Been a fan of Waker Chicken and I frequent their Braddell outlet. But the chicken pieces at Yishun outlet isn't that 'Waker' (which means big in Korean). A piece is more like half piece. Rather disappointed, but I will continue to support them (especially other outlets which may have bigger chicken pieces)

I was told that tender was sold out at 7pm on weekdays. Therefore, ordered original 2 piece set at $5.50. It consist of butter rice, coleslaw, fries and chicken wings. Tbh, chicken is mediocre. It’s just the standard fried chicken wing. Size portion is quite small too. However, I enjoyed their fries. Thick cut and flavourful.

Having had Waker Chicken at the Jurong outlet, I was so excited to find out that they opened an outlet in Yishun! I love Waker Chicken, their chicken is always fried to perfection, crispy outside and crunchy inside. My go-to flavour is soy sauce, but I also tried the honey butter for the first time. It is good, but I'll stick to soy sauce. Will definitely be trying the sweet spicy soon. 100% recommended, you need to try!

I had the soy sauce tender set. The chicken was super tasty and nice~ will try other flavours next time. Only thing I don’t like is the butter rice which is probably because I hate butter :/

Ordered the 4 piece but got many smaller pieces. Not sure if I understood or not the pictures. I assumed I will have 4 pieces of chicken. Anyway, taste was quite bad. I am measuring this with respect to other big Korean chicken chain.

Been wanting to try Waker Chicken for awhile now as it was recommended by our friend, was not disappointed! 😋 Ordered a 2 Piece Soy Chicken Rice Set and the Tender Soy Chicken Rice Set! Reasonably priced with the portions being quite huge! 😱 Chicken was tasty, rice was nice and buttery and the fries were really good! The Chicken Tenders were kinda dry when we ate it that day, but hopefully it was a one off! 😄 Waiting time however was the painful part, our order took awhile to prepare and we waited for around 25mins 😭 Nevertheless, we would definitely come back again to try their different chicken flavours ☺️

Ordered the Soy Sauce chicken 7pcs $18.20 from Grab twice. Tastes great and is bigger than 4 Fingers. Today, I ordered the 3pcs butter chicken with rice and fries $7.90 at the stall. The butter chicken is nice but it can be too much for a meal because the white powder is quite salty. I would try the sweet and spicy chicken the next time.

Ordered the tender set meal which came along with small pieces of chicken tender in ketchup sauce, coleslaw, butter rice and fries. The coleslaw was ok, the chicken tender were still quite crispy despite being drenched in sauce and would recommend eating the butter rice even though initially I was quite hesitant to eat this. Would probably go for their bigger piece of fried chicken next time.

Photos on the menu look wow but was really disappointed with the taste. The waiting time was almost 20-30 minutes, which we understand since there’s also probably online orders, but ultimately the taste was a disappointment probably because of the lack of sauce. I ordered honey butter, but as you can see the sauce was just a drizzle only on the drumstick but there was nothing on the other 2 chicken parts so it tasted crunchy yet super tasteless. I feel like this could’ve been done better if only the staff had made it a priority to prepare and deliver food as it should. I’m not sure how the rice should taste like but it was almost plain with yellow colouring. Hope it can be improved in future.

Rice portion is too little. Taste of chicken is ok but the meat portion is very small. And the set should come with coselow. Yet where’s my coselow? Chili sauce not given as well.

EXTREMELY SLOW, imagine its not even rush hour but it takes about 20-25mins to get 1 order done. What is worst is that the serving and quality is unexplainable. You paid for 7sgd. for a 3pc chicken. Do yourself a favor, but something else. Its totally not worth it.

Ordered 2pc chicken via Grab and they cut a single piece of thigh meat into 2 and passed it off as a 2pc chicken set, picture for reference of size. Absolute rip off!
