I recently tried to use the "skip the Q" online ordering system at kaffew & toast. I ordered a coffee and waited 15 minutes for the collection SMS. When I didn't receive it, I asked the counter staff, and they gave me the pin to open the locker to collect my coffee. Apparently, my SMS had not sent for some reason. I was disappointed that the online ordering system didn't work as advertised. I had to wait in line anyway, and I wasted 15 minutes waiting for an SMS that never came. The coffee was great and still hot, but I'm not sure if I'll use the online ordering system again. I'm worried that I'll have the same experience and end up wasting my time.

Horrors! A chip (either wood or plastic) was in my wanton noodle! The guy worker first claim it is fried shallots, then the female workers claim its a hard piece of char siew n gave me an example for comparison but when you do compare, its not the same. They offered me a replacement but I declined. Why is it so hard to just acknowledge the foreign particle and say will investigate. What if a child or elderly chokes on it or swallowed it and it cuts the intestines? The only way is to officially feedback.

Came here early morning about 8am and there was already a long queue. However, staff was efficient and it moved very quickly. Eggs and toast were perfectly cooked, coffee was not too bad as well. Overall nothing to complain about so it’s good!

The service deserves BELOW one star. I have ordered drinks through mobile to skip the queue but even so it did not come after 20 min. When asked they told me to wait for the next queue again. This is ridiculous.. Disorganised drinks area where online order paid was asked to queue up and told that there are many people queuing. When collecting the food, the staff thought it was not ours and pulled back one of the bowls unceremoniously without a polite hold on to check. The place is cramp and unfriendly to people on wheelchair. People queuing for food literally next to one side of tables at the queue line. The food is also not nice. The stools are also not safe for the elderly.

Been eating nasi lemak for over 40 year and all i can say is that this is the most disappointing nasi lemak ever… 0 effort to make either the sambal or the nice even slightly flavourful… never have i seen nasi lemak with no egg… rice not cooked…terrible…. If you want to serve something make sure you make it right…. Nasi lemak is culture food and its being done like this??? An absolute disgrace…. Pui

Ate here on a Thursday evening at about 8pm after my father finished his appointment at SGH. We ordered mee siams for myself and my mother, while my father ordered a grilled chicken noodle because his stomach and IBS cannot tolerate chilli. The menu had no clear indication that there would be chilli included and the cashier had not informed us that there would be chilli either. When the food was ready, my father dug in and realised there was chilli, so he requested the woman staff in a hijab to change the noodle. She blatantly refused and said that "all the items on the menu got chilli. It's normal." And the cashier simply rebutted with a "you never tell me you don't want chilli." As customers who have never eaten here before, are you expecting us to know that the items on the menu would automatically have chilli? This is my first time encountering a shop like that that doesn't ask the customer, "do you want chilli?" I understand that us customers could have clarified as well, but every other shop like Eat! or food courts would ask this very simple question and take the initiative. The service was terrible. All they had to do was apologise and they couldn't even do this. Would never eat here again. SGH should get a new cafe/restaurant to replace this one. This cafe with poor reviews does not reflect back well on the hospital either.

Ordered their signature set A. Tea cup came with lipstick stain, table not cleaned, chair was dirty. Cashier service uncle was rude and not wearing his mask properly throughout.

You will get Malaysian food at cheap price, but personally I don’t like Malaysian food. It will be better if you try coffee or any other beverage. Otherwise their service is good!

Ordered set A kaya toast and changed to ice lemon tea for $5.10. Ordered extra otah for $2. The kaya toast was nice and the slab of butter inside was generous but I wish the kaya spread would have been more. The drink is so so. But the boiled egg is just cooked to perfection. The otah is spicy, which I love

SGD$7.10 Quite expensive. Because they are the only place which breakfast available on Sunday mornings. So they have a monopoly on it. I opt-ed for fish mackerel so 6.30 + 0.8 =$7.10. *No Wheelchair accessibility because seats cannot be placed outside* 🙄 ITS A HOSPITAL FOR GOD SAKE!

Love their mee reebus, very flavourful and thick. Don’t try to dabao though, tried dabao on few attempts, entire noodles became very dried up and soggy (might be because lesser gravy). Their laksa is good too! Do try it. But overall, still prefer Kaffe and Toast @ NHCS, which has better food variety, better atmosphere and spacious wide seating. Hope SGH Kaffee & Toast can change for the better, since they are located at the main campus. Had a wheelchair during lunchtime, was difficult to find seats. Luckily another wheelchair lady gave up her seat near the entrance, and we manage to enjoy our lunch during the heavy lunch crowd.
