Encik Tan somerset branch located at B2 level 313 Somerset. This is where to find singapore food type with reasonable price. Many available seat even though peak hour or lunch time. Straight forward service, order, pay, grab your food. No need to expect 5star customer service. Best seller is curry chicken rice. They are selling hot and cold drink too. Highly recommended!

Rare find in orchard with reasonably priced coffee and tea! Pleasantly surprised. Serving portion is also good. Place isn’t crowded and packed! Would know to come here next time!

Consistent Quality As With All Other Encik Tans. Quick, affordable and fuss free! That’s what you can expect at Encik Tan, although food quality is not the best, its food enough for the price. This outlet in particular is spacious and clean. Service is what you can expect in a food court.. not the best but gets the job done ;)

I had the curry rice while my Girlfriend had the wanton mee. The Curry in the curry rice is a little too sweet, but the fried eggs and fried chicken is nubbad. Overall I would eat it this dish again. There were plenty of seats and the queue was short when I was there. Fills up my belly with juicy eggs and chicken. The colour of the wanton mee was strange, the noodles were a strange bright yellow and the charsiew was unusually red too, making the dish look like toys. It was very mid, only 3 wantons and the noodles were chewy, in a bad way. The only thing that was decent was the soup (evidently, in the picture as it was clapped up) One more thing… The payment bro… shopee pay and cash only? Get with the times
