Decided to visit to celebrate a friend’s birthday to reminisce old times. Alas, the old school charm has departed and many of the memorable items either are not on the menu or taste different. In terms of value for money, this fried chicken and waffles was $15 after tax, and I didn’t think it was worth it.

Food portion is definitely small compare to the price paid. Customer service below par as they couldn't explain properly on our birthday treat redemption. They saw you coming and wanted to ask questions, instead of coming to you, they just walked away!

...had a wonderful dinner. The sirloin steak was so tender and juicy..🥰 Love the Salmon salad too. Service was a bit slow but it's ok, friendly staffs... overall nice place.

Swensen @West Mall Beef Lasagne is one of my favourite dish when I dine in at swensen.Its the best beef Lasagne compared to others restaurant. Calamari Ring is a must as a side dish. Crispy on the outside but so tenders on the inside.paired this two togethers and u won't notice who is sitting beside you😂😂

Not first time visiting and always feel welcomed by their service and crews. without us requesting, they serve small plates for sharing and top up ketchup for us noticing we are eating it fast. While people may take for granted that these are standard service for waiters and waitresses, they serve with grin and greeted us warmly. The shop was quite full and we tried to take selfie ourselves, the staff saw and offer us to take photo without asking. These small little things make up pleasant experience with them. Menu maybe standard but people makes a restaurant unique. :)

Popular outlet during meal times. There’s a Q during evening meal hours so better get there early. Good deals for Swensen’s members. Easy to redeem with app / phone. The 2 manager staff are very friendly and give good service. Very nice to dine there as they made the atmosphere nice. The food was ok, the Philly steak meal was ok, except the onions tastes a bit burnt and fries can be hotter. Price $17.90++ is alright for the restaurant price. The NDP special dry laksa is not bad. It was flavorful but not too spicy. The portion and taste was ok for $15.80++ The Swensen’s ice cream was good. We had peanut chocolate and it was a great choice for us. If you dine here it’s a great choice for families as young & old will be able to find something they like.

Baked rice was good. Small portion but means space is kept for dessert. Cheese if more burnt will be good. Son had fried chicken. Looks good as well as he wants all 3 for himself. Ice cream as expected is good. Pricey during normal times but hey, it's my birthday month. Service here is fast and responsive. Late lunch at 3pm so more time for everything. Remember, get the membership. It's cheaper on the birthday month and you can get a free sundae.

1st pic: West Mall outlet 2nd and 3rd pic: Jurong Point outlet I ordered a medium ribeye steak at both outlets. The difference is drastic. The Jurong Pt one genuinely surprised me, the meat was juicy, easy to cut, chewy and delicious. The one at West Mall definitely was not worth $25++. It was overcooked, TOUGH and DRY. I selected BBQ sauce for both outlets too, but the sauce I received at West Mall tasted like SOS chili sauce. I requested BBQ sauce again, and the waiter passed me the same spicy sauce. The mashed potato is also too dry, the one at Jurong Pt outlet is better. I ordered the same thing at West Mall because I wanted to re-experience how delicious it was at Jurong Pt. Utterly disappointed. Well done (pun intended). Would not come back to the West Mall outlet again. But I don't mind returning to the Jurong Pt outlet. Some of the staff at West Mall branch aren't very warm and friendly either.

Ordered a medium rare steak, 1st came out medium well-well done. 2nd steak came out blue (rawish) but the chef denied said it’s medium rare.

As expected, the place was crowded during dinner time. I am grateful that the staff tried her best to clean up as fast as other custoemrs have left. I frequent Swensen's at West Mall about once a month and like their food and ice cream. My most common order is the grilled fish with sambal sauce. It is juicy and blends well with the sambal. The seafood black pepper wasn't worth it. Overall, if I can avoid peak hours, I would do so. Otherwise, it is still worthwhile to go.

Had ice creams for dessert. Delicious ice creams, cozy ambience & friendly service from the staff. They're also accommodating & explained clearly to me about vouchers to be used in Swensen's 😊

Visited on a weekday afternoon around 1pm. It was reasonably crowded but not terribly so. On telling the staff that served us Mr Yun Yee that it was my mum's birthday, he was very nice and helped us redeem our three free drinks, free ice cream (for birthday month), as well as free firehouse sundae (dining on actual day) - all of us are swensens coolrewards members. Aglio olio was delicious, as well as the chicken in the basket. Mum and dad also liked the coffee. Was a very pleasant meal and ice cream was delicious as usual. A wonderful experience especially because of the store staff (Yun Yee). Thanks a lot

We ordered the fish and chips and the chicken in a basket. The fish was fresh but the portions have grown smaller in recent months 😥 the chicken is also fresh and juicy. Definitely sign up for the free membership because the perks are pretty good!

Came here for their classic curry baked rice and I wasn’t disappointed! It tastes exactly the same like how I remembered it 3 years ago. I went during off peak hours and the service was fast and friendly. I love my neighbourhood Swensens!
