Not the best fish and chips out there, coupled with the long waiting time and a buzzer that went on for 15 minutes (meaning I had to be on standby at the stall) - it wasn’t a great experience dining here. The two poor folks were clearly overwhelmed with the orders that’s swarming in, leading to many unhappy patrons waiting at the collection area, not to mention delivery riders too.. They were still polite and apologised to most of us upon collection though. Management needs to step up and improve the situation 📝

Nice big fries and superb mash potatoes. Chicken size looks small but it’s thick and quite filling. Ordered another serving of the mash potato as it was very nice.

Fish and chips had a weird smell. Ordered additional rice and it was terrible. A 4/10 for chicken chop and fish and chips as compared to other nicer western shops.

Ordered a steak knowing full well that kopitiam stores that sells steaks are not amazing as I just wanted a steak that is cooked medium rare, no need for wagyu levels of taste and flavor, just an average normal steak will do. However, the one I got is cooked to the point that it is more than well done, more like congratulations, A+ distinction! The steak was so dry, adding the sauce that was provided did nothing but added saltiness to the taste and it was so hard to cut a piece from the steak and even harder to eat. It was just so chewy and tough at the same time, I did not even know that was possible! Do not get me wrong, the chicken options from this place are GOOD but DO NOT get the steak, I have not tried the lamb so I have no comment for it. I feel this place specializes in chicken but not beef. My rationale is, if you are gonna put a food option on the menu and charge money for it, make it to the standard as the other options that are on the menu. If not, please remove it as it will bring the entire standard of the menu down.
