Ordered three piece chicken, root beer, and waffle with vanilla ice-cream. The fried chicken and curly fries were crispy and flavoursome as usual, but they could only give us chicken wings. I preferred ribs. The waffle was a let down, didn't really go well with the ice-cream and lack the buttery fragrance. Service was efficient.

Was craving for their chicken for quite sometimes, it was always crowded at other outlets but it was no queue at here when I visited for snack around 5pm. I like thier fried chickens, it was crispy eventhough it was thin flour. Their root beer was so refreshing. No ice on their root beer, their glass was cold. It was nice. Only curly fries is available on the menu. It was ok, not that crispy but was good also. Collection of orders were here and there. I collected drink straight away near the counter, waffles behind the counter, and food outside the eating area at their food collection counter. Condiment located at other area also. Was given two beepers for one order, one for waffle and one for food.

....it's free-sitting and quick counter-service....we rec'd our order within 5 mins. The burgers and curly-fries were great. The root-beer not so....it used to be thicker and sweeter...... Overall, a good experience.

Our childhood memories have only a few brands of fast food in Singapore. So when we visit A&W we must order the A&W root beer float. They just return to Singapore for a few years. So grateful to see them again.

Mozza Burger Set (Curly Fries + Root Beer Float) Total was $12.50. Honestly, not a bad meal!! I like the piece of bacon in between the meat patties. 🍔🍟🍺 note to future self: don’t think the extra float (ice cream) was worth it for the root beer.

Waffle was a let-down. It tastes really stale. Not warm. Butter is frozen. I had a hard time trying to melt d butter. Waffle is tasteless without syrup. Cream cheese burger n fried chicken were OK. Fried chicken is quite fatty. Crispy but fatty. Seasoning is good. V original. Root beer is classic, needless to say. Top up $1.20 for meat sauce $1.20 for cheese sauce. Meat sauce is hot, nice. I find it less flavourful than b4. It's v nice of d staff to want to help us clear our tray but there's still food on our tray. I feel disturbed. Since this is a fast food restaurant, just leave us to clear our own trays.

Ordered three Coney Dog combos but when I got home, one box was filled with just cheesy fries. Really disappointing. It's not the same value and yes, I feel cheated. I know it gets busy, but please double check your takeaway items. I don't live in AMK and no, I'm not going all the way back for an exchange

Food not nice. Curly fries too salty root beer too bland. Nothing special about the coney dog and mozzarella burger. When I almost finished my root beer I noticed something at the bottom of my glass. Hope it is not cockroach dropping😨

Got the waffle ice cream with chocolate fudge. The waffle tasted weird. It had a plastic(?) taste to it. The ice cream is the regular ice cream that is served in the root beer float. Chocolate fudge was the only thing ok in the waffle. Hopefully someone will follow up with the quality of the food...

It has been a very long time since I tried this restaurant here in the philippines, the last time was way back when they had the branch in fiesta carnival in cubao before. The cheese burger was really good. The bacon crispness level up the burger. Their signature root beer float never let me down... This was in AMK hub Singapore. The chicken was also good, the taste is similar to popeyes chicken. It was served warmly. This was thursday dinner time and we are very lucky because we got a vacant space immediately, A few minutes later, the lines are starting to build because there were limited tables (space) for dine in.

An American Fast Food that our parents brought us to in the 1980s and we bring them & the kids to in the 2020s for sentimental value. Would prefer the food to be warmer. Enjoy the root beer in ice cold mug most 🍻

I ordered the Mozza double cheese burger set with added options cheese plus chicken sauce and extra scoop of ice cream to the root beer. I like the crispiness of the bacon which gives the burger extra crunch. Overall the burger tasted really good with a good balance of meat and vegetables. I was a little disappointed with the presentation of the Coney fries. I didn't expect to see the cheese and meat sauce packed separately in containers. Sadz. Come on A&W, surely you can do better than this!

The standard dropped drastically and selling at overpriced menu, more expensive than its burger and chicken competitors (McDonald’s, kfc, Popeyes, Texas, tender). The tomato sauce sucks, so light colored as if it was mixed with water. Non of the 2 packs of curly fries were like the good old days, long and curly. It’s all broken pieces of fries, which I call them “curve fries”. Their signature coney dog, is worst value. Normal grocery bun, with a piece of sub-standard sausage, and that beef sauce don’t even have taste, it’s felt like expired minced meat with onions. If you want hotdog bun, I recommend IKEA is much better at least it’s only $1.20. And i don’t understand why they don’t provide mustard sauce. Also, the server don’t want to give me more than 2 little saucer of tomato sauce. Lastly, on the signature root beer float, this is no difference from getting the root beer from supermarket and top up with vanilla ice cream. This is not a place I recommend, unless you are so hungry and there is no queue. The only nice thing is the root beer glass mug use to serve the root beer.

The skin for the fried chicken was crispy and flavourful however the meat was dry and plain. Curly fries was a little soggy. Probably should have tried the burger instead. Love the cold mug for root beer. The price and service was ok. Kinda weird layout for the outlet.

Jan 2024: hope that they would increase the size of the packet of curly fries. There is currently only one size of curly fries. Saw many people eating the fries chicken. Will try again another day!

It has been decade since I last had a meal at A&W. Well, I used to have that during my younger schooling days when it first came to Singapore (the first fast food restaurant then) but over time it closed down and good to see it's return again. During it's absence, I only had the meal in Batam. Well, it was a weekend and the restaurant was quite crowded but we managed to get a table. We ordered the chicken burger, fried chicken with fries, waffles with ice cream and of course, the root beer float. Well, must say that the food were nice and they were well prepared. The meat was tender and juicy. And of the root beer float, a must have, was heavenly. Waffles was nice! Great to have on such warm days. Staff were prompt in clearing and cleaning the table for the next incoming diners. Overall, I enjoyed the meal here as it brought me back fond memories of the past!

My fav childhood fast food. Last time located behind amk. Now it is in the hub which is so convenient to find. And now my kids love it too. But yesterday we already had our dinner somewhere else. But I couldn't forget about grabbing something from A&W. We have ice cream, yeah. And the staff is really really kind and helpful. The ice cream came in 3 scoops. I'm afraid my kids will fight for holding the ice cream. So I requested to put it into different cups. And they allowed it, so helpful... And my kids enjoy it without fighting. 😂 Thank you so much.
