The waffle and gelato ice cream was quite disappointing. The waffle was very thin (compared to the one we tried at poppy pops) and the ice cream just tasted sweet, not flavorful. I was expecting the vanilla gelato scoop to taste more like vanilla, but it just tasted sweet.

Was walking around looking for a snack and saw this weekly $9.90 waffle and ice cream deal. It was muddy buddy for this week. I got to pick the flavor of ice cream and the syrup - maple or chocolate. The staff was helpful and friendly in explanation and recommendations. The service was fast too but the ice cream was soft and a bit melted already by the time it arrived on my table. But it’s ok, I just had to eat fast. The combination of muddy buddy with Oreo bits and milo powder is actually sugar overdose and too sweet for one person to consume. It’ll be fine if there’s 2-3 people sharing. Overall it’s a tasty fluffy warm waffle with delicious ice cream. I chose Irish mocha, it was chocolatey with chocolate chunks and a bit of Irish creme taste. I liked it. Don’t mind trying another flavor next week.

Great options and variety of ice cream. The mains were also good and the service always great. Recommended flavours are the Cookies and Cream, Vanilla Bean and White Choc Raspberry. Update: Standards dropping with the ice cream melting faster than ever.

My wife and i love their waffles and ice cream. Waffle is crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Staff is very friendly as they explained to us the menu and give us recommendations as we cant decide on which flavour to get. We were informed that their ice cream has zero air content hence its very creamy and have a rich flavour. So far Gelare Ice Cream is the best we had as it does not have the icy taste to compare to other ice cream brands. Overall, they have a great service, friendly staff and good waffles and ice cream! Looking forward to have their waffles and ice cream again! :)

Bought during promo, as the most reviewed mentioned, they don't have waffle cone, but they gave the crumb 😅, then also the counter not that friendly. I am ok with mint ice cream, but this tastes like toothpaste, the mint flavour not that pleasant. Will not buy this ever again, even with promo. Not worth, no wonder people give bad review

Came to have an ice cream with my daughter and they were closed for a break for at least 30 min. We decided to walk around and do some shopping and come back. When we returned they were still closed.

We went in cos we didn’t know what to eat, and there was no queue here. Looks like a fast food place. Waffles was not too bad, light and crispy. Ice cream was thick. Popcorn chicken is so so, glad that it came with nacho cheese. Coffee is horrible, has a real weird aftertaste and it’s bitter.

The chubby bespectacled indian lady at Star Vista Gelare is extremely rude. Absolutely no sense of service quality. She speaks to customers like she is challenging them, not serving them. On top of that, she doesn't take care of the company's food. When i arrived, i was told i can only choose from 3 flavours because the rest are "too soft". My goodness - how can an ice cream store have that happen? Out of 12, only 3 are available to choose? The owner of this franchise should really see to this. Why run a cafe if customer satisfaction isn't important?

Service charge was charged however scope of service was lesser now. Now I am asked to scan QR code even when I was at the counter. I have to look at the ice cream myself and online menu and decide on the flavours. You should not charge since you have redefined the scope of service rendered with technology advancement. And the ice cream is too soft when served. I was rushing to finish it before it melts away.

When we arrived, it was empty. First red flag. Then we noticed the place was grimy and dirty. Then the service was almost non-existent, but we're still expected to pay for service. The ice-cream was too stretchy. The apple crumble didn't have the apple flavour and no tartness whatsoever. The food here is just incoherent and not up to par for the price they charge.
