It doesn't feel strange that everyone gives bad reviews. staff attitude is too bad. staff can't open their mouth to talk and smile to their customers!

China female staff that is on duty on 9/11/2022 10:30am was very disrespectful and rude to me. When during payment, I was asked which payment mode I would like, I said Nets. Nets: insert card, key in PIN code, and wait for approval and receipt will be printed out. When I was told to insert my card, I inserted in and the receipt was printed out before I was even prompted to key-in my PIN. I found it weird, as I am working in service line, I can immediately tell if this is paywave or Nets by the process of approval. But for the benefit of doubt, I asked the staff nicely if this is Nets as I have yet to key in my PIN, but instead of speaking the truth, she shouted that this is NETS. I can understand how she would even thought that a reason of: because you held your card near the machine so it was charged as Paywave. But obviously, it does not work this way as before that, the staff would have to tap on the nets machine screen if NETS or Paywave method is needed. Also, sidenote: My card does not have Netswave, hence the only way my card could have been "approved" by the machine, is either NETS or Paywave (which I have specifically said NETS). So I asked her one more time if the transaction is Nets or Paywave and she shouted at me saying "PAYWAVE PAYWAVE HOW MANY TIMES YOU WANT TO ASK?!" Everyone in queue was staring at her. So I said "Okay", I asked the uncle standing beside me and asked if the transaction I made which he had witnessed as well, which I do not know this man, was a NETS or Paywave. To my non-surprise, it was Paywave, of course, I knew I was right. The staff then now kept quiet as she has been exposed by not just me, but another customer who is waiting in line. As I was famished, and frustrated with the behaviour of your staff, I just took my food and left. Everyone was still glaring at her. The payment problem wasn't a serious one, I would have drop the issue if the staff was honest and polite. Instead of screaming at me, and lying through her teeth, she could have just said that she was sorry that she have misheard me and I would have accepted it. Everyone makes mistakes, but it's the attitude that's the problem. I have been an OCK's loyal supporter since young but to see such a despicable disrespectful staff wearing OCK's uniform and working under OCK's brand, it is such a disappointment. This Chinese Lady staff needs to definitely be Warned and Retrained, else sooner or later she would be complaint again or be infamous all over the news articles. I hope to see action to be taken against her attitude, and honesty. I'll be watching.

I am appalled that OCK does not seem to care or place any emphasis on BASIC customer service. Staff are often rude and impolite with a persistent black face when serving customers. More often than not, they all look very unhappy working there. A simple ‘thank you’ is not even reciprocated. I did a quick google reviews search and true enough, it seems like most, if not all, OCK outlets have issues with rude staff. Customers are the backbone for any business and any bad service is completely off-putting. I used to be a staunch supporter of OCK, but not anymore. I will not support a business which has staff who very reluctantly does their job. It is evident OCK management does not care for their customers.

Well, it's junk food so maybe that explains why the service is also junk. Your staff Wang Yanyan with messy hair can't speak proper English. She got frustrated trying and started cursing/mumbling in mandarin. Disgusting part is she keeps adjusting her mask while handling food and shouting at customers over food. Just left the queue and decided not to buy anymore.

My mum went to sembawang branch this afternoon around 2.40pm to purchase 5 popiah, 3 curry puffs and 2 sardine. We ate immediately once she was back, so disappointed that all the popiahs was not crispy and very soft. Even the sardines why was potatoes inside and the filling was very little.

Bought some food at Old Chang Kee at Sun Plaza. I was trying to pay using $5 birthday voucher. I tried to let their scanner to scan the QR code on the app on my phone but their system unable to detect it. The staff told me the QR code page looks different. I told the staff to let me figure out while let her to service other customers first. Realized it was due to my phone was in dark mode. Turn off the dark mode and show to the staff, the staff said:"Ah, this so the QR page that I usually see 😂". Story ended with I managed to pay with the voucher. Thanks for the staff that patient enough to give me time to resolve the issue!

The Chinese female staff was very rude. Doesn’t know how to talk nicely ..saw her screaming at her fellow colleagues.. it was an unpleasant sight. I would discourage all people who wants to work here to avoid this outlet at all cost .. it would be devastating to work here 😡

Both items (fishball and cheesy fish fingers) I bought were cold. Which is unusual, the items I get from other outlets are always piping hot (or warm at the bare least). Fishball was no where near bouncy, in fact it’s comparable to a sotong ball. First time feeling so disappointed with ock…. Standard usually quite consistent across other outlets.

Old Chang kids or wall . Their food quantity. Especially the chicken with cheese is getting lesser. Last time was $2.50 with at least 7-8pcs. Now$3.80 with 5pcs and food was cold too.. 😡😡😡😡😡. So bad
