It has been years since I visited Red Ginger at IMM. I am glad that they survived the pandemic. This outlet is on level 1 at IMM. It serves reasonably good Nasi Padang. Customer service is average but hey this is not a Michelin style restaurant so I can cut them some slack. I had the rice with bagedil chicken wing cereal fish and fish cake with curry sauce. The quality is decent and the chili is good. I had the kopi and it is nothing spectacular. One setback is that it is rather pricey. And this may explains why there may be higher expectations on the food. It is good place for a meal at an reasonably pricey rates. Nevertheless go them a try for the food.

Love the flavours of the food here. Strong hints of spices in the chicken curry and the meat is fresh and tender; plus I really like the vegetables - very well cooked and lovely flavours. But do note that the belachan is quite potent (light weight here). Definitely a worthwhile recommend if you're into nasi padang.

Nasi Padang is synonymous with the Malay community and a good one needs to be acknowledged and shared. Was at IMM on the 12 / 02 / 2022 and figuring out what to have for lunch and hey, no need to even think twice Red Ginger it is. You know you gonna have a good meal when you are greeted by the warmest of greetings and smile. And even better, the lady at the counter asked you "Hello you, so long never see you. How are you doing". That gesture made my day. It made me feel so good that somehow amongst the numerous amount of people, she remembered me. Really really good. Made my choice of dishes and got my seat. Boy I was not disappointed as usual. The beef was tender, the veggies were fresh and the tofu was delish. Scrumptious I must say. The restaurant seatings were well spaced out and that's thoughtful. All in all, apart from the good food, the warmth of the kakak at the counter made it all even better. Good Job and highly recommended. Food : 5 / 5 Staff : 5 / 5 Ambience: 4 / 5

The nasi padang is sooooo gooood. I always come all the way to IMM to eat it. They’ve been here since forever >10 years and their standard has been pretty good. Always have it with the nasi lemak and rendang. 😚 Come after 13:30 to avoid the lunch crowd. Plenty of seats!

Always a good place if you're extremely hungry and craving for nasi padang. It never disappoints. The chef will top up the dishes whenever they've ran out at peak periods. We ordered this at 6pm for buka puasa so we didn't mind that the gravy was mixed with the rice. Very generous with the portions as you can see when you order takeaway~ takeaway cost a little extra for the containers. They offer other ala carte meals at a pricier price point, but you will forget the cost after you've tasted it. 👍

Air-conditioned indoor, Halal eaterie located in IMM Mall. Clean with helpful & friendly staff. Serving a scrumptious selection of authentic Malay foods from ready cooked food for the mixed rice/nasi berlauk to soto, mee rebus, mee goreng, nasi goreng and more. Really worth to be waited in line 👍👍👍

Food is not bad. Based on what we ordered, we paid $13.70 for it. Otah Kang Kong drumstick cost $7.

Lontong at Red Ginger has the right punch of chilli and excellent viscosity of the gravy. Grated coconut toppings enhanced the overall taste of this Lontong and this is the part I love most. In fact, I enjoy having my lunch here though it is always a full house at any timing of the day. I assume most patrons love to dine here as there’s a wide spectrum of dish to offer from rice to noodle and even ala Carte dishes that are available after 12:30pm. Crowd is growing fast and service is equally prompt too.

Had takeaway. It’s about $8 per box for 2 veg and 1 meat. Food taste wise, it’s pretty good and consistent (have been ordering over the years)

There's many food choices. The taste is just ok. Bought soto and mee soto with begedil. The begedil is not fresh. Teh C that we ordered is too sweet even when we asked them to lesser the sugar. Plenty of seats. Ample parking area.

So far THE BEST Malaysian / Indonesian cusinie eatery I have ever tasted. Lemak rice, Both Chicken gravy, Assam Pedas Ikan was top notch. The Fish portion was big enough. Bandung tasted very good. Cost is bit pricy comparatively but once we taste the food we will forget that. However The owners can consider to lower down the price a bit.

Red Ginger has been at IMM for many years. They serve Malay food at reasonable prices and consistent quality. The beef is cooked till tender. Spent abt $12 per pax for our lunch which included teh-o and kueh. Besides mee-siam and mee-robus they also serve Chinese style noodles like hor-fun. You have to queue to order and pay for your food.

You know the food here is excellent, great variety, good selection of rice, noodles and kuehs. They had long queues, very predictably but very well managed and customers were attended to very quickly. Prices are reasonable considering it's on the ground floor in an air conditioned mall. I went there 2 days running when too lazy to cook and ate every last morsel on my plate. Yuuummmy

My go to eatery for nasi padang, mee rebus and nasi pattaya with coffee and kueh lopez. Had nasi pattaya with kopi-c and bill was $12.90. Kueh ran out. Nasi Pattaya was bigger in portion than last time I ate. Probably to make customers “feel better” with the higher pricing. A good 15 min wait as there were quite some food delivery guys collecting ahead in the queue, who were not there when I ordered. Would help if they mentioned approximate waiting time. 3 prawns were of reasonable size. Fried rice was soggy and not fragrant. Sambal chilli great as usual and helped. Giving this a miss on my next visit. Soggy texture of fried rice spoilt to some extent what otherwise is a great item on their menu.

My honest review. Food is delicious Nasi Goreng $10.50. Waiting time 30 minutes at 5:45pm. Should at least inform. Customer can decide for other choice.
