Man, let me start with this. This place has a wall of fame adorned with pictures of (what I assume to be) people who have finished their spiciest level of chicken challenge. These people faces are captured holding a full plate of food with a big smile in their face. I bet my bottom dollar they ain’t looking like that at the end of the challenge. I’ve tried their chili. Their scale goes from 1 to 25, and the highest I ever dared to attempt was a 7. Well, it didn’t go well, it felt like my face was melting. So, I decided to play it safe and go for a 5 instead. Guess what? It still burned my face off! I actually enjoy spicy food, but I don't want it to feel like I’m making out with the devil. I just want to relish and savor my food. Sometimes, I question whether this place has a proper method to measure spiciness accurately. This is based solely on my own spicy scale experiences. Nonetheless, this place is absolutely amazing. The chicken is tender, succulent, and practically falls apart with every bite. The skin remains delightfully crispy even after the sambal is slathered on top, and the rice is consistently cooked to perfection. I must admit, I'm head over heels for their three different sauces. The OG red one is the only sauce where you get to choose the spicy level, and it never disappoints. Then there's this unassuming white onion sauce that secretly steals the show, in my opinion. However, today I went with the green sauce because, well, I just didn't want to set my face on fire, but I still wanted a hint of that fiery kick. Now, here's a little request for the wall of fame at this place. How about taking pictures of people's faces not only before they embark on the challenge but also after they emerge victorious? I mean, seriously, I refuse to believe they are still alive and kicking after devouring level 25! It would be quite a sight to witness the transformation from brave contender to fiery conqueror, don't you think?

The Papa Ayam box was pretty shiok. It’s got both indomie and plain rice (not fragrant or anything), crispy chicken skin, keropok, and their signature boneless crispy fried Chicken Geprek drenched in original Sambal. Level 5 felt like chicken rice chilli. Spicy enough but I believe I can do level 7-10. I would also have preferred if they packed the Sambal separately and not drench the crushed fried chicken in it. Should keep the chicken crispy. Deliciously moist and flavorful by the way. The Satay Taichan although plain looking was also tasty. Nothing over the top here. All good. The star of the show have to be the Sambal chilli. Overall surprisingly quite shiok.

Not bad! Got the level 7 chilli and it packs a punch! Face sweating already! I think for most people, can try at much lower levels. Spice level goes all the way up… Ordered the indo mee ayam geprek… the batter could be crispier but taste and quantity was ok 👍🏻 Also tried the satay… not bad! Good got a quick meal and dapao!

The spice level is only 5 out of 15 but it’s really hot, at least for a typical singaporean. I guess 5 would be a good spice level, anything higher would burn! Chicken is good, rice is fragrant. Great Indonesian cuisine! Tried lv4 spice Ayam geprek indomie and it’s great! Nice crispy chicken with fantastic Indomie as always. Lv4 spice is still spicy!

Got the sambal one. Not sure spice level. Was spicy enough for lips to feel the burn. But was tolerable. Juicy chicken. Could be crispier. $7.70 per portion. I like the rice. Soft and fluffy.
