From couple or weeks ago. The food was average fare and the restaurant seem to be short staffed and be struggling to cope with increased diners after lifting of restrictions. Kudos to the service staff for trying their best despite the struggle!

Service was polite & prompt. However, hygiene could be improved as the table they gave me still had bits of food & oily spots on it so I had to sanitize it myself. Ordered the Chicken Baked Rice and it was disappointing. It was cheesy but there was not enough sauce so the rice was dry & bland plus the chicken itself was dry, chewy & bland. Maybe I should've stuck with my usual, Salmon Baked Rice. Will return to check on that next time. Hope it's still super yummy like before.

Staff are friendly and the place was clean. However, I will never again eat an impossible burger. 🤢 It was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever had. The steak was no better either. But the salad was good!

Swensen's is the place I go for dessert. Last Friday, we had a waffle promotion with 2 scoops of ice cream with toppings. The waffle is on the softer side. We choose strawberry as the toppings and blue berry juice is a nice mix with the ice cream cream. It is a very spacious cafe where they have beautiful stained glass lamps. There are seats which are situated besides clear windows which you can see the scenery outside. They also have cushioned seats as well. They close at 1030pm.

Swenson's is a stalwart for Singaporeans. Guess many will have fun memories of ice cream there. I used to enjoy their breakfast on weekends. Today, I had another favorite, their mega burger. The taste is nice and meaty! Lots of other ingredients in it as the picture shows, only wish it wasn't turkey bacon.

A very pleasant experience we had this evening at plaza sin Swensen, though they are short of staff but service was very good! Special thanks to Shah & Sheha who served us. Food standard were also better than the one we had at the other outlet. Thanks for the wonderful dinner experience 😊👍🏻

Best of the best. Tried vegetarian options (meat-free pasta & impossible burger). The impossible burger was nice as usual with reasonable & balance portion of fries and veg. The mock meat was great, inside the dish contains mushrooms with tomato sauce. It was a perfect combination with orange juice and chocolate ice cream! The staff were efficient, diligent & attentive. Serving of the food is fast. Overall pleasant experience.

Would rate this more towards 3.8. Ordered breaded chicken and Cesar salad. Salad was average, but I was quite surprised by the breaded chicken. It was fried nicely, had a nice crunch, and a good balance of fats, fried skin and meat. It was warm as it was freshly out of the kitchen. The chili had a nice little heat to it, and it didn’t taste like the commercial chili. The tartare sauce complemented the chicken nicely.

Relatively huge place with further seatings into the restaurant (shop front is deceiving). We ate during lunch time on a weekday. There were only 2 servers attending to about 6 tables. They were quite busy and couldn’t follow up on our orders well. The staff cleared our main dishes but didn’t follow up on getting our desserts served. It was quite disappointing. I do hope the manpower improves.

Aside from the good service, Swensen’s offers no other redeeming quality. The food was bland and served in small portions, which wouldn’t be an issue if not for the relatively high price tag. The chicken baked rice (pictured) was just 4 slices of chicken on top of unseasoned plain rice, and they weren’t even generous with the sauce. Overall not a good experience, can’t recommend eating here with a good conscience, save for wanting to support the friendly staff.

Went there for birthday celebration lunch with family. No queue on a Sunday lunch time. Quite standard western comfort food - hot and crispy fries, fried chickens etc. I love the sweet potato fries - not commonly on the menu and Swenson does them well. The fried chicken basket just as good too. Service is slow and poor though. Even though half full, pretty slow.

Was a little worried coming to this outlet because of some bad reviews. Thankfully it wasnt as bad when we visited on a sat noon. We used one of our set vouchers and added on the fries, clam chowder and baked rice, which had their usual quality. Fries was served hot and crispy too. The only thing that caused the -1 star was missing my change in ice cream order. We had a scoop that came with the voucher and initially ordered a lime but quickly revised it to sticky chewy chocolate. Had informed the manager but i guess she forgot about it, as we were eventually served the lime instead. I didnt raise the issue with them since it was us who decided to change the flavour, but we consider service level, i guess its not as attentive. Overall it was still fine and the outlet had plenty of seats inside.

Unhappy with a staff named Christopher. He came to ask if I would like warm/cold water but I wanted to clarify with him something first before I’m served with anything. He just stepped away like that and say will come back to me when I called him again. But he didn’t returned at all. And I waited for quite sometime for the next person to attend to me. After I finished my mains he came over to clear my plate and I requested to serve my dessert. He said ok but no action was taken by him. I have to called another staff to serve me. No issue with the food but this staff definitely didn’t want to work more than his scope I think which is serving drink/food and clear tables.

Bizarre. Space was huge, half empty, and food service took 30min during lunch time. All food came separately, so our group of 6 had to eat as and when the food came in. It took 30min for the first main dish to arrive. I had shared Breaded and Battered Fish & Chips with my colleague. Breaded version wasn't good, too oily. Battered version came in very brown/overfried, but tasted a lot better. The add-on side of Salsa fries for main courses did not come with salsa dip nor did it come in a cone. We had to ask the staff to provide mayo and salsa.

food was amazing! staff were friendly and accommodating. reminiscent of childhood and still tastes like it! the layout of the restaurant is a little odd, with loads of blind spots and corners where it’s hard to get the attention of the staff.

Food- ordered 49ers and bread was hard and cold. Cornflakes chicken was not crispy & juicy at all. Fish and chips so so only. The rest of food no feeeback. Ice cream also had shrunk in size too and prices in food increased. Service - although they are lack of manpower, their service are still at their tip top service. Thumbs up for it. Atmosphere - good place for big group. But aircon seems not working well. They have an area that can cater more than 40 pax. Overall, disappointing in food but glad in service.

I ordered the beef lasagna with the lunch set (you can pick side + drink or side + ice cream etc.) and it was $26.97 in total after tax. Food is mediocre and there is a wide variety so maybe good for larger groups but price point wise not very worth it.

Came here for company lunch for 13 pax, and this Swensens outlet is a good place to host 😋 water. It is complimentary, and immediately once we sat down, Carafes of cold water and cups were served. It is very spacious and has multiple seats as well with windows for the diners inside. Service staff were very efficient and never missed a beat. But it is pretty obvious they are understaffed as the lunch crowd was queueing outside, but the staff were rushing orders and serving customers on the inside.. visibly, the staff look really exhausted by lunchtime.. :( Food wise is pretty decent! Orders came out quickly, and a quick mention of what's good and what's not. Mushroom Creamy Soup & Clam Chowder were really good. It is very robust in flavours and decent in portion. Comes with bread too. I rate: 5/5 🌟 Claypot Laksa was some National Day special and... no go. Sauce was very coconut creamy but too sweet. 😫 I rate: 2/5 🌟 The rest were quite standard of Swensen food like Baked Rice, pasta, meatballs with tomato sauce & sundae. There's not much to mention. Mango ice cream cake was really good!

One of Swenson's outlet at the busy Plaza Singapura. The door front looks small but it is misleading as the restaurant has huge space once you get pass the door. The menu is the standard menu from Swenson and the food is pretty much the same standard that you find in anynof its outlets. Nice friendly family restaurant to drop by if you want some nice ice cream after your meal or just to have ice cream and nothing else.

I stopped by for a burger with fries and a milkshake. The milkshake arrived within five minutes of ordering but was very watery. Not thick at all. I was surprised since this place seems to advertise their shakes and ice cream as their main forte. I guess not. The food took about 30 minutes to arrive at the table. I had already finished my milkshake by then since that was the only thing that i had on the table (also water). But the fries were cold. The server took the fries back to the kitchen and brought it back out about 5 minutes later. I think the kitchen just nuked it in the microwave instead of giving me fresh fries. I just gave up at that point. The burger was pretty good, not spectacular, but good. Overall, i was disappointment with the quality of food there. There are way better options in the mall for the same price.
