Food taste is good and authentic. I'm just a bit puzzled as the prices are a bit on the expensive side. The staff most often guess the price and have noticed i paid way too much for ehat i had before. Good food but be mindful what you order as it can really be a shock how much it is.

UPDATE: Went there today and tried to pay with my CDC voucher. The guy said he didn't have his phone with him. And I told him he could keep the hard copy of my voucher with the QR code. He grimaced and then brought out his phone. What was with the lying??? This is very terrible attitude and it was 2+pm, not even busy. Went a couple of weeks and ordered the same thing. It was $5.50. Today was $5.30. This is not ok. Anyone experiencing the same? Actually still one of the more affordable nasi Padang

A constant lunch crowd and you can find an array of dishes in this Nasi padang stall. The ingredients are fresh but of small portions. A typical 2 veg and 1 meat will cost about $7.

Chanced upon this hole in the wall while running some errands. No queue yet since it was around 11am. Surprised that the food is pretty good. As with most nasi padang stalls, prices are slightly higher, but this stall was still quite affordable. Took away just 3 dishes, no rice. To me, what makes or break a nasi pandang stall is their beef rendang and sayur lodeh. And oh boy their beef rendang ($4/serving) did not disappoint - beef is super tender, flavourful and cooked the traditional minangkabau way. Sayur lodeh ($3/serving) was also very soft, delicious and tauhu was not sour. Gravy was also super fragrant. Last dish was a serving of ikan billis and peanuts ($3/serving) coated with a sweet sauce with a tinge of spiciness. Pretty normal, but tasty dish which adds some crunch and texture to your meal. The makcik was very friendly too. I definitely will be back for more.

I would say overall the food is phenomenal especially the beef liver is crunchy and the squid is very soft and tender.

This is my first and prolly gonna be my last time patronising this place, it’s a total rip off in my opinion. Ordered 3 veggies dishes (stir-fried french beans, egg and begedil) it cost me 5SGD 🫢 super expensive and could probably get better quality food for the price I’ve paid here. Adding on, I asked for just a little gravy but the lady just drenched up my rice with Assam 😂, plus all dishes were heavily salted, I wonder if they actually pay any attention to their cooking or do any quality check at all. I have never came across a bad Nasi Padang apart from this particular vendor, it’s a pretty disappointing experience. 😐

I also stumbled on Dahlia by accident and was not planning to eat at 2pm but the wide selection of foods all looked really good and fresh so I decided to try. No line at all at 2. The owner explained all the dishes. I decided on the beef rendang and rice. The portion was more than I expected for the price. I think 4.50 for beef, 1 for rice. The lime juice for 1.50 was also good and not too sweet. She added sauces to the rice from about 5 different dishes which was nice. I'll go back if in the area to try other dishes.

This plate of 1 piece of fried chicken, quail eggs, and vegs costs me 10 SGD, which is surprisingly way too expensive for what I got . I don't mind the price if it's delicious, but unfortunately, it's not...

Been there today, Will be my first and last time also. I ordered nasi padang and picked a fried tau gua and shared it with my colleague. However both of us find the fried tau gua has odd taste, like it was overheated and spoiled somehow. We feedback accordingly, didn't intend ask for refund or any compensation, just feedback only so the person in charge is aware about this issue. The kitchen staff came out to clarify that the tau gua was bought and cook this morning and they never keep overnight even there is left over. Then she said we are the only customers complain about the taste, must be because we never brush our teeth this morning. (WTH?) I told the staff I am OK if you want to explain that your ingredient is fresh, but is not very good for u to insult us in order to justify your stand. Then she replied what she said is ture, no one else complained, must be our tongue got problem. (YA VERY WELL, at first, is our teeth and now our tongue) This is truly not acceptable. The food overall is really so so, nothing remarkable. Anyway, will never return to the restaurant ever due to the rude staff.

First and last time visiting this place. Noodles, chicken, egg and vegetables cost me $11.50 and a diarrhoea 💀 Did not even taste good. Their prices are also not transparent as my two other colleagues who ordered more dishes were charged way less.

Total rip off shop.. order white rice with quail egg, fried egg and chicken costs $10.. would you come again? I would never come again... I recommend everyone who work in tanjong pagar to find better place to have your meal instead of here...
