No frills Thai noodles and rice dishes. Okay for a quick bite and gotta say their fried fish soups (tomyum and boat) was pretty decent! Servings of fried fish was good and yummy. Thai iced tea also great! Mango sticky rice was so so. Sticky rice isn’t as grainy as I’ve experienced and is partially paste like. Just remember it’s a self serve place with little or no human interaction.

Lovely shop embracing self ordering and collection. Not too crowded on a Sunday morning. The Tom Yam noodle seafood is a bit spicier than I would expect but it is alright with me. Flavorful soup. The green milk tea with addition of pearls is ok. Drink is refreshing and good. The pearl is different from those you buy on bubble tea. Pearl is not for me. Overall good experience.

Saap Saap Thai has really good thai boat noodles! I ordered the chicken boat noodles, and in the soup there are chicken slices(shabu shabu kind) and 2 chicken balls. The portion is generous and the soup/noodle is very rich in flavour. It is not too spicy so if you like the spice you can add more chilli to it. I ordered with the extra noodles for $1.20 more and it is really worth it. The chicken ball is a little bit hard and can be better. The chicken slices are quite sous vide-ish and does not feel dry at all. Ordered some sides - 4 winglets and 4 chicken balls which they drench it in some thai chilli sauce. Quite crispy on the outside, and the sauce is just nice and not too sweet

Ordered the Thai Crispy Chicken with Rice, added and egg and extra serving of chicken. Was not disappointed! Generous extra serving, almost couldn't finish. Chicken was crispy and hot. Not sure if will return, must have craving as price point slightly high.

Sago have good health benefits! Nice portion of fresh sago. Delicious dessert! Ordered the Red Tea Jelly Sago, nice serving of fresh mango too! Not too sweet nor bland, best is no ice blended thrown into it, unlike some other dessert stall who freeze their sago and gave lots of ice. Will visit again! Lacking of staff? I was asked by the dishwashing aunty to return the bowl to her. Is not compulsory to return tray for restaurant, this isn’t a food court or coffee shop.

While in Funan Centre recently, we decided to try this branch for dinner. I remember walking past the branch in IMM and saw many people queueing for the food. So naturally, we thought the food must be pretty good. However, we were quite disappointed with the food quality. My Tom Yum noodles didn't taste authentic, and wasn't particularly yummy. The chicken noodle soup was so-so. The dessert was ok. I'm not sure if it's this particular branch that suffered from food quality, or maybe the taste isn't to my liking. Feel free to check it out, but note there are many other eateries in Funan.

Average food. Might be overpriced for its quality. We ordered the sharing Tom yum noodles. It was a bit too salty and too many lime slices. Would have preferred more soup next time! We also ordered fried chicken, that was average too. This is your place to go if you are feeling for Thai food and in funan mall.

My second visit here as encountered good experience previously. Nevertheless, this time the food quality is different from what I have ate. My bowl of sweet potato has the sweet potato not yet fully cooked.. still tad hard to chew. Always go for the combo 4 set. Worth it. Portion is good for the bowl of beef boat noodles. Mango is sweet and juicy. Green Thai milk tea taste more flavourful thn the Orang colour milk tea

Portion is very big. One portion can be shared for two people. Worth the money. Milk tea was good.

I was passing by and noticed their mango sticky rice, so decided to give it a go. To be honest, nothing special, portions are rather small and the sticky rice mediocre. However, the mango was really nice, sweet and juicy 🥭 Not the best culinary experience, maybe I'll try their mains next time!

came here for dessert as we were craving for some mango 🥭 sticky rice. it was alright, nothing amazing. there was barely any service as you order from the kiosk and get a buzzer, then you collect your food when it buzzes. honestly, worth a pass.

My first experience at Saap Saap Thai in Funan was incredibly disappointing. I ordered the beef boat noodle, and to my dismay, the broth was lukewarm, and the beef appeared completely undercooked. It was absolutely revolting! I'm convinced that my stomachache is a direct result of this terrible meal. Please see the attached image for evidence.

Food is good as always. But for drinks .. i paid $3 for iced milk tea, guess $2.00 for the ices? And $1 for the tea? Please give consumer what we paid for. How much is a cup of ice usually in cafe and restaurant? Attached picture is the ice after I finish my tea.

Tom Yum Beef Slice Noodle Soup, $8.90, Thai Crispy Chicken Boat Noodle Soup, $8.90, 'Yum' Thai Salad Glass noodle w Crispy Fish, $6.90 Desserts: Mango Tango Classic, Pomelo Mango Sago, Thai Iced Milk Tea and Iced Honey Lime Drink. There are 4 Combo Meals which comes with drink and side dish or dessert if u buy a main dish, rice/noodle. Both noodle soup had generous amount of chicken and beef slices but the soup was a bit salty Glass noodle is sourish and spicy which pairs well with crunchy fish. It also has pungent taste of raw onion Sticky rice was cold when served with the mango. It would be better if rice served hot which goes very well with the cold mango fruit. Pomelo Mango Sago was average. No service charge. Self service ordering, collection and return of tray. It has limited number of seats as it was a small restaurant

We have been returning to Funan’s Saap Saap Thai for a couple of years. The food has been consistently good, with a nice spicy kick. It is also possible to get less chilli, which I did tonight because of my stomach 😭😮‍💨 The Crispy Chicken and Grilled Chicken Boat Noodles have always been our choices. 🐤🍗 We felt that tonight the portion was for some reason bigger, and we are the kind of people who can eat a lot. I took the Crispy Chicken out of the soup onto an extra bowl, because I wanted to keep the skin crispy. There were not a lot of people when we went on Tuesday Night, 715pm. That could be because a lot of people are out of the country on holiday. It could also be why we got such a big portion. If you are looking for a big dinner, highly recommend. Tables are clean, and you have to return your trays after eating. We will definitely return again in the future. 🍜
