Nice decent A&W outlet. Very busy but the staff service is generally good. They are polite and helpful. Quality of food is pretty pleasant though the portion is rather small, especially for the fried chicken. The waffle is also on the pricier side. But their chicken coney cheese fries are pretty yummy. Be prepared to queue for a while even on weekdays.

Customer attendants were good at allocating seats for us. She told us where to park the luggage trolley, as it’s not allowed inside the eating place. Cashiering was good too, prompt and swift. It was a super pleasant meal!

Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ambience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Waiting Time: ⭐⭐⭐ Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Expect crowd throughout the day especially longer waiting time during peak hours. Great place for some good old classic A&W meal. Great service from staffs as they're professional & fast. If you're going in big groups, be prepared for a longer waiting time.

Shout out the A&W for their root beer float! 👍🏻 At $3.50, it’s really affordable compared to other places in Singapore. Sure, other places might use premium root beer, such as IBC, but after adding the ice cream, they taste similar. If you’re buying a meal, it’s just another 60 cents to add the ice cream to the root beer. Great taste, fantastic value.

Definately fast food standard. RootBeer float >is ok Fried Chicken >Not the top 10 best. Waffle > Typical fast food waffle. Better to spend the money on Other cafe's waffle. And ❌it is kind of turn off to pay for Maple syrup when you order waffle. A&W was gone for so many years, and locals expect a fantastic comeback. But the food, it is a disappointment for today's expectations.

A&W Cream Cheese Chicken Burger Combo (7.5/10) Contains a fried chicken patty, onion rings, and a generous dollop of cream cheese. As A&W is halal, the bacon is actually chicken crisp that's baked dry. However, it was rather hard, and the texture was unpleasant. Only served to add extra salt. As the burger is thick, and packed with ingredients, it will be a messy experience! Do prepare some napkins to clean your hands. Their curly fries was crispy, and well seasoned. Also, note that you'd need to top-up for the root beer float. One of the decent late-night preflight options! 😊🍔

Finally managed to visit the jewel outlet on a weekday lunch so it wasnt too crowded. Ordered the 2 piece chicken which was kind of normal to me. Didnt really like the fact that i was given breast meat, but it wasnt really tough so i give it to them.. curly fries were hot and crispy which was good. And of course their signature root beer which came in their icy cold mug. Overall it was okay to have if its not crowded, but its definitely not something i will queue for.

Nice to eat there but they are a bit understaffed so waiting time can be a bit of wait on weekends. Had the hot dog and mozza burger set and it was not bad! The curly fries are nice n crisp and root beer feels so nostalgic. Would definitely go there again!

A&W is located at Jewel Singapore, #B2 - 209 Heading to A&W at Jewel Changi Airport is like travelling back in time. The fast food chain was practically a landmark for many Singaporeans before the closure of its last outlet in 2003. Relive the past as you head down to join the queue, but beware as it might set you back anytime between one to 1.5 hours The price updated as of 2023: The iconic Root Beer Float ($4.00). Everything was as I remembered, from the frosted ice-cold mug to the familiar taste of creamy vanilla ice cream and gassy non-alcoholic draft beer. This drink of nostalgia gets a 10/10 must-order rating from me. The All-American Coney Dogs is the ultimate old-school item on the menu. Hopeless nostalgics can look forward to tasting these chicken hotdog buns with chicken or beef sauce. There is a la carte option, while the combo costs $9.50. Expect the restaurant to be swarmed with people. There’s a good crowd in the mix, with teens wanting to see what the hype is about and older folks looking to bring back some good memories. Be prepared to queue for more than 30 minutes for dinner on a weekday and one hour on the weekends. Food collection is self-service, and do remember to clear your waste at the nearby bin.

Extremely disappointed with the fried chicken. Ive always loved the fried chicken here and felt that it was the best in Singapore. But today’s dining changed my mind. Was given chicken breast without any meat! Thế drumstick was so tiny, more like a drumlet. The chicken breast was mainly bone and the little meat there was so dry. Im so disappointed.

I have been wanting to come here to eat since the day they set up this outlet at Jewel but the queue is always long. Last night I was lucky as we managed to get a table almost instantly but the overall experience was just so so 🧐🧐 I missed the old A&W in the 80’s as they were reasonably priced & also very generous in portion but last night we spent about 35 for 3 persons and can’t help but feeling “still hungry”. The curly fries little…. & the root beer for combo meal is without the ice-cream unless you top up $1…. The staff checked regularly to see if we were done & one even asked if he could clear our tray when there were still a few miserable curly fries in the tray…. Too rushed & stressed to eat here

I love their Waffles. Skip the Ice Cream and just get the waffles! Having it with just Butter and Honey Syrup which goes so well and so yummy. Saw that they had the Beef Coney Cheese with Curly Fries and had to get it too and it didn't disappoint. Best of both worlds. Happy Tummy, Happy Me. Beef Coney Cheese with Curly Fries $5.40 Waffles and Butter Syrup $8

Hot Dog (SGD $6.60) @ A&W Restaurants. . This fast food chain (named after founders Roy W. Allen and Frank Wright since June 1919) made its return to the shores of Singapore in April 2019, after being away for over 16 years. . Their iconic coney dog is their version of a chili dog, with a choice of either chicken or beef sausage, topped with either chicken or beef chili con carne sauce, and diced white onions, within a hot dog bun. . Has soft juicy crisp tender textures, and bready meaty salty savoury vegetal sweet flavour.

It is better to take away, eat at another a&w outlet or even go to McDonald's, Mos Burger or somewhere else. I get that if its busy, you want to have many tables available but it was 10am with the place 80% empty. Nonetheless the service staff only allocates you to a 1 person bar table and more importantly comes by to clear your tray and food items when you're not done.

Everyone wants to have their hands on awesome root beer served in a frosty mug. Bit of queue in busy times. Great food.
