there were no other staff available to take other order. I kept peeping in and there were no sense of urgency therfore very inefficient i must say. As the 2nd and 3rd were finally served, i noticed no one was at the cashier for them to pay either. And and when it was finally my turn, they were still waiting to make payment and yes i had to wait for the payment as well. The cashier came and collect one payment and walked elsewhere and we waited again. When its my turn, the cashier was also taking his own time, checking grab orders but with no sense of urgency. Despite being 5th on line, it took me 25 mins to finally leave. And yes long queue was building up. Part due to Sunday and popularity but definitely part of being very inefficient. Hope they can do better

Jan 2024 Back here for lunch, and it was an expensive and rather disappointing meal. The eatery was as popular and the queue took us about 25 minutes before we could order our food. There were two servers, but one was mainly dealing with packing online orders. There were also other diners who cut into the cashier's line as they were picking up kueh kueh and drinks, thus also adding to the time. The beef rendang was nice and slightly overly spicy, but the meat was quite tough. We liked the chicken in the light coconut gravy, as well as the sambal brinjal. The bergedils could have been cooked a little longer. For me, the sambal goreng was lousy. Price this time, including a tea kosong and a tea, was $29, a large increase over the previous time, and without sotong as well. Charges $0.70 for sambal belacan for 1 pax plate. Gotten my refund as I wasn’t told about the charge. Always check your receipt. Food is very good.
