We were the last customers at this place that night. Except for the rice everything was almost cold and tasted average. Would have been a lot better even if it was warm. Went to Penyet Town due to friends who insisted that the place serves delicious food, but even they did not like it. Will probably have to try again during peak time to see if it really lives up to the hype my friends provided.

Trays and tables were dirty even though it was not crowded. Both Ayam Bakar & Empal Bakar was just drenched in the sweet sauce. I have not idea why would people say its the best penyet restaurant. Ice coffee was just diluted and somehow it tasted like it has been out for very long. I really am very disappointed. It was not a well spent $21.29.

It's my time to visit Penyet Town at kinex and tried the menu, we reach there I think as the last costumer before going to stop accepting orders, food is good and tasty but the Soup is no longer hot Im lil bit disappointed because I preferred hot soup but overall taste good.. Might visit next time earlier compared today and see how it goes again.

A table full of tasty Indonesia simple food that costs only $38! Please support them! Love the grilled fish, tauhu telur and grilled bakso. It’s appetising without burning the pocket

we had an early dinner to try out this penyet. ordered the penyet itself, grilled chicken and beef balls soup. the grill is better compare to the fried. little bit disappointed about the tables and chairs, it was not clean and swept properly. leftover food still on the floor and table.

The taste of the food is great! Seafood is a bit more expensive (even more than the duck dishes). Their food preparation time is really fast. The Ayam Bakar (Grilled Chicken) and the Bebek Goreng (Fried Duck) (not pictured) were fantastic. The tahu telur was alright. The fried keropok was stale. We ended up exchanging for a new pack when we saw another customer doing that. The new pack of keropok was crunchy so that was a huge plus. Didn't notice the tables being wiped down after customers left so you might want to bring extra wet tissues to clean the table if you choose to dine in here.

It was late evening & 1st time there.. extensive menu. We took out but was a pretty long wait due to prior orders. So it must be fairly good. Will do lunch next time.
