I tried the national day promotion menu, the chicken luncheon egg mayo thick toast with Milo kopi. When I ordered it at the cashier, she wasn't very sure what I was talking about. The promotion menu was literally placed right in front of the cashier machine. I had to pick it up and show her before she understood me. The food was great, but the staff needs to be updated on the promotion before releasing it.

I've seen the fair share of negative comments for this wang outlet at Hougang 1. I think quite a few nunber of feedbacks were about their service in general. To me, I feel that the uncle and aunties might be slow in preparing the food sometimes but you can see the they are actually trying their very best to serve you fast. Some of them are very courteous and friendly as well. Do try to be patient when you are dining here and spare a thought for them especially during their peak timings. They have to rush orders for food delivery guys as well. Food wise, I would say it's standard across all wang outlet island wide. The coffee here is good. The taste here matches the same standard as other competitors out there. Do enjoy your time here!

I came for an early morning breakfast at about 8am on a Friday morning, and ordered the standard fare of kaya toast set. What delighted me most was the service provided by Aunty Ang. She was warm , friendly and patient. She set the right mood for an enjoyable morning breakfast. I am rating 4 stars for the service.

Love the place here. Not sure why low rating. Maybe due to super old reviews. Uncle who takes order is very friendly. The lady who makes the coffee is fast and calls out the order loud and clear. Another lady makes good food. If there is nobody, the waiting time is short. They dun slack around. The main problem will be lack of manpower during peak and lunch time just that 2 hrs.. Management needs to review this either w some self service or automation. I have seen people walking away or forming crowd due to long queues.

Stood at counter for couple minutes, staff so busy with storing items and cleaning and no acknowledgement. I had to ask “ anybody selling coffee?” Yes what do you want? Staff not getting priority right, instead of serving customer , they do other unnecessary things first. Please put more staff at the counter so some staff can concentrate on serving customer instead of making customer wait for nothing.

Ordered Kaya butter toast, lemon honey & half boiled eggs set Given toast with butter without kaya (went back counter to ask to add in the Kaya), egg still look very raw, lemon honey that taste more like lemon water. Also wanted to order toast with just butter & sugar but not available on menu 😅

Ordered just two cups of coffee. Cashier took order and seems like order somehow wasn’t able to reach auntie (not wearing specs). And when asked, the auntie preparing drinks can show attitude by saying I did not inform her. It is a really terrible experience buying from this shop. I won’t recommend anyone to patronise this poor service shop ever. Credits to the cashier and drinks preparation auntie.

The mee Siam portion was pathetic. Could at least double the portion of the bee hoon. Prata with chicken curry is good.

Food was okay. Bit costly I would say.. A dollar less on the price would be very apt for their quality. Can improve very much on the quantity. Maybe they can add more variety to the drinks menu.

Please really reconsider again if you ever want to patronise this store. This have really been a good breakfast place to go to every weekends for the past 3 years until lately. Just experienced the most unpleasant event when visiting the store today, Sunday (29 Oct 2023)and encountered a a rude chap Malay chap at the cashier. Please reconsider your tone and attitude towards customers, especially in the service line. Not only did you took wrong orders for 2 different customers including myself, instead of being apologetic for the wrong order, you pushed blame on the customers that we were the ones who informed you wrongly and got all grumpy. Moreover, I witness you being very impatient with one of the elderly customer who wasn’t sure of his order. Can you please chill and let the elderly man decide first rather than rushing him on his order. The management should really consider sending your staff down for a proper customer oriented service course. The image of the store is shaped by the employees, remember that.

honestly dont waste your time lol z , ordered nasi lemak , but was told can order at 10 , saw another guy scooping rice , i ask why cannot order now the thing ready already. They dl but no choice have to serve the nasi lemak

Fuss free place to hv your Sg breakfast of eggs n kaya toast. I also like the congee but would prefer if the nuts were the boiled ones not the fried ones. Just a personal preference. A good variety of food ie mee siam n mee rebus if u like.

My experience was less than satisfactory. Despite ordering eggs, they were consistently served not fresh, requiring multiple replacements. Additionally, I was disappointed to find that on Chinese New Year Eve, which should be a regular workday, the restaurant imposed a surcharge on the menu.

We visited on first day of lunar new year. The place is a bit crowded, and they seem to be short staff. The drinks and food were served in order of the number. Wanted to commend the staff.

I went for breakfast and ordered mee siam set, it turns out the serving portion is really very very small. Paying $7.30 for that amount just do not tally. I really do not recommend ordering the mains. Please avoid. It's fine if you just want a cup of coffee or tea.

Do not reccomend. Barely any kaya in the kaya butter toast, extremely dry. Can't redeem some shopee voucher although I could at other outlets.
