It's the weekend and of course I was out hunting for a a nice place to makan. Googled and it brought me to Gateway at Jurong East. Walked around at the basement and came across Poulet. Nice French-ish inspired restaurant with island and booth seats. We were greeted at the door by a young male wait staff who politely took us to our seats. Prior to that, he took the initiative to ask if we are OK to seat side by side. Not a problem at all as it is the current social distancing situation. We were also given ziploc bags which I assume is to be used to store our mask. Now that's a great initiative. We were then give our menu, a quick guide to the ordering process via the ipad. After a quick glance, we realised that it's mainly chicken ... hehehe .... and of cos we ordered NOT chicken ... hahaha. Instead we opted for the sirloin. My friend had mac & cheese and corn for sides and requested for medium-well and I opted for fries and aglio olio with medium for the sirloin myself. Food arrived about 10mins after. We definitely wasn't disappointed with out steaks cos it was done just right. Slightly charred on the outside and juicy on the inside. Just that my friends was just slightly more done. However, the sauce was a minor point of contention. It seemed watered down, too thin. I still enjoyed my meal though. Oh, we also ordered chicken wings as a starter a sriracha glazed one. It was alright. The staff was bustling around, trying to be attentive and efficient I must say. However, throughout the whole meal, I felt something missing and then it hit me, the whole place was nice and good but it lacked warmth. It didn't seem very inviting and that unfortunately is their minus. The food is one thing but the feeling when a diner steps in is another thing altogether. Other then that, the food, service and environment was nice. Kind of half half about Poulet so probably will visit it again. Nevertheless it was an above average meal. This is our 3rd visit. The food was delivered fast and nice. Mr thomas attended to us promptly and was very friendly. He gave the children biscuits which calmed them down. We had an overall pleasant meal. The food was as usual very nice except the truffle fries. Highly recommended and will come down again to try more dishes.

We came by to celebrate my sisters birthday today. Despite a couple bloopers with our order, I found the service recovery swift and fantastic and without any hassle. Aqmal’s a star. He fronted an amazing attitude while attending to our issues and continued to checked in on us ensuring we were ok. Overall we had a fantastic time with the great service and scrumptious food.

The food and service was excellent.. food was perfectly plated and the taste ever consistently delicious… (really loved the creamy salmon hot pie 🥧). my boys loved their meals, commented on the amazing mashed potatoes…. Lastly, the mango pudding desert was simply to die for…. (Wifey has a sweet tooth) service was great, staff helped us changed seats due to the tight space (had very big neighbours🫨🫨) and was very pleasant. The only downside, not any fault of Poulet or its staff was the annoying voice of a guy on a loudspeaker/mike from the nearby atrium….😵💫😵💫😵💫 luckily it stopped halfway thru our dinner. Once again a great dinner with my family at Poulet🙏🏼🙏🏼🫰🫰👍👍👍👍👍

Food and service is great! Its online the ordering that hits a snag for us. Their system is slow. we thought our order has been entered but apparently we closed our phone while their system is still processing our orders. After waiting for a while and we checked our order, it was not in there system yet. After the snag, our orders were delivered promptly

The chicken pot pie is extremely delicious. the outsiide is crusty, and the inside has mash potatoes mixed with cheese. The beef bolognese and mushroom, truffle risotto is also very tasteful. We had a great time. Great place for dinner dates for couples or friends and family. The staff were very efficient in taking the order, and food didn't take too long to be served.

Always wanted to try pot pie after my last visit to Poulet last month. Today finally tried the salmon pot pie but turned out not to my expectations. I was shocked by the oily cream (as shown in photo). Didn’t managed to finish it as the cheesy and oily taste was overwhelming. However, their signature chicken dish will not go wrong though.

Dropped by on a random weekday during lunch unintentionally with colleagues. Roasted chicken was good with 2 side dishes (salad and Mac & cheese). Ordered onion soup, mushroom soup, pasta and chunky chicken pot pie. Food was ok and serving time was fast.
